LOL, LMAO.
Original AK-12 prototype is dead and not coming back.
Newest variants of AK-12 are same AK-74M modernised, only thing that is changed is more reliable parts and removal of retarded stuff like 2 round burst, that was used by nobody but complicated fire selector and some ergonomis so gun is more comfortable to use.
>>64680347
According to ukrainian who have combat expirience since 2015 or se, who had used capture AK-12 gun is good, not western ergonomics but it works as intended.

Why?

I need a safe for muh gunz. It needs to be able to be wall stabilized or not a tipping hazard. Needs to be able to fix six rifles, and around a dozen pistols. Other room for bullshit like mags and ammo, and bullion would be ideal. It doesn't need to be high end, it's quite literally only being purchased so small children cannot access it with ease. I am not worried about burglars.

Hello everyone. I know how to reload ammo but I lack certain mathematical concepts that are needed to work a load backwards from projected performance. I know you lot can be pretty smart so can you help me? I want to find chamber pressure. The cartridge in question is 7.62x25.

Case:
>7.62x25
Bullet weight:
>265 grains
Velocity:
>1000 fps

I want 300blk but smaller and dumber.

For example, here's a list of loads Quickload generated. You can see the max pressure on this chart but that alone is not enough for doing any sort of design calculations. You can easily model the individual loads suggested here.
>>
>>64685905
>Please state what you hope to make
OP wants to make a super cool armor piercing subsonic gun. He picked the Tok cartridge to start with because he heard it had decent armor penetration, but he's not smart enough to realize that is only because of velocity, which is out the window for his *subsonic* project.
>>
>>64685651
Can't do because no info on the powder.
>>
You can’t load 7.62x25 with 265gr bullets - there isn’t enough available length for the bullet. And even if you could, I don’t think you could get them to go 1000fps. There isn’t enough case capacity for the 600ft*lbs needed.

The 870 is the best pump shotgun on the planet IFF you replace the ejector with the Sully device from WeaponsArmorer.com.

The 870 used to own 90% of the police/tactical market, but the riveted factory ejector is shit. It's not only the most common point of failure, but a bitch to replace. This weakness allowed Mossberg, Beretta, and Benelli to gain a lot of ground in the past 20 years or so.

With the recent invention of the Sully ejector, which is stronger, more reliable, and much more easily replaceable, the 870 goes back to the top of the heap for pump action "riot guns", and with all the other aftermarket parts that can be had, it's easily the most versatile for people who want to hunt or shoot clays too.

You can get an old Police Magnum for under $500. Along with the Sully ejector, add a Volquartsen extractor, Chisel stock, Wilson ghost ring sights, and a Vang Comp magazine extension, if necessary. If you want an optic, use the Aimpoint H-2 with 6 MOA red dot. You will then have the world's best tactical shotgun.
>>
>>64687606
or you could just buy a Mossberg 590a1 off the shelf.

It was unrelated to knights but the clergy (a social class). The Vatican was the closets thing to the UN/Hague during that period and tried to deescalate the brutality of war for centuries.

The Second Council of the Lateran decided in the canon 29 that any sort of missile weapons were forbidden to be used against christians
>We prohibit under anathema that murderous art of crossbowmen and archers, which is hateful to God, to be employed against Christians and Catholics from now on.

The canon 14 also said that jousts are bad
>14. We entirely forbid, moreover, those abominable jousts and tournaments in which knights come together by agreement and rashly engage in showing off their physical prowess and daring, and which often result in human deaths and danger to souls. If any of them dies on these occasions, although penance and viaticum are not to be denied him when he requests them, he is to be deprived of a church burial.
Which to be fair. they were basicaly just massive hooligan braw during this time period

Needless to say, nobody cared (although joust did eventualy changed into something with less collateral damage to the poll of knights of kingdom).

Why was the Longbow in use for literally 300 years when it simply could not penetrate armor? I have watched several experiments with modern reproductions and never once has it achieved penetration of plate armor. In this latest one they can't even pen at point-blank range a late medieval brigandine and cheap Sallet helmet which was worn by poorfag troops. Rich nobles wore high-end bespoke plate made from tempered steel with every surface calculated to deflect blows and it would have zero chance against that. The amount of training that went into using the bow doesn't seem worth the results.

more like 100 years and then the english lost the war. crossbow was used for like 500 years both on land and at sea, from the first crusade to the taking of teotihuacan, but has 0.1% of cultural coverage that longbow does. somehow a single defeat at crecey is enough to humiliate and annihilate the entire crossbow legacy, but the disaster of patay does nothing to the reputation of the english archers. hmmmmmmm

>They can still fight effectively in melee when the time comes
>The English are generally retarded and CANNOT let go of traditions, so they retained the longbow long after it it stopped being useful
>>
>>64684834
Legs, face, forearm/hands were unarmoured on regular soldiers, see tods video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFFgcTzCvMo

But then you might ask why the english used very heavy drawweight bows when 40-60 lb drawweight would be enough to wound the unarmoured body parts. It is also a kind of area denial weapon, i read one example that the romans had to lift a siege of a gallic town in the war against vercingetorix because the gauls had bowmen who prevented the romans to build siege engines/equipment. Whereas the gauls had no or not enough archers in the siege of alesia and thus the romans succeeded.

Its always a good option to be able to hit from a distance, even if its not very powerful.

> The DPRK has a program to replicate the S-300/Patriot as a native system but it hasn't worked out well which they fully admit. It's a major source of frustration and annoyance for them, they are good at making missiles but an advanced long range AA missile is a problem.
Creating a modern Air Defense system is no joke.

It's one of the toughest fields for a nation to establish. If all the knowledge of building a modern AA system were comprised into books, it would likely be larger than most libraries.

Modern AA systems are very abstract in how they work and is heavily dependent on chain of command, but not at the same time. Since it's designed to still function and defend even when multiple sensors, radars, and launchers are down. It's also extremely software heavy which is arguably even tougher than building the hardware, as with hardware, you can be guided by physics and other designs.

I wonder if the DPRK may be attempting to integrate large numbers of legacy systems into their modern IADS. There have been hints in that direction for years. I wouldn't be shocked if they took a page out of the Russians book and even integrated MANPADS. They already have radar guided 14.5mms.

Not OP but I just recommend finding the cheapest model you can and starting from there. A receiver, bolt, and trigger group will cost you what a regular 1103 would last I checked, even just take-offs (usually from builders who toss the OEM parts). Also what the FUCK did Ruger do to their catalog? There's only the 1103 left for the carbine tab.
