I've been reading up on these fascinating weapons and couldn't help developing a curiosity about them.1, Are incendiary weapons actually useful or it's just fuck you collateral damage? We no longer use highly flammable wood for anything important anymore.2, Do they work like in my tacticool games of Counter Strike or are they different? Got to shoot my tavor 7 a fair bit on sunday. Hadn't shot it much since I got it, and made the mistake of shooting it with the stock buttpad (flat plastic) and then picking up my buddies ultralight AR right after.it wasn't as bad as I remember, and I added the manticore squishy buttpad to it. One of my notable achievements is the "and my ankles too", a few years ago, my battalion was going into the field for some training, well we started with what was supposed to be a 14 mile pack. With my med bag on top of everything else on the packing list my gear was approaching 90lbs. Well they also messed up the route so it actually ended up being closer to 22 miles. We stepped off shortly after midnight and didn't get to our rally point until like 9AM. By the morning we had so many heat casualties, good times. Also, while I was TAD with some reserve artillery unit they let me run the gauntlet and shoot a M777, it was pretty fun.
