These shitboxes were rattling around until the mid 90's, so it makes me wonder if the T-10M's got all turned into scrap and paperclips so quickly or is there a stash of outdated heavy tank garbage they're sitting on
They got junk like the T-54's and 55's going to appear in limited numbers but maybe the techpriests forgot the startup ritual for the T-10

>>
>>64760843
I read somewhere that horse prices in Russia have skyrocketed ever since the MoD started buying them en masse
>>64760854
>They basically chose to avoid dealing with T-64s due to not being able to handle the engine issues.
Is that true? I thought I saw videos floating around where T-64s were still being used in certain parts of the front, or at the very least T-64 hulls were recognized underneath all of the Tutle tank shit thrown on top of them
>I'm not sure how bad the rest of T-72s and T-62/T-55/54 tanks are.
I believe OSINT sources are saying that T-55/54, T-80s, and T-62s are either scrap metal tier or poor/extremely poor with regards to their "value". Its only the T-72s that have a moderate amount of hulls that are in any sort of "decent" conditions and even then there are far more poor/scrap metal tier hulls than there are "decent" hulls.
>>64760873
Wasn't there a video or two of a rusty T-10 being rolled off of a flatbed onto a parking lot somewhere in Russia? I wonder if they considered looking at refurbishing the remaining T-10s they have and found that it wasn't worth the effort

Merry Christmas you beautiful anons!

If you haven't received your package, please submit an email to me and we will start tallying the late arrivals, and then sorting between folks who are likely to get theirs in the next few days vs those who the dreaded USPS has lost forever. We will be dispatching the Grinch Relief Corps (GRC) as needed to remedy. Send grinch relief applications to wendigohunter at protonmail dot com

Well it's a bit like the old Soviet-era joke.
The dad worm and the son worm walk together:
"Dad" says the son worm "Living in an apple, it is great, right?"
"Yes, my son, living in an apple is great."
"Dad, living in a plum, it is incredible, right?"
"Yes, son. Living in a plum is incredible."
"Dad? Living in a peach is marvelous, right?"
"Yes, indeed. Living in a peach is truly marvelous."

"So dad... why do we live in a dog shit?"
"Because, son.... it is the fatherland."

It's been talked to death why space fighters are impractical but let's say the stupid rich dictator of the third world asteroid colony is dead set on having his fighter jets in space. What would a "realistic" space fighter look like? What do you have to consider about space as a medium?
1 reply omitted. Click here to view.
>>
>>64760301
>fighters
Are actually very practical, especially as drones.
>>
>>64760301
>realistic "fighter"
A drone swarm control ship. The drones would have a bunch of missiles.
>designate targets
>upload to swarm
>GTFO and let drones do their thing
That's what space fighters are going to be. A human telling a prelaunched and standby drone swarm to wake up, lock onto something, and do their job. They don't even need to look like atmospheric drones. You can pack missiles, terminal guidance, and reaction thrusters in a cylinder and have it sitting there in sleep mode with either a RTG or solar backup to keep it awake enough to receive a signal for years. Just launch a few more every so often to account for natural attrition.
>but we want dogfights in space
Never going to happen. Individual fighter craft engaging each other is ridiculous at exoatmospheric distances. It's going to be Macross missile spam forever.
>>
>>64760503
Couldn't fighters just participate in the missile spam instead of dogfighting?

You've heard of FRTs, but what's a "super safety"?
>uses the safety to force the reset of the trigger
>allows for way more trigger options (you just have to trim two places)
>invented by Tim Hoffman (https://hoffmantactical.com)
>gifted to the world to freely 3D print
>enterprising people now selling super safeties made of steel (recommend at least 4140)
>cheaper than an FRT ($90-$150)
>originally a 3-position cross-bolt safety
>left is safe, right is semi, middle is super
>3-position 90° super safety selectors are now available

You're tasked with building a kit to help Iranian resistance against the Ayatollah regime, the kits you build will be airdropped into Iranian territory in large dufflebags and then picked up by chosen operatives.

You have $3k per kit to try to arm an light resistance guerrilla fighter, you can only source items from the US civilian market. At minimum you should provide a rifle, a pistol, body armor, essential accessories and ammunition for both, as well as any survival or tactical implement you see necessary.

What kind of stuff do you pick?

burger Anons, you know how annoying as FUCK it is to ship handguns, due to how you have to drop it off at a UPS distribution center since USPS won't take em because of some weird ancient reg?
Well, not anymore!

It'd be very nice if next time I need to ship a handgun for repair (hopefully never but lemons happen) it didn't cost stupid money, but to be clear USPS isn't under the DoJ and that letter by itself doesn't do any instant change. DeJoy may well go along with it, though since it'd be directly and unilaterally violating the law it'd probably go to court. If the DoJ's interpretation is correct then it'd be struck down, but just saying it could be awhile. Or maybe we get lucky and it's quick, but this isn't like some of the moves made.
>>
>>64760858
I mean ship handguns as a random non-FFL to a FFL, anon. That's the point of this thread. To celebrate how you can just use USPS now.

sorry if I wasn't clear :(

fun fact you can perfectly legal to mail long guns to someone in a different state if it's in 'your name'. Like if you intend to pick them up at his house (unopened) to go hunting in their state or whatnot.

I just got a high paying job and in celebration I'm going to update my arsenal. Pls give input on my choices for these roles and let me know if there's something better:

>Ruger SFAR as main DMR rifle, open to other short receiver .308 ARs or a .308 bullpup
>M&P9 or 10mm Witness as handgun, I do live in grizzly country and this will be my primary HD/clearing gun
>Kel Tec RDB as building clearing/HD rifle
>KSG as HD shotgun
>Mossberg Aftershock as drone gun to be worn on a scabbard, can also double as bear gun with slugs
>300WM rifle as sniper (undecided but either a cheapo Savage bolty or go all in and get a Desert Tech SRS for $6k)

Already have my carry guns set and most of the common rifles for range funs but want specific ones that best fill those roles. What are your go-to's?

>KSG as HD shotgun

Smith & Wesson one.

>M&P9 or 10mm

Ruger 10mm levergun's fun, for full anti-ursine mode.

>RDB

Desert Tech WLVRN caliber swap convenience is more regretful purchase proof and could sub in for the .308 below.

>SFAR as main DMR
>other short receiver .308 AR

You have a moderately sized military force and you have to deal with several hundred of these things. Here’s what you gotta remember about them:
>Nearly immortal, body can be damaged but the only thing that can kill them is fire
>sever a limb and it will keep coming after you
>burning them isn’t advised because the gasses inside will reanimate any corpses around them, including animals
>They do feel pain, from injury and their rotting bodies
>eating brains relieves said pain
>they’re very smart, able to fake calls for backup and set up ambushes
>speed depends on the state of decay, fresher corpses run like a human
>nuking them would kill them, but it would spread the trioxin gas further and make a bigger outbreak in the end
Well, /k/? You gotta get creative with this one.

In ROTLD2 the military gets massacred in their ground operation. There's a scene with zombies riding around in an APC playing with their mounted turret while another is chowing down on a soldier's brain beside him.
>>
>>64760444
The threat of the Romero zombies was always that everyone was already "infected" (I say this in air quotes because it was never clear if the zombies were really sci-fi zombies from a disease or radiation or if there was something supernatural going on) and would reanimate unless their brains get blown out, a concept taken wholesale on the tin by Walking Dead.
Even if the military wipes out every single zombie that raises initially, society breaks down from the paranoia of the realization that eventually, they'll all turn. This is also why paranoia and betrayal is a central theme to all the zombie movies Romero worked on.

Download Inkscape and start making some vector images. Get the Inkstitch plugin and convert them to embroidery files. Run simulations to see how things work and learn what tweaks you need. Pick up a used embroidery machine and a 64 pack of thread to start playing around.
For making one offs and small scale it works okay. Takes me about 15 minutes and ~5 thread changes to make a 3" round.
