its not.

30 carbine is much cheaper to manufacture in long term, large scale operations.
>>
>>64756458
I don't see it being a risk, I think AR pistols firing 30 carbine would sell like hot cakes.

Lighter, shorter overall length, less wasted money on unused gunpowder (or specialty fast-burn rounds). If you wanted to hype-up the tactical applications, just give it a threaded barrel and let a few of those cosplaying guntubers test/review it and have Magpul design some magazines for it. But really, a bone-stock AR pistol firing 30 carbine would be great for home defense or keeping the peace. It's not like the King of Kenosha had to engage with armored enemies or people even 100 yards away or through some long distance scope, most civilian engagements are well under 150 yards.

The 16" rifle would be great too, one of the .223/5.56's requirements was that it would have comparable wounding ability to the M1 Carbine. Just seems kinda weird to me that the quintessential "civilian carbine" doesn't even have a variant which fires the carbine round.
>>
>>64757165
>I think AR pistols firing 30 carbine would sell like hot cakes.
well you are the only one that thinks that.
theres no demand for 30 carbine nobody wants it unless they are trying to feed an m1. other 30 carbine guns have existed and all were unsuccessful. nobody will buy it just cause its 30 carbine.

>>
I need some comparison breakdowns.
>ammo cost per shot
>external ballistics at different barrel lengths of velocity and bullet drop
>wounding and suitability for hunting or defense
>notable design advantages such as magazine capacity, lighter barrels, etc.

Our perfect time to knife Russia directly in the face is NOW. Total VuVuZela the whole fuckin government. Pull off the Big Snatch. And when it inevitably works... fax pictures of Trump's balls across the earth.

Committment to anti-russian tactical answers is the same as china and every loudmouth shit hole we hate. Because we smashed russian systems multiple times over now, it's plain continental china is incapable of stopping anything the US does.

one day in 2022 the german government woke up and they realized that their fantasy of peace in europe was just it, a fantasy
they realized they need an exo atmospheric air defense system now

it took israel a decade to develop the arrow 3, and it was not built from nothing. it rests on the arrow 2 and arrow 1 programs, which themselves took another decade (not to mention the work on the radars) germany does not have that experience.

so let's follow these two options
spend at least a decade developing such a system, with the risk that it fails or is late, and then spend several more years setting up and ramping up production.
or buy a system that already exists, has been proven in combat, and can be delivered almost immediately from israel as a stopgap while local industry sets up local production under license

which makes more sense?

>Today
>People lament that the f22 is underutilized as it never gets any engagements

The F-35 prototype was inferior than the F-22.
But then after many changes, the final product is way superior than the F-22.
>>
The F-35 is much more advanced, the technology is superior.

The same way the m-4 sherman began as a inferior tank when compared to even the Panzer III.
The late version of the m-4 sherman was better than the king tigers.

F-35 will work the same way. It will keep getting updates, and getting better.
>>
>>64754288
>Likewise, the F47 shouldn't exist,
I am becoming convinced that the Trump battleship is actually a good idea because how how many morons hate it. Should be nuclear though.
>>
>>64755975
And the F-22 and F-35 can both do that and will continue to be able to do that for the foreseeable future. If chang's implessive "sixth" gens somehow manage to come within a fraction of the F-35's capabilities, the Air Force could just load up a couple of B-21s full of AIM-174s and AIM-260s and delete the entire PLAAF, opening the door for F-35s and F-22s to come in and clean up what's left.

This is a PSA that swapping the DAO hammer on an Enfield No2 Mk1, Mk1*, or Mk1** with a spurred one works perfectly fine.

Junji Ito
An artist with a gifted intellect that is capable of attuning to the most ridiculous yet primal horrors and giving them compelling form on the page. My opinion. YMMV.
Anon mentioned an orca with an exoskeleton killing Jeets. It made me think of Ito's gashunk shark. And honestly, the idea of a beast as powerful and intelligent as the orca being able to operate unimpeded (even enhanced) on land is fucking terrifying on a very deep level. They're smart enough to use tools, lures, cooperative hunting techniques, language. The only reason they don't extinct everything on land (save elephants) through sheer superior intellect and power is because they're in the ocean.
Giving orcas an exoskeleton that would let them range freely on land... No. Just no.

Who would you consider to be "our actual enemies" if not Venezuela?

These sonic weapons have been discussed in the open media for a long time. I've never personally seen one but it stands to reason that if we can send sound and heat over long distances, we should also be able to send ultrasonic frequencies to induce vertigo too. Cuba has been alleged to use sonic weapons against USIC for a long time.

I think the operation to kidnap Maduro in and of itself was impressive. I don't see how it will translate into the US getting Venezuela's oil, which is unfortunate though.
