>>64747043"Hotdogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades" (H3VR) did that for me. Han Solo stance shooting is buckets of fun. Also helped speed up my reload times on my AR. It definitely does help your actual shooting to play lots of VR gun games. You also don't need a no fun allowed simulator to get better with shooting via VR. The special controller attachments and gun stocks are nice, but the point is just fucking shoot more lol.H3VR is probably going to be the best game other than something explicitly meant for training like Ace XR. I prefer getting shot back at versus just regular old range stuff so personally I just stick with shooting giant talking hot dogs. Loads of fun to fight off tacticool sosigs with tacticool voices or zosigs (zombie dogs) with the tourettes guy voice pack in close quarters with guns as close to your HD setup as you can get. Also has a huge desert map for long range practice. Mortar and field gun practice is also lots of fun. Need a mod for actual howitzers and whatnot though unless some got added in the last year.

Realistically, what firearm would you need to take down a rampaging Na'vi from the Avatar films? Nine feet of solid muscle and bone (reinforced with natural carbon fibre), extremely fast-moving and agile, fighting on their own turf with very short engagement distances? There's no way 5.56 mm would cut it, would 7.62mm be enough?

>>64755490What can you fit in the Gamut?
>>64756476nta but the dynamics can be different for guns that simply aren't manufactured at all anymore. Any import that happens at that point is subtracting from a limited global pool, like some country had a pile in a warehouse and surplus them on the international market. In that case how it goes is more of a gamble, yeah a lot of smaller importers will be unwilling to sit on stock forever and discount if it doesn't sell as expected but others may be prepared for a longer haul if they think demand will be there down the road since the gun will only ever get rarer.

>>64715359It would degrade in a century.Better to build out of stone & brick, at least subbasement, basement, sewage, water, telecom, electrical, first floor, second floor. Basalt or granite, with roman concrete as filler. Obviously gotta build super thick in seismic zones, and well above flood zones. You need local water & power, self-sustaining (water & fuel source within city, or 5 year supply stored).Location is most important factor, others include demographics, supplies, and morale.Proof against rooting out defenders also requires tunnel systems and no wide boulevards, probably a river or canal system too. Imagine Boston on ground 50 feet higher, basalt bedrock for subbasements & tunnels, granite blocks on top for basements & just under street level tunnels & levels 1 & 2, steel or brick construction on top from 3 stories up.Narrow, winding pedestrian alleys with buildings overhanging. Murderholes & peekholes in ever door & wall. Multiple outdoor doors inside each building. Courtyards with trees or ivy obscuring the sky. Commuter trains/trams at 2nd level, 3rd level being elevated freeways, 3rd & 4th level parking garages.1st level exclusive biking, pedestrian, canals, very shadowy lit by skylights. Would be nice in a hot climate.Even if you nuke it a few times the survivors could turtle up & wait you out, & it's not like you'll send infantry to take it while radioactive for a few months. House to house fighting would require individual room clearing for the entire city, probably 2x defender casualties for you at least.I'd just bypass it, unless it's at a bottleneck. Or try gassing them with something heavier than air. Can't flood it. Biological weapons would work, rat warrens are great for plague rats.

Anyone here actually use D-Lead products, or any leadremovers in general?I am currently looking at wipes, hand soap, body wash & shampoo, laundry detergent, and a lot more but theres too many to name...How many should I buy, and should I just buy all of them to be safe?I shoot a fair amount and I’m going to be shooting way more this year than I ever have, and I'm starting to wonder how paranoid I should be about lead exposure...Because I’ve heard horror stories about young dudes who shot their whole lives, never wore gloves, never washed right, ate at the range, reloaded bare-handed and endedup with fcknCANCER or straight up DEAD a few decades later from lead poisoning.>Is this a legit concern, or am I turning into a schizo?>What precautions actually matter (ventilation, washing hands, changing clothes), and what’s overkill?>I also have Pets, and I don't want them getting sick either.

I just got a high paying job and in celebration I'm going to update my arsenal. Pls give input on my choices for these roles and let me know if there's something better:>Ruger SFAR as main DMR rifle, open to other short receiver .308 ARs or a .308 bullpup>M&P9 or 10mm Witness as handgun, I do live in grizzly country and this will be my primary HD/clearing gun>Kel Tec RDB as building clearing/HD rifle>KSG as HD shotgun>Mossberg Aftershock as drone gun to be worn on a scabbard, can also double as bear gun with slugs>300WM rifle as sniper (undecided but either a cheapo Savage bolty or go all in and get a Desert Tech SRS for $6k)Already have my carry guns set and most of the common rifles for range funs but want specific ones that best fill those roles. What are your go-to's?
>>64753766Not to be autistic, but a 10" is also too loud, the flash is too great, and concedes both terminal ballistics unless the right ammo is used and also concedes a lot of AP capability if your opponent is wearing plates. Plates are cheaper than they've basically ever been and they are increasingly mainstream. Obviously train for failure drills (in the dick!) but it's still an issue to be contended with.M855 does not reliably pop all PE plates for example at low velocities. It reliably punches through 98% of them at over 3,000ft/s. For another, unrelated thought, it just got found out in /gq/ and it raised a huge shitstir that the budget Level IV plate everyone has been using, the Hesco 4403, has basically no headroom above Level IV spec and M2AP reloaded just 20-30ft/s above NIJ spec (2,910ft/s) will pen a conditioned plate. Anon getting a long schlong .300 winmag and learning to reload would fulfill that larp fantasy nicely.
After taking some input, I think a wlvrn might be best for me. The sfar doesn't seem to be the most accurate for an AR, and I've heard that the wlvrn is one of the most accurate piston driven systems that exist. It satisfies my short bullpup/clearing rifle role, and can be caliber swapped if I feel I need something specialized without having to confuse my manual of arms.
