That's a decent drawing of a 50.00 FAL, you simply move it up off safe with the thumb of your right hand. Selecting auto takes a more dedicated action, to rotate the selector clockwise the near 180 degrees from the "safe" setting..
>>
>>64771832
Correction, it's "downward" off safe, then continues 180 to auto.

No, retard; RE6 was a good game held back from being great by constant QTEs and an insistence on Co-op (though I have some friends that loved the latter.)

And RE4 was so fuckin good, a Remake couldn't fuck it up. Everything wrong with Modern RE comes from them looking at the objective masterpiece that is RE4 and steering in literally any other direction, believing they have better ideas about what the franchise can be (mostly the obsession with co-op followed by the sudden inexplicable idea that Resident Evil is "scary" and needed some first person run-and-hide slop to revitalize the franchise.)

Just make a spiritual successor to RE4 (Re5 was NOT this ). That's it. That's ALL they have to do. RE's always been about unreasonably handsome/beautiful people in tactical gear fighting monsters with conventional ammo, from the start. Vulnerable player characters like Grace or Ethan need not apply.

I never understood why there are a sizeable minority who wants RE to be horror when the first game involved elite police commandos and all of the official media portrays all of the known protagonists as one army action heroes.

Even in 2 you play as a rookie cop and the little sister of the other guy you play in the first game who is also adept in using weapons.

You are indeed showing two long-stroke pistons, one with a rotating bolt like on the Garand, and one with a tilting bolt like on the Zb.26.

Again, long-stroke gas pistons predate the AK, Stg, and Zb.26.

Grenade launching was an excellent idea for the time, and the Warsaw Pact were silly for not prioritizing it more.
Still, it feels so damn good to rock a loaded magazine into a rifle, to then hit the release and have it load itself.

>Grenade launching was an excellent idea for the time
I feel it still is a good concept. People, vehicles, and some fortifications are still vulnerable to explosives in the 21st century as they were in the 20th. Of course there's been more advancements in armor since then, but it's still a half-decent idea.
>it feels so damn good to rock a loaded magazine into a rifle, to then hit the release and have it load itself.
Agreed.

Realistically, what firearm would you need to take down a rampaging Na'vi from the Avatar films? Nine feet of solid muscle and bone (reinforced with natural carbon fibre), extremely fast-moving and agile, fighting on their own turf with very short engagement distances? There's no way 5.56 mm would cut it, would 7.62mm be enough?

You've heard of FRTs, but what's a "super safety"?
>uses the safety to force the reset of the trigger
>allows for way more trigger options (you just have to trim two places)
>invented by Tim Hoffman (https://hoffmantactical.com)
>gifted to the world to freely 3D print
>enterprising people now selling super safeties made of steel (recommend at least 4140)
>cheaper than an FRT ($90-$150)
>originally a 3-position cross-bolt safety
>left is safe, right is semi, middle is super
>3-position 90° super safety selectors are now available

Huh, never knew such a thing existed. The safety is a little different though so I'm not sure what you'd have to change to make it work, of if you'd need a whole new design.

I posted about this a long time ago, the day I found these magazines. A shitload of old hunting mags going back to 1980 (ignore the CDs and games). I'd love to scan and share them, but all my research comes up at the possibility of copyright rape. Is there some way to do this that I'm missing? I don't want these to slowly turn to dust in my entertainment center

I should also say that if you PURCHASE something like a demilled parts kit from another individual that includes receiver components, and then weld those into a new receiver, that absolves you of any of that bullshit.
The differentiation is in that that weapon was initially destroyed for the expressed purpose of selling it as a parts kit, and not for the manufacturer of a new firearm.

Did Americans fight when tens of millions fled their cities for "good schools" and "nice communities"
>>
>>64772182
Yes. White flight happened because whites dug into their neighborhoods in the city which resulted in blacks burning down huge sections of black ghettos. Once that happened people realized the cities were shitholes that could kick off at anytime so people moved away to the burbs and surrendered the cities to the blacks. Your version of history is ass backwards. If whites would have fled blacks wouldn't have burnt down the cities.

T. Family survived the Baltimore "riots" of 68.
