I love mine, 11lbs spring came today to stop the malfunctions from the big compensator. But the OG trigger sucks for target shooting, match trigger was a day 1 upgrade

i see no point in bullpup rifles, i mean they go trough all that work, only to provide miniscule results, all because they keep recirculating AR derived slop design. the only guns i have seen as a viable solution is either KRASA or the "grip repeating rifle", and not for its name sake.. only the bolt design. anyhow, this is my take on what a bullpup should be.. it feeds from behind magazine, so you obtain 3 more inches of barrel, mix this with the bullpup setup and suddenly what should be a 10" barrel gun, can become a 20"..
>>64697279The barrel length does not increase compared to a conventional design.Look at the Krasa bolt, it is quite short but there is no reason you couldn't make a conventional bolt equally short. The Krasa on moves the magazine forwards. It is not more compact.

This is one of those "dont meet your heroes" type guns, semi auto is very picky, pump mode is very stiff, the stock is actively stabbing you and to top it all off, its not particularly well made. Nothing sucks the fun out of a shotgun for me more than cutting my fingers on a shitty loading gate. Listen I like SPAS chan's fat tits more than a married man should but outside of the gun looking good, it just won't meet any expectations you may have from looking at it in pictures. Take my advice young anons youre better off getting a flat Ithaca 37 you can slam fire than having to put up with a curvy showpiece that'll just sit around the house. Happy New Year!
What's the minimum standard to train to if you are going to carry? I am not talking SOF, I am not talking some mercenary company standards. Just something that a person can't do after 50 rounds, but 100% of people can do after 3-6 months. Think 2 plate bench / 3 plate deadlift.I am guessing it's 2 rounds on target from rest or holster in x time. What's that x?What's the best way to train for it?
>>64697471>What's the minimum standard to train to if you are going to carry? The hard reality is that from the comments below, you seem to desire raising your proficiency. That is fun and fulfilling but not necessary for people who are going to carry. The overwhelming majority of confrontations happen at knife distances, which is why the only necessary training people need is safe handling of the weapon to avoid negligent discharge training. After that you can get all the training you want (but don't need) as a civilian.

It's almost time for $0 tax stamps. You can finally, legally, have fun. Buy a $400 P1S from Bambu, some Pa6-cf filament from polymaker, and get to work. Some 3dp2a guys released the FTN 5.0 suppressors recently. There are suppressors for pistols, pcc's, and rifles. Let's talk about the last one.To start out you will need ONE of these muzzle devices:>Breek threaded muzzle+ Castle Shield <-Best one>KAK slimline micro flash can>1/2x28 to 3/4x16 thread adapterNow you can print an insert that will attach the suppressor body to the muzzle device. The breek insert is a clamshell design. Put the two halves onto the castle shield and screw on the suppressor assembly. The other two will need some epoxy.IF you want the suppressor to be permanent, epoxy the threads of the insert and suppressor body. It'll help with the longevity and make a better gas seal. The main body will NEED to be supported by a sleeve. You can print the sleeve, but the lifespan is shorter with a lot of restrictions. You can use a 56mm ID and 60mm OD aluminum OR carbon fiber tube with jb weld. You can also use fiberglass and resin wrapped around the tube, but this is less effective.Comment too long. >>64699408You do remeber that the ATF fixed efile during the Biden years, right?
>>64699208i thought it was because that since SOTs have to pay a tax to manufacture suppressors for commercial sale that the tax stamp is still somehow validor at least thats how i read it when the DOJ response was posted a month or 2 ago striking down the lawsuit
>>64699528It'll get struck down. The courts can't say something illegal will happen and prevent it. They need to wait until it's happened and an infringement has occurred in their eyes. The registry doesn't became a registry for the sake of it until they stop collecting taxes in about twelve hours

>>64699371Nah.The big barrier is going to be actually getting a can. Because ugh manufacturers and dealers have been saving up, the demand means that there will be fucking none to be found for a while. Except for ones like that dumb Jesse James one that nobody wants.

Problem and greatest engineering/technological barrier with caseless firearms is and remains the ammunition.
>>64698470I wish someone would pick up the concept and expand on it. The General Dynamics entry for the NGSW was quite interesting with its polymer cased ammo, but of course Sig is still the best at bribery.>>64698501I was fascinated by this gun long before Reddit existed.
>>64698728That's Panzermuseum Munster? I saw one there.
>>64699607What's to expand on? Textron/AAI re-created the ammo early on in the LSAT program and determined the juice wasn't worth the squeeze. Cased telescoped gets you something like 90% of the weight savings with absolutely none of the problems inherent to caseless ammo.

so mines are legal for home defense as long as the home is occupied?
>>64699803Pretty easily fixed desu, just airgap the detonator and the main charge 6 or so inches. Use a relatively stable main charge that doesn't increase in sensitivity as it deteriorates. Have the alarm activate a piston that inserts the detonator into the main charge when it notified you. Should be armed by the time you check the camera feed. Honestly I'd consider something like that necessary for any sort of homemade device meant for long term or indefinite use. It'd be very embarrassing to randomly frag yourself because you half assed an acid scavenger step 6 month back.
>>64699814bro you don't know how to make bombs.. are you gunna research and develop a proper container and use actual explosive material and not a soup can full of gunpowder?I don't trust any of you mother fuckers to wire something explosive up and not have it randomly fail when I walk by, or when a mouse shorts the wires a blows up the pizzaguy. You're gunna set your house on fire doing some stupid shit and when the firemen comes they're going to get their shit blown SMOOVE OFF by your homemade claymore.
>>64699833...okay YOU'RE allowed to touch the bomb stuff... nobody else..
>>64699833it's still kinda fucked up to plant bombs everywhere, like I GET the concept of traps, but the military learned that leaving mines and explosives scattered everywhere is a bad ideathe best case scenario for setting these off is like your perimeter is being breached and that's already kinda fucked, if you're one person covering 1 location I hope you only have 1 avenue of approach or 1 entryway or you're gunna have to rig up multiple explosive devices.. more explosives strewn about to worry about the quality of the whole time they're planted in your proximetyI genuinely think having other electronic early warning systems and stuff like IR and Thermals would be better then planting bombs everywhere. I've always thought it would be cool to have a drone thats in a little weather shelter on your roof and he can pop out, tethered for power, and just fly above your property with a FLIR. The roof already has clearance so he can even fly edge to edge and look straight down at the walls.
>>64699866>I genuinely think having other electronic early warning systems and stuff like IR and Thermals would be better then planting bombs everywhereI don't think you understand that the bomb going off on it's own accord when you're doing something else is the whole point, it even works as an early warning system of sorts. You can't have anything, especially eyes, everywhere, but you sure can have bombs nearly everywhere.
Let me guess, you think your airforce needs more expensive higher performance aircraft. You could get 5 of these fucks and arm them for the price of an empty KR-67.
And five of those would lose to a single F-35 and get their pilots killed.
>>64699761>You could get 5 of these fucks and arm them for the price of an empty KR-67.the KR-67 can carry enough missiles to simultaneously shove an AMRAAM and a sidewinder up each and every one of those TA-30's asses. have fun dumping flares while running the radar jammer

Okay, i'm starting now re: >>64647358 / >>64654060 / >>64690132 etcIt was probably pretty effective, but how much so is debatableOn the Native side, both codices and textual accounts have them severing necks and limbs (see the Florentine Codex in >>64647358 and in pic related). The Spanish also praise it's lethality, Diaz states:>and two-handled stone edged swords, which cut better than our swords...made with stones which cut worse than knives, so cleverly arranged, that one can neither break nor pull out the bladesThe chronicler Baltasar Dorantes de Carranza also states Macuahuitl cut better then Spanish swords ("...las macanas, espadas de navaja que cortaban mexor que las nuestras...") but he may just be parroting Diaz (tho Diaz's account wasn't widely published yet at the time). Meanwhile, Diaz himself I suspect is also pulling from another Conquistador, the "Anonymous Conquerer", who said>They have swords...of wood... like a two-handed sword, but with the hilt not so long; about three fingers in breadth. The edges are grooved, and in the grooves they insert stone knives, that cut like a Toledo knife. I saw one day an Indian fighting with a mounted man, and the Indian gave the horse...a blow in the breast that he opened it to the entrails, and it fell dead...I saw another Indian give another horse a blow in the neck, that stretched it dead at his feetWith this likely being the origin of various other Spanish claims that Macuahuitl could behead a horse in a single stroke. As you can see here, the original claim is not quite as impressive, but still attests to it being effective. Francisco Hernández de Córdova, another Conquistador, claims it could split a man in two, but in contrast to Diaz, states that after one use the blades broke or came off:Comment too long.
