>>64754587mindbroken
>>64754770Its a bot dont acknowledge it. Neat gun op
It's a good thing we don't live in the timeline where China rescued my favorite gun from being slavshit or I'd have to call them my spiritual brethren during the next war.
Truthpill me on 5.7. Is it good? Is it bad? What's the use case? Are the guns good? Is the ammo good? Is it really more lethal than 9mm? I don't care about the price.
Truthpill is that it’s a decent round, but all the good/fun ammo is restricted for badgeniggers or the military. It would be the uncontested king of the SMG/PDW/PCC category if we could get the good ammo easily and readily.
>>64755034It's design imperative of giving rear echelon troops capability against 80s soviet body armor is not applicable due to improvements in armor and lack of civvy ap ammo. The one real world shooting, the army base Islamic traitor, seems to show great terminal effect. The gun tubers seems to show shitty terminal effect. Whatever your use case is, there is probably a better option. That said I have the keltec r50 I got for half price and it love it. 50 rounds of fast as fuck mouse terds out of a compact 16" barrel.
>>64755034The cartridge is a half baked solution to a contract they thought nobody else would bid for and it feels "unfinished" like they got 70% of the way through development and rushed the final product. Nearly all the guns chambered in it are similarly afflicted. However, it's still going to kill stuff, and its flat ballistic arc/near zero recoil/extremely high capacity all mean you'll be likely to get the hits. P90 magazines are also shockingly cheap and reliable if you get a gun that uses them. Fiocchi doesn't work in everything but their bulk FMJ is like $0.37, which is nice. Overall like 6/10 I guess?
>>64755034IF 9mmlets are to be believed and low recoil, shot placement, and follow up shots are all that matters for handguns then it and .30 super carry mog it into oblivion and 9mms only saving grace is price(irrelevent if youre not poor) and platform availability. Both beat it on capacity and recoil. .22 wmr would be king if not for rimfire, but rimfire has come a long way and its also pretty cheap these days
>20 years ago>People constantly felate the F22, claiming its the plane version of jesus.>Constantly disparage the F35 saying its a an expensive boondongle that can't fight and is shit and is worse in every way to the f22 and they should have just made more f22s instead of axing the program>Today>People lament that the f22 is underutilized as it never gets any engagements>Still question the value of F35 despite its multiple successes in infiltrating enemy held airspace and leading ground attack missions in heavily defended adversary airspace. Its time you admit that F35 is the superior aircraft.
>>64754260the f22's value is that if we ever go to war with a country that we gave f-35s we can easily defeat them in dogfights
>>64754510this is so retarded and brown, it's like saying the rafale could win a F22 duel because it did during a meeting when in reality it would eat an aim260 guided by a ship or an AWAC before even spotting the thing>t. French
>>64754260I don't think anyone said the F-35 was shit, it has problems and there's things it can't do but at least to me it was always clearly a capable aircraft. The problem is the fucking cost, which was and remains way too fucking much for what it is, and the insanely long development time. It's not a waste of money because it's bad, it's a waste of money because the DoD is absolutely fucking whipped by the military-industrial complex and will happily pay daddy Lockheed and uncle Martin however many kerjillion burgers they demand over however many years they stall for. And it happened again with the fucking NGSW program and the absolute travesty that is the Sig Saar XM7. If you live in America and pay taxes you should be pissed the fuck off by that, because they're wasting YOUR money.
>>64754981f35 is stealthier and all around more capable than the Unc22
>>64754260Nobody who knows what they're talking about doubts either plane you moron.
>*shits up gun culture forever*
>>64747549last i checked there's only a map for like 3 of the zones and they're all from the original unexpanded forms of the areas
>>64748109just play SPT. its cheaper and moddable
>>64754311It would have been amazing if they'd just put in some Uzis and Mac-10's and .38 revolvers, vanilla M-16s, and maybe licenced some music of the period. Instead, it was just Call of Duty with more smoking in the cut scenes.
>>64754874They could have put in some of the more out-there prototypes of the era if nothing else, but I can only conclude nobody involved was /k/ enough to know or care
>>64748072I am highly bothered that he does not check the corners of the first room entered. There's a lot more that bothers me, but that's the biggest.
I was reading about this guy and he had over 350+ kills. Why does this make me jealous?
>>64752296why are all the lands from where the germans were driven out amongthe poorshits of Europe today while the germans are still the richest?why are all those poorshits from the former gaerman lands going to germany to clean toilets, be whores or plumbers?may it be that once the productive leading german population was gone, the slavs went full zimabwe?
the slav cope in her is strong.
>>64751731>they stockpiled enough petroleum etc to last them 2 actual years in WW2 before the war began, don't give me that bullshitFact check: fake news!Germany started war with 500K tons stockpiles of avgas, producing 900K per year in 1940 (7 month of production stockpiles). Peak production was 2400K tons in 1944.For comparison US produced annualy 30000K tons in 1945 (12 times more).
>>64752600According to Soveits themselves they had in June 1941 23000 tanks in military service. 18000 of them of outdated models (T-26, BT). You wouldn't find any T-26 and BT in Soviet ranks in 1942.
>>64755026>why are all the lands from where the germans were driven out among the poorshits of Europe todayRaped by Russians>while the germans are still the richest?Propped up by Americans as a bufferSame reason East Germany is STILL much less rich than West, while being full of Germans

>>64752872>Not waiting until 2039 to start talking about WW2>Not waiting until 2050 to start talking about the Korean War>Won't wait until 2060s to do a Vietnam War Special
>>64753397Which would you recommend in particular?
Writefag here, I’m looking for real “out there” firearms that are advanced looking but not too impractical for my sci-fi setting.
>>64754523>so was the SteyrNot the AUG though, which meets and exceeds the m16
>>64754907We used a century old gunAnd if you think about thirdies (like the people on anons shithole planets) have used shit like martini Henry's and even jezails and other muzzle loaders into the 21st century
The OTS-38 revolver comes with a built in laser sight and fires a cartridge that integrally suppresses itself, because why the hell not?
>>64754907There are a bunch of reasons.>what they brought >what they can build>what they're ALLOWED I have a hombrew Traveler setting called Shattered Stars:Final Frontline where the Terran Hegemony (spess UN/NATO in spessss) where military technology is kept under STRICT control, the real good shit (powered armor, railguns, plasma weapons, laser weapons, particle beams, manpack hyper velocity missiles) are a Hegemony thing only, trying to possess, manufacture, or buy these items are a great way to get glassed from orbit.
Drone killer
Whats the realistic largest object you can camo from Air surveilance?
>>64752420Muh dik
>>64753379OP clearly said the largest, not the smallest, anon.
>>64753044Yeah the story behind it is interesting. An American was working in Slovakia and found a hobo sleeping inside the statue at a junkyard. He liked it because the artist actually made it slightly out of spec by including guns and bayonets on it (see bottom right). Lenin was supposed to be presented in art as an intellectual, not a warmonger. He bought it and had it shipped home so he could use it as a curio in front of a restaurant he was going to open. Sadly he died soon after this and Lenin never got to promote a diner. The family tried to sell it to a foundry but they declined and so it went up in the hopes that somebody would buy it. It's still for sale, so if anyone really hates Lenin, just buy it and turn it into Funko pops or something. It's not even that expensive, like $250k.
>>64754031>purchase home on decently-large tract of land>purchase Lenin statute>place Lenin statute in front yard>make a little park around it, with several flag poles in a semi-circle behind it>make sure the central and tallest pole is flying the Stars and Stripes>make sure one of the other poles is flying the Confederate battle flag>leave all future visitors and deliverymen forever mystified by your political leanings
>>64754031His business plan was conceptually flawed. People go to restaurants in order to actually eat.
Wouldn't people just recognize they're soldiers just by their pants, shoes, groups, muscular build, where they came from and political situation?
>>64752335Any chance is better than no chance. People will do anything in desperation, fleeing capture or execution will lead most people to try anything to up their chances of escape.
>>64753175Milsurp having is a based tradition and a phase that old boys should go through. Sperging out over paterns is a very /k/ thing, you'll fit right in. Welcome.
>>64754175>Old boysAll boys
>>64754175>Sperging out over patterns is a /k/ thingPerfect. Found Finnish M05 Snow that is a one-off reproduction jacket that seems my size. Might just get that to start with. No idea what I'll do for pants but I wish you didn't have to be a soldier to legally own clothes that cheap and that good. It's just not fair.
>>64753175>Since apparently asking about military uniforms is ok on /k/, can I get away with making a threadThere is nearly always a camo/uniform/milsurp thread up on /k/ on any given day, just post there unless you're opening a big topic that isn't covered.I think there's usually a camo general or something that hunters like to chat in.

How effective are the Japanese Self Defense Forces? Could they be as bad ass as the Imperial Japanese Army? How do they stack up to the PLA, Russian or Western armies if Japanese is allowed to fully re-arm?
no, deibido-kun from the ohio prefecture, they are gay and lame and will most likely get swatted down like flies in any real war scenario
>>64755064Explain. Why so?
>>64755067because japan is gay and lame
>>64755069Why? You sound ignorant because you're just saying dumb shit with no explanation to back it up FAGGOT

>>64754707>DDM5This one's looking good. Any recommendations for a short receiver one? Only other ones I know of are the POF and DPMS gen 2.
>>64754906Yeah CB in order to spend on ar15 accessories that I fund with credit card and repay with the good boy points thus continuing the cycle until I buy myself a toy like a new clitty cage.
what's up my fellow /k/ube enjoyers, I have a 7.5" AR pistol that my grandpa was attempting to build with a polymer lower, I changed to an aluminum lower and got a MWI handguard to replace the china handguard it had, I took it out to test it and it does go bang, but it takes the next round and shlams that bitch into the roof of the receiver... what causes that? wrong buffer weight/spring? it strips a round but just absolutely jams the fuck out of it diagonally in the receiver.
