Considering Indian Hindu rape rats breed like cockroaches and shit out 100,000 inbred little Hindu rattons every day? I would go with 100 just to be safe. But the real issue is what do we do with the other 50 million of them who have already left their containment zone and now infest white countries?

The Tau aren't even really space communist. It's more akin to Plato's Republic.
>>
>>64708868
you're either a lore-let or have not read platos republic and understood it.
The ethereals do not function in the way that plato describes the "benevolent king" (renamed to dictator because pol sci is gay) it's compared to communism because of how communism has ended up being in every modern extant example, a kleptocracy in everything but name and a brutal dictator where they have never won in a true democratic election.
The tau literally are supremacists of their own species, not to say in the scope of 40k that is necessarily wrong, but it denies the tau being anything close to a true platonic republic.

>The tau literally are supremacists of their own species
Eh, not really.

Sure the Ethereals are supreme over everyone else but they're the philosopher-kings, they're supposed to be in charge according to the system. The rest of the Tau don't really enjoy any superiority over non-Tau. Gue'vesa and other auxililaries are able to rise to the highest ranks that any non-Ethereal Tau can get to and frequently do. The Caste system that's employed is, outside of the Philospher-King Ethereals, a vertical caste system, not a horizontal one, the warriors, workers, merchants, and pilots are equals to each other and have their own meritocratic ranking system within their castes.

You shouldn't be chasing for spec values but they do exist and if you wanted to know what "better spec" values are there's a way to know which unit is desirable over another.
Most retailers won't post this info as they build NVDs to order, first come first serve, and depending on their grading scale of high, mid, low tier it may differ from retailers. If a retailer offer a “ready to ship” fully built units they will list the spec values. Hand select is an option from retailers that will try to match to your spec requirements.

the main reason for making the engine intake asymmetric was their plas to turn this plane into a kind of mini-A10 CAS plane with a 25mm Gatling cannon with a large magazine on the right hand side of the fuselage (so the propellant gases wouldnt choke the engine). The cannon doesnt seem to be installed here. I dont know if there even existed a prototype with the cannon installed.

Is it a helical "mag" or more like a belt box? I remember there was a LMG-like feed tray you need to open to reload it, and I suppose one way to make a reliable helical mag would be to just... not make it a mag at all, but a cylindrical belt box.
Also, for me, it's the OG KZ1 version with the rectangular silhouette and uncomfortably low integrated optic.

Boring topic but I'm finally happy with what I've cobbled together from different components I've acquired over the years. Covers 5.56, 7.62, and 40mm bores.

I'm a milfag who works for a living so no 9mm handgun for me. Does double duty for both my personal rifle and my issued weapons.

>1. Repurposed Otis 5.56/9mm Defender cleaning kit pouch
Not the only thing that'll work, but I like that it clamshells open. Got it as a gift. I pulled most of the extra shit out of it because having pull through cables and bore snakes in addition to a full on sectional cleaning rod is just redundant. Use one or the other.

>2. Two rags
Just a cut up t shirt. One for wiping shit off with, one for laying small parts on. PSA: You can, in fact, wash these every once in a while.

>3. Otis stiff bristle brush
Have gone back and forth on carrying a brass one too but I've either never needed it or the shit was baked on so hard (M240 gas plug) I had to use a scraper.

>4. Plastic pick
For all the things a long, slim, pointy object is good for when trying to clean tight spaces.

Now that the Chink chimpout over the $11B Taiwan weapons deal and most recent numbers print from their imploding economy has wrapped up, I want to tally some numbers for the 'explicitly presented as the largest-ever military exercise around Taiwan'.
This exercise was also explicitly stated as a blockade exercise vs the strike exercises of 2024.
Taiwanese sources have reported that
>6:00 a.m. Dec 29 - 6:00 a.m. Dec 30, 130 PLA aircraft detected. 14 PLAN warships + 14 CCG vessels.
>6:00 a.m. Dec 30 – 6:00 a.m. Dec 31 Aircraft: 77 PLA aircraft detected. 17 PLAN warships + 8 CCG vessels.
What's so damming to me is that the area of operations for the exercises were 2x larger than that of the 2024, and 3x that of the 2022 Pelosi chimpout. Yet there were less aircraft than in 2024, 130 in a single day vs 150 in a single day. The sorties also started slow, taking till the mid afternoon to get to peak detection rates as per Taiwan MOD. So this is where I really get to the main bit. A blockade requires substantially more sorties, I'm talking 48 sorties just to get 8 planes on CAP for 24h. Yet the PLA did only 130 in a day, barely enough for a dozen planes to be on 24h CAP. There's just no excuse. You NEED to have CAP or else US and Jap planes can just sneak in and rape you. The second day is so pathetically bad with 77 aircraft so I don't even wanna talk about it, just assume it's 2x worse.

So you've got what is
>supposed to be the biggest exercise ever
>covering an area 2x bigger than previous ones
>supposedly have 1600 aircraft stationed east of Beijing
>yet can only muster up 130 sorties 6 hours later
Implessive. My theory is that the PLA airforce not only has a low readiness, but the logistics are so fucked that they actually can't turn around airplanes fast enough with things as basic as fuel.

I once met a Congolese warlord, when I was a naive young man. I had signed up for an aid program and ended up spending three weeks on a malaria ridden ferry.

The brown stinking waters of the Congo and the persistent heat drove even the locals mad. I'd like to say it was something like the heart of darkness or a bit like that time Anthony Bourdain explored the Congo. It wasn't anything like either. It was just a long, sad expanse. Natives squatted on the sides of the river and stared as you passed by. Occasionally in the distance you'd see curling smoke past the tops of the jungle and wonder why. Other times you could taste in the chemical runoff from cobalt mines deep in your nostrils.

Eventually we ended up about fifty miles west of gonna, and eventually the local Tutsi warlord learned that white men were giving out medicine. Our conversation with him was passed in equal parts Swahili, Pidgin French and even Classical Arabic thanks to a local Imam. His grandfather was a Simba rebel, his father a Maoist, and he knew no creed besides the almighty dollar. He was charismatic, and had a deep laugh. But there was something lacking in his eyes. When he left, he carried off a daughter from the village who was never seen again.

I'm reminded of this, because even that deep into the Congo, he was whiter than >>64708799

I can't help but think this would be a total nothingburger if it actually happened. The USS Cole was bombed by Yemenis in 2000, and the 18 US deaths in Mogadishu was only 7 years earlier.

The Department of Defense would take one look at

>three Marines killed

deem Childers' actions to have been 100% justified, and give him a medal and a promotion to brigadier general. If he would have taken flak for anything, it would have been not ordering his men to open fire after the first Marine was killed.

The premise of this movie is so fucking stupid it's laughable and as you pointed out, hundreds of civilians (possibly in excess of 1,000) were killed in the Battle of Mogadishu and absolutely no one gave a shit about them.

>>64704280

You realize that Benghazi isn't home to the US Embassy right? Stevens was at some CIA glownigger compound that wasn't adequately guarded or reinforced to attack.
>>
>>64709009
>>64708770
This is a bit of insider knowledge. Every embassy and consulate has their own challenge coin. No, not the shit in the gift shop. The 'official' one and the Marine Detach is in charge of it. While officially available to anyone, if just anyone tries to buy one they will always be 'out'. Unless you are permanent party, on the DV list or on the cool guy VAR, they basically aren't selling them to you. Because if you look on ebay, people sell them for outrageous amounts because of the limited supply and the fact they change the coin every time the ambassador changes so they are rare and elusive items that some people catch the bug for collecting. So unless you are part of this world, you aren't getting one.

And yes, they are fucking cash only. American greenbacks, not the shitty local currency.

Was Flak useless or just a bad choose against bombers? The window to shoot them was tiny and the fragmentation radius was too small, it need almost a direct hit with time or proximity fuse.

It only make sense when you don't have fuel and aluminium for your interceptor planes.

There is a reason why the Allies didn't deploy the V/T fuze in Europe. Had ONE dud fell in the hands of the Germans, it would have taken them like 10 seconds to reverse engineer the thing and deploy it in the 88 and 127, in which they would have slayed Allied bombing.
>>
>>64708634
They would may have reverse engineered it, but they wouldn't have built it in meaningful numbers.

Hitler would dismiss it as jew science and focused on making a loki inspired sword wielding mech instead (that never saw the light of day), and those shells that were made would end up malfunctioning and killing german civilians after causing a mild famine locally through resource appropriation to produce them
>>
>>64708642
Hate to say you're probably right... unless Speer found it and took credit for it.
>>
>>64705283
There wasn't a better option, you can't have aircraft waiting to scramble because before long range radars they couldn't climb fast enough to intercept bombers before the bombs have already dropped. You can't have fighters always in the air because engine maintenance requirements would cripple your readiness rates.
Flak wasn't super effective but there wasn't a better option ready to be deployed at scale, much like shotguns being issued for drones today.
>>
>>64708427
To some degree it was another case of 'Germany builds something in 1943 so that it can be developed into a future weapon system sometime between 1957 and 1975'

But the USAAF actually decided to research, develop and install jamming equipment to jam the radio control channels of the SAMs. . . and I guess they wouldn't have gone to the lengths of finding out how the missile was controlled, how to jam that control link and then install the equipment to actually do this on the bombers if the missiles were propaganda wunderwaffen for the newsreels.

AFAIK the big problem for the missiles was fuzing and terminal accuracy, so it was really only good if fired into a combat box.
I've also seen German calculations that point out how these missiles were way more efficient at delivering explosives close enough to the bombers to deal damage.

They also stated one missile battery per X (forgot how many exactly) gun batteries would increase the threat to bombers noticeably, pointed out how the missile battery could cover a larger area, etc.
But I cannot say if this was somebody writing reports to avoid being sent to the front.

It's almost time for $0 tax stamps. You can finally, legally, have fun. Buy a $400 P1S from Bambu, some Pa6-cf filament from polymaker, and get to work.

Some 3dp2a guys released the FTN 5.0 suppressors recently. There are suppressors for pistols, pcc's, and rifles. Let's talk about the last one.

To start out you will need ONE of these muzzle devices:
>Breek threaded muzzle+ Castle Shield <-Best one
>KAK slimline micro flash can
>1/2x28 to 3/4x16 thread adapter

Now you can print an insert that will attach the suppressor body to the muzzle device. The breek insert is a clamshell design. Put the two halves onto the castle shield and screw on the suppressor assembly. The other two will need some epoxy.

IF you want the suppressor to be permanent, epoxy the threads of the insert and suppressor body. It'll help with the longevity and make a better gas seal.

The main body will NEED to be supported by a sleeve. You can print the sleeve, but the lifespan is shorter with a lot of restrictions. You can use a 56mm ID and 60mm OD aluminum OR carbon fiber tube with jb weld. You can also use fiberglass and resin wrapped around the tube, but this is less effective.
