First footage of the Sino Q-ship/arsenal ship leaving port for sea trials. Are they really serious with this?

People forget that playing nice comes from the fact that everyone's tried playing rough and made the choice not to again, within reason.
For that matter I think people sometimes forget that trying to be 'nice' is sometimes also just a more pragmatic way to wage war. Treat POWs nice, people are more likely to surrender. Try to avoid murdering every civilian you see, less animosity if you have to occupy territory or normalise relations post-war. A lot of people, including in the west for that matter, tend to mistake being quick to anger and cruel in that anger for being strong.

Thirdies always fuck around and find out the US is a bottomless well of violence. We don't have a "too expensive". Wipe out one american marine squad and suddenly the public is "discussing the role of nuclear weapons".
>>
>>64694520
>WE GONNA NUKES
If Russia is any measure of it, you are going to do exactly nothing.

The US could go "Flying Tigers" on your asses that you would just denounce it, claim you are failing to take Taiwan because you are fighting the whole "Collective West" + Japan and whoever would happily just send care packages then do nothing against any of them except vaguely threatening gestures like cruising a boat or flying drones or some shit into their territory.

I'm even sure the US could actually sink a chinese boat in Taiwan's waters and Beijing would just make a strongly worded letter at the UN while also telling us that "this is the last red line !"

Pistol related but last question thread died a while ago. Are all 1911 .45 barrels interchangeable with all other 1911 models? I've got a Kimber and want a threaded barrel for it and I'm wondering if I should just get a Kimber barrel for it.

I'm half-way there with one 500. But the more I look at the process, the more a DP12 looks cost-effective.

Might as well save for DP12 ...

Thanks bud, I appreciate the response. I want to make a mini version of it using a pistol length 10/22 barrel with a can.
I figured i could move the buttstock in a bit but didn't think about the folding mechanism. I thought i could just drill another hole. Thanks for the info.

I guess you don't see people talking about other niche metal mouseguns like the baby eagle or the Rohrbaugh/Remington guns

Scrambling in peacetime is just showing the other guy you can detect and intercept them, you don't need to be armed to do that job.

True, but I still see not wanting to rack up any additional hours and risk if you don't have to being a good enough reason to leave them off if it's a glorified bear intercept.

Israel sells to everyone save for Muslims

What's America gonna do, tell Israel to not sell and not make shekels?
>>

They've sold weapons to Morocco and Azerbaijan, off the top of my head. I'm pretty sure they have some deals lined up with UAE and some of the stans, too.

Yes. America has done this many times in the past.

occasionally they do
for example the time when they sold harops to china
the US told them to stop and they did
now china has a domestic copy of that drone instead
>>

Israel and France historically don't give a shit what other western nations are doing and will sell their wunderwaffe to thirdie shitholes provided they aren't muslim thirdie shitholes.

The MOD of Taiwan released a chart detailing each threat from PLA's long range strikes and how to deal with them. How accurate and effective is this chart? Could Ukraine take one notes that could help them against Russian Strikes?

>>
>>64694177
PLAAF fast movers are in row 3
>>
>>64694103
Why do ballistic missiles appear in 3 different rows?
>>
It's literally from 2022 chink
>>
>>64694397
'cause China got tons of those and they can be used against different targets for different aims.

In row 1, the aim is to strike fast against the C4 to create as much confusion and delay as possible in Taiwan's coordinated reaction. Basically a case of "We are being attack ! What are the fucking orders ?"

In row 3, it's to target the infrastructure in a fast and brutal way, so that anything docked or on the tarmac is damaged and cannot be deployed, reducing the size of Taiwan's first line of defense.

In row 4, its to provide rapid reaction fire on Taiwan's airfields, artillery and AA batteries that are firing on paratroopers but that the rocket artillery cannot reach or that are too saturated in air defenses to be directly targeted. You just burry them under heavy payload then. It is a bit weird to do that when paratroopers are already there but I guess it's meant to provide direct support against whatever is putting an actual resistance.

Once beach heads have been established, starting row 5, the troops can guide strikes as needed until air defense is silent and PLAAF can just operate in total impunity.

This isn't unrealistic but one could argue the chinks will use the PLAAF aircraft earlier to drop cruise missiles as needed, unless their accuracy is crap without close range laser guidance from the ground.

Depends on the watch, though. It's one thing to wear a vintage Yachtmaster that nobody but other watch appreciators knows is worth $20,000 and it's another thing to wear a watch covered in platinum and rubies because you want everyone to know how much money you spent on your watch.

most over unders are retard priced because they need to regulate the barrels which involves a lot of labor and anyone buying an O/U, especially a 20 gauge O/U is already a special class of gun buyer because it's a shotgun and if they were price sensitive they would have bought a single shot or pump. most semi auto hunting rifles and shotguns are retardedly priced because if someone was price sensitive they would buy a pump, single shot or bolt. Same thing with lever guns, retard prices because someone who is price sensitive would buy a bolt
>>
>>64678926
You can get a Citori 725 O/U for this much money, a Citori 725 made by Miroku in Japan that is the absolute pinnacle of quality and craftsmanship
Ruger could not sell me one of these with a complimentary bag of crack their marketing team has been smoking when they decided to make and sell one of these for $3,299, and I'm sure it's GREAT crack.

So we are going to terraform the landscape of South East Asia with optic fiber too, then ?

Exactly this. Get a reproduction to learn on as it will work and not break the bank. Can always get the real deal later once you've familiarized yourself.
