>Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense reports that it has so far detected 89 Chinese military aircraft operating around the island Monday, 67 of which have entered the Taiwanese Air Defense Identification Zone, in addition to 14 naval vessels, 14 coast guard vessels, and four amphibious-landing ships, part of ongoing snap-military exercises by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Eastern Theater Command. Are those enough for a full scale invasion?:https://x.com/i/status/2005643762819821883

>>64689738>The US continues to have natural population increaseLetting in third world savages isn't natural population increase, and ironically doing so is discouraging a significant amount of actual Americans from supporting their government/enlisting/etc.Anyway I say we use the 44% as cannon fodder.
>>64691034*and doing so is ironically discouraging
>>64689738>The US continues to have natural population increaseTes, gen alpha is 80% brown though. The following generation, generation beta, will be 90% brown. F.ex at present, 22% of the children born in america are negroes or mulattoes and this trend has continously been increasing since 70 years. This natural population increase trough births and immigration will long term lead to America having a projected population of 500 million in 2050 and 1000 million by 2100. By 2100, China is expected to have 800 million, but more likely 600 million chinks. So America will pass China in total population around 2070 or so. Most of the new population acquired trough immigration will be sourced from the indian subcontinent which has a readily available massive reserve of english fluent skilled labor. No one knows how many indians there are in India, as the indian census intentionally fudges numbers downward to give the illusion that western funded population control program works, so the money keeps flowing. Officially its 1400 million but inofficially its closer to 2000 million. Shifting a couple of hundred million indians to America would just take a decade, and greatly boost property prices and rental levels, leading to massive wealth creation for anyone holding stocks. The availability of skilled low cost indian labour would also greatly boost american reindustrialization enabling America to outproduce China.
>>64691554unfortunately for china, its population is 100% chinese.
I'll start; Mossberg Patriot Everyone shit talked this rifle even though it's perfectly functional, accurate and one of the better looking budget guns
no one talks about the patriot. you made this thread specifically to get people to say nice things about your new gun.
>>64691500Not new, I bought it a few years ago but didn't bother to shoot it at longer range or to hunt with it, saw a ton of reviews basically saying it's a piece of shit, decided to take it out to a real range just to see how bad it is and realized it's really not bad at all. Though I live in Europe so exports could have been better than those left in the US, no idea
>>64691490Isn't the patriot notoriously shit? There's literally a boomer joke that goes "my opinion of mossberg rifles is they make great shotguns".
>>64691520The mag looks like it's gonna fall apart and the bolt is wobbly when open, that's all negatives I can name. I never failed to load a round so I guess it's only annoying if you're a perfectionist
>>64691500>no one talks about the patriotthis. I forgot it even existed.
Have you ever had people bother you for shooting guns outside of ranges? I'm thinking hunting, shooting on public land, shooting in your backyard, etc.How did it go?
>>64690926Respect their pronouns.>>64690905Some pitbulls rushed me as walking around the block. Legit fighting dogs with ears cut and everything. Shot the shitbulls all within a foot of me. Cops were called. Cops were not amused. Ruled a self defense situation when sgt came out and gave me my pistol back.I'm tempted to drive around at night with thermals shooting stray shitbulls with a silenced pellet rifle to be proactive rather than reactive.
>>64690905No. I tested my FRT extensively in a nearby national forest and not a single soul came. I'm convinced that you could have a full scale firefight in the woods and so long as you're not, like, right inside a major city no one would even call the cops.
>>64691359>tempted to drive around at night with thermals shooting stray shitbulls with a silenced pellet rifle to be proactive rather than reactiveBased.
>>64690905I wouldn't say bothered but one time me and my buddy were doing some target practice on public hunting land which we thought was a-ok as long as we had the permits, there were a few hunting blinds set up so we thought it was fine. turns out there's laws about what you can and can't shoot in that particular little nook of the woods, this area being exclusively bow hunting (even though there were 12 gauge empties all over the place). Fortunately a guy who was coming out to hunt around dusk caught us before a game warden did and let us know the deal, said he was worried and ran home to grab his pistol before coming back out. We apologized and went on our way. Hunter was cool, told us he wouldn't say anything but we'd better scram in case someone else had called the fish cops.
>>64690905Shot on some land I thought was public, had a good time until some guy walked over the berm we were shooting at with his dog. He was a little weirded out, but not angry per se. He informed us that it wasn't legal to shoot there, and we double checked, and it wasn't. So we apologized and went our separate ways. On our way out, we walked by a bunch of hippies and girls with dyed hair who were smoking pot. One of them asked if we were going to shoot them, and we politely told them we weren't and went on our way. The whole situation was kind of weird because I've shot there before multiple times and there was never anybody else around, it was always empty, with spent shotgun casings everywhere. I always cleaned up my brass though.

>>64689092a bi-partisan bill was passed that limits US commitment to Europe to at least 76k men.
>>64689023LRHW is not really a particularly useful capability overall for the US Army honestly. It has good time to target because of the speed and quite a bit of range, but the warhead is basically just a bursting charge to scatter the pieces of the glide body over a tens of thousands of square feet area. It's only really going to be useful for soft targets like air defense radars, but it's also not going to be in production at a scale that makes it an operationally relevant capability to do that. It's worth stationing there solely to make monke ook about it but realistically it doesn't really make much difference either way until we can build them by the thousands

My great grandfather was a decorated officer in the US Airforce during the Korean War. My great uncle has a display case with his medals, and his service rifle, which is a select fire M2 Carbine. I haven't inspected it closely, so idk if it's functional or demilitarized. If it is functional idk if it registered or transferable.Has anyone heard of a scenario like this before? I can't find any examples online of an officer being given an M2 when they retired. I'm also certain that it is an M2, not an M1 Carbine. My great uncle plans to give me his guns, including that one at some point in the near future. Obviously I hope it's transferable, but I think that could only be the case if it was registered when he retired. I doubt that he submitted any paperwork for it later in his life, and I know that my great uncle never did.Any thoughts or advice?

was the P 26/40 comparable in performance and role to a Panzer IV or even a Panther?
I wish at least they'd use the CV tanks with AT rifles instead of machine guns. It would at least give them a little suspension of disbelief that they could kill tanks
>>64691336Couldn't the 8mm Breda legit deal with some of the light tanks and tankettes they thought it might face in 1940? I think it stood at least some chance against the likes of a Panzer I?
>>64691336they did. they used the solothurn on it. ironically, GuP shows it as well in the tankathlon, and that's where Anzio shines. they're crap in senshado because of the lack of heavy tanks, but under the 3 ton threshold they racked up quite a number of victories.
>>64691440I thought open-topped TDs, or equivalents thereof (weapons carriers etc.) were banned.
>>64691466that's merely because they're poorfags that couldn't get their hands on the original encased design with casemate. i guess since the performance was basically the same they were allowed to be cheap and just strap an AT onto the LMG designs
