Any recommendations for a sub 500$ 357 or if no good options exist for that a 38 special with a 6 inch or possibly snubnose barrel? Looking for something fun and not crazy. Have a crapload of 357 and 38 ammo and only a single action to shoot it in.. fwiw not worried about 38+p. Since I load for 357 I really only load 38 for plinking….

I just got the email from them that it’s being shipped back today and will get here Friday. Says they replaced the crane, polished, and function/range tested it. Can’t wait to see how it looks and feels when it gets here.
>>
>>64753271
Damn man. Let us know how it turns out. The only gripe I had with mine was that it was a little rough feeling, and I solved that by taking the trigger mechanism apart and hitting all the sliding bits with 0000 steel wool.
>>
>>64757807
Yeah it was kinda like that when I bought it too, but I just slicked it up by opening it up and cleaning/oiling it first and then dry-firing it an untold billions of times while watching TV. I do that with every new revolver I buy, regardless of brand, because I’m too lazy to polish them.

what are some memory holed wars?
Did you know the US invaded the Dominican Republic in 1965 with around 22,500 troops, 100 M48 Pattons, over 1000 combat air sorties. There was heavy fighting where around 60 Marines and 82nd Airborne troops died with 400 wounded.

>>
>>64754533
Lack of pilots had forced the few available to work afterhours kek.
And they were lying their asses off with allocating kills as well. There was a day where over 100 hundred German pilots shot down 22 British planes in Africa - 17 kills were given to Hans-Joachim Marseille and 5 kills to the other 100 pilots. kek
A reminder that there is a serious lack of detailed statistics of German aircraft _losses_ during ww2 even (it was hot and they were having their asses beaten kek) - their claimed kills are pure fantasy.

>Best ace pilots in the world

German "aces" got their wings shooting down russians, they are the WW2 equivalent of those modern pilots who call themselves aces for splashing drones
>>
>>64754533
The Germans and the Japanese kept their best pilots on the front lines. The US rotated them home so they could train new pilots.

For self defense in a handgun? Yes.

For missile defense? It’s a bit lacking, but it can work.
>>
>>64757769
correct
>>
>>64757769
The bore is roughly the same size for both, but the .22lr cartridge is far smaller than .223. 9mm and .380 are identical in all aspects except for 2mm of case length, which mostly just serves to prevent accidentally chambering the hotter 9mm loads in a .380 handgun, most of which are straight blowback.

>John Moses Browning got everything right with .380 acp, .32 acp, .45 acp and .38 super
He didn't make .38 Super. He made .38 ACP to be weak because he liked low-recoil rounds, and after he died, Colt upgraded .38 ACP to .38 Super so they could get an extra 200 fps.

The ziggers have come up with another brilliant plan to counter drones, walking tents! Guessing mostly for night ops to reduce thermal signature? Because these are definitely not good for day time at least. Though it'd be hilarious to see them try assaulting with these fucking things on. What will the ziggers dream up next to deal with thermal cams?

I want a survival drilling pistol with the following layout. The top to barrels are side by side: one is .357 Maximum (so it will also chamber .357 Mag and .38 Special) and the other is .410/.45. below that is a .22LR barrel that can be loaded single shot or fed from a magazine in the grip. The three barrel group breaks together as you would expect, and the .22LR barrel uses the same mechanism from the Beretta Bobcat to let it have a tilting barrel while still feeding from a magazine.

The barrels should be 6" long to allow hunting with it in states that require that sort of thing, and the magazine for the .22LR barrel should be 10 rounds (though more would be nice if it can be done reliably. I would also give it a small rail on the bottom for a light as well as a rail or mounting spot for an optic on top. You could also have different flip up iron sights for the different barrels.

Finally, I would sell this with a holster that features a flap and a spot to carry loose shells for the top barrels and an extra magazine for the .22lr barrel.

The only rule the council species have regarding genengineering is no giving yourself abilities your species doesn't already have(also no creating lifeforms whole cloth, excepting medigel because it's just too useful), you are free to juice yourself up Captain America style. I don't remember their being any such prohibitions against cybernetics, Shepard himself is part robot following the opening of ME2, and Joker even makes mention of medical exoskeletons.

It was never terrible, but even the patched in ending slides(not even Fallout style because the same ones play regardless of if you encountered or helped the characters depicted in them)only took it from bad to mediocre.

Any anons here ever been to ShootSmart? Its pretty much the only range I hear about in DFW, but they seem extremely expensive: Their prices put me off but their also the closest range to my neighborhood so their convenient...Would you say if I shoot at the minimum 2-3 times a month that a membership would be worth it? How much money would I realistically save? If you get their most expensive membership you get to shoot at the lanes for free and get a free FFL, which is tempting but I'm not sure if its worth it bros...

their normal prices are as follows
>Public Shooting Lane: $17
>Private Shooting Lane: $32
>FFL: $45
And that's not even counting everything else. Like I've seen Holosun Sights easily going for $400+ there. I think that they upcharge everything to get you to buy a membership, which is pretty scummy, but I am tempted I'm ngl.
>>
>>64757503
