I can’t believe it took a 30 minute video to say what we already knew, which is that 10mm Auto is the superior automatic handgun cartridge, and that only after having to water it and then .40 S&W down for the women, manlets, and fags in the FBI did they just settle on 9mm because there was no difference at that point. Amazing.
>But muh fire rate!
Literally doesn’t matter in a combat scenario, doubly so if your shots don’t actually land. Paul Harrell already established this in his 1986 Miami Dade shootout analysis.

Lift weights and carry 10mm, anons.

Anyone here actually use D-Lead products, or any leadremovers in general?
I am currently looking at wipes, hand soap, body wash & shampoo, laundry detergent, and a lot more but theres too many to name...How many should I buy, and should I just buy all of them to be safe?
I shoot a fair amount and I’m going to be shooting way more this year than I ever have, and I'm starting to wonder how paranoid I should be about lead exposure...Because I’ve heard horror stories about young dudes who shot their whole lives, never wore gloves, never washed right, ate at the range, reloaded bare-handed and endedup with fcknCANCER or straight up DEAD a few decades later from lead poisoning.

>Is this a legit concern, or am I turning into a schizo?

Dedicated lead-removal shill products? No, OFC not. I do wash my hands regularly though, many times a day, and certainly after handling guns/ammo/etc.

None of them.

Wash your hands before you eat. Don't eat/drink at the range. That's really all there is to it.

What is it with manufacturerfags blatantly lying about their hot new cartridge being "JUSTASGUD" as another bigger and quite clearly more energetic cartridge of same or similar caliber?

Kinda close but still slightly short, I'll grant that it's a wider boolet and just will make a wider hole tho. The JUSTASGUD aspect also wasn't pushed in marketing, just something I see people say.

The GCAP project HQ is based in the UK for a reason.
>>
>>64751643
Yeah, geography.

Also the first head of that headquarters is Japanese.
>>
>>64751643
Anon, the headquarters needed to be somewhere, with the UK having a bigger role than Italy, it makes sense for the UK to get the headquarters, they're physically close to Italy, and the headquarters was never going to be in Japan because then 2 of the 3 nations would be nowhere near it.
Also, even though it's located in the UK the actual headquarters itself is officially not on UK soil. The headquarters is kinda like an embassy or the UN, the UK officially has no legal authority on the land and they'd need to ask permission from the Japanese Chief Executive, Masami Oka if they wanted to enter the premises. The high level GIGO employees are essentially given diplomatic immunity, and despite living and working in the UK will pay no UK taxes.

There's no real need to rehash why mechs don't work but what is the ideal jungle support vehicle then?

>>64754746
B-52
>>
>>64754949
A legged vehicle of comparable weight to a tracked vehicle is going to have a reasonably comparable width and is thus going to be similarly awful at traversing dense jungle terrain, except that the mech is tall enough to have serious stability issues that will be aggravated by the mech's greater height causing it to run into branches that destabilize it, which a lower height vehicle would simply drive underneath. The mech is also, due to the aformentioned height induced stability issues, going to be far worse at simply ramming its way past trees and other foliage.

The only time legs start being an advantage is if the ground surface becomes so uneven that tracked vehicles simply can't move over them without exceeding their maximum climbing angle or tipping over, but said obstacles are also liable to collapse under the mass of a legged vehicle and cause dangerous stability issues unless the vehicle is so light that it is well below the weight of the lightest traditional armoured vehicle. Practically speaking, if the terrain is so challenging that a tracked vehicle can't traverse it, then no large ground vehicle will be able to navigate it at a reasonable speed regardless of what form of locomotion it relies on.
>>
>>64755200
>but said obstacles are also liable to collapse under the mass of a legged vehicle and cause dangerous stability issues
This, half of climbing up steed slopes is tangibly feeling when they're not stable. This is why mules are decent for mountainous terrain, they're alive, they have nerves that let them know what they're walking on and how to fine tune their weight distribution instinctively.

Hell this applies to soft jungle terrain too, and while you could argue a robust set of pressure sensors paired with AI magic could make it work, why make this slow, vulnverable, overly complex system when you could just load 100 small drones with AI magic and have them perfectly avoid all trees while effortlessly striking targets at 100+ knots.

Tanks are not obsolete they just haven't been updated.

Abrams introduced- 45 years ago

The first ironclad to the first dreadnought was about 45 years in comparison.

Roughly 45 years between the wright brothers plane and the introduction of combat jet aircraft.

You can make your own port cleaner from a copper pipe brush and 12" PVC pipe, but it is necessary.
I haven't cleaned the suppressor itself yet at all. I'm using a BRT hub adapter and a CAT MOB for my suppressor stack.
I clean the barrel ports/threads every 300 or so rounds but you could go 600+ easy.
Other than that it's just like cleaning any other suppressed MP5. Being an SD adds maybe five minutes to cleaning the whole gun.
>>
>>64754957
Not him, but the B&T Print X is stupid easy to clean.
>every 1.5k to 2k rounds, plug end, fill with cleaning fluid, plug other end, wait overnight

>oil the threads
That's literally it. You can get a 3d printed port cleaner for like $20 too.

Can you guys please help understand what the post-service employment landscape is like for officers who join at an older age? I posted here a while back asking if it would be a mistake to join the army as an officer at 33 as I’m working at a university and struggling to advance. I see veterans with otherwise similar backgrounds to me getting accelerated career tracks because they are veterans but they all served right after college or right before. I’m really having a hard time figuring out if I can still get the same boost at this point or if that ship has sailed for me. FWIW I’m working in research, no PhD, a lot of this stuff is DoD funded. All of the department heads and supervisors are vets. All of the super high wage high skill employees under them are vets. All the people on the path to high level university leadership from here are vets.

Why don’t all countries just acquire nuclear weapons? If sufficient numbers of countries take this step then all threats of sanctions from non-compliance lose their significance. Israel already set the precedent by showing how nuclear weapons inspections and the sanctions tied to them have no meaning.

First one should build a large stockpile of nerve agents and genetically modified biological weapons so that deterrence remains in effect while the bombs are being built. Olympic pools of VX being pumped to cheap drones with spray tanks would be enough since the poison will remain in the terrain as microscopic droplets for months thus neutralizing enemy population centers even if the vast majority of launches are intercepted.

It's very likely that over the next decade, Japan, Australia, South Korea, and Brazil will build nuclear weapons. New nuclear arms protections will probably form too. It is also likely that Sweden and Ukraine will attempt to. The Andean nations, Canada, Mexico and Taiwan will try to gain membership in nuclear protection umbrella groups. There is a worrying potential that the Gulf Arabs will acquire nuclear weapons as well.

They're recommending them to lower trigger pull weight ie trigger snobbery. It's a bullpup, your going to be dealing with a worse trigger, it's part and parcel ie the price you pay for getting a 8.5' .300blk rifle shorter than a MP5 or a Mk18.
Pay closer attention to the install and tuning of the trigger linkages, that's where you'll see the most potential for improvement
