Took my 12 gauge memewave in the backyard today. Forgot how fun that thing is. I shot a few cans, and hit one with a cut shell. Thinking about going through the process for making it an SBS.

What's the deets on braced shotguns currently?
Last i heard the extensions people were using to mount braces made it a no no, is this how it still rolls?

Honestly I couldn’t say. I haven’t looked into it recently. Only thing about a form 1 is idk how to get my gun engraved, and 2 it’s a lot of paperwork.

Which are better for marking where you've been in an unknown area that is akin to a maze, pic related is where I will be returning to soon, this place is wierd, I shine my torch into it, and the light just fails to illuminate the environment.

Not this exact place but the pipe up ahead you have to crawl under the concrete to get to.

If the air inside is poisoned (storm drain) with methane or something flammable, then perhaps igniting a flare within the pipe is not a good idea, as it will set the environment on fire, but if I really need more light in there, then a high powered LedLenser and flares are crucial for navigating down there.

I cannot afford NVGs also.

What is this zoomer backrooms bullshit.
"Fails to illuminate sooo unusual!"
No, it isn't. It's an underground confined space with no ambient light or reflective surfaces. That's how that is.
Your biggest concern shouldn't be methane, it should be sulfur dioxide, which will kill you in a few breaths without warning because you don't have a gas meter to tell you you're fucked.
Also weapons board what.

Glow sticks are cheaper, safer, and glow for much longer.
Chalk is also cheap and safe.
There's also a type of line (the name of which I forget) which is used for cave exploring and spelunking, where you tie one end to the entrance and pull it behind you, and at regular intervals you add a little plastic arrow pointing back, so if you get away from the line and get back to it you'll know in which direction to go.
>>
>>64763108
Assuming you're being serious, get a reel of fishing line, tie one end to the entrance and spool it out behind you as you go. Theseus and the minotaur type shit.

Yeah it was kinda like that when I bought it too, but I just slicked it up by opening it up and cleaning/oiling it first and then dry-firing it an untold billions of times while watching TV. I do that with every new revolver I buy, regardless of brand, because I’m too lazy to polish them.

There is a guy that makes repros for 30 ish. The originals are expensive for some reason but sometimes you get lucky
The repro i have is specifically for a k frame but it is close enough.
I have a nice collection of ruger revolvers. I have plenty of other revolvers but I prefer ruger over the others.

Bring on the migs.

You're tasked with building a kit to help Iranian resistance against the Ayatollah regime, the kits you build will be airdropped into Iranian territory in large dufflebags and then picked up by chosen operatives.

You have $3k per kit to try to arm an light resistance guerrilla fighter, you can only source items from the US civilian market. At minimum you should provide a rifle, a pistol, body armor, essential accessories and ammunition for both, as well as any survival or tactical implement you see necessary.

What kind of stuff do you pick?

>>64762089
Well that's good to know. Probably still won't get one since .y older glocks still have plenty of life left in them. So long as I can buy oem spare parts for them I won't bother getting a gen 6.
>>

>>
>>64756988
got my Gen 6 19 today. I like it so far. The only other glock I have to compare it to is a factory 34.5. I'd say the trigger in this example is better than the 34. The flaring on the magwell of the 19.6 is the same angle as the 34 but deeper if that makes sense. The surefire X300 on the 34 will not fit onto the Gen 6 glock with the current plate without wiggling it on with some force. The 19.6 will NOT fit in a safariland 6355 for a Gen 5 19 with an X300U with or without the flashlight attached. The other two G19 leather holsters and one kydex holster I have work perfectly. The recoil spring goes, "sreeee" as you work it unlike glocks with the double spring which doesn't really make a noise. I really like the grip and texture.
>>
>>64763076
after fiddling with the safariland, I'd say it works. I had to loosen it up from where I had it set when I owned a Gen 5. The 19.6 was pulling plastic scrapings up in the slide serrations for about 50 draws but it seems to have smoothed out now. I wonder if I just ruined the holster for gen 5's though. Good thing I don't own any at the moment. The slide serrations at the front are deeper at the top than they are at the bottom. That's hard to see in photos. The serrations in the rear are the same but much less aggressive than the forward ones.
>>
>>64758674
>>64762089
The biggest thing I see with the barrel is a very deep/aggressive relief cut in the bottom right of the chamber next to the feed ramp. If the angle of the feed ramp itself has changed I can't see it. The cut may have to do with the new extractor because it's right where the extractor meets the barrel.

Anyone here actually use D-Lead products, or any leadremovers in general?
I am currently looking at wipes, hand soap, body wash & shampoo, laundry detergent, and a lot more but theres too many to name...How many should I buy, and should I just buy all of them to be safe?
I shoot a fair amount and I’m going to be shooting way more this year than I ever have, and I'm starting to wonder how paranoid I should be about lead exposure...Because I’ve heard horror stories about young dudes who shot their whole lives, never wore gloves, never washed right, ate at the range, reloaded bare-handed and endedup with fcknCANCER or straight up DEAD a few decades later from lead poisoning.

>Is this a legit concern, or am I turning into a schizo?

>get any symptons
Symptoms are a bad standard to have, if you have noticeable symptoms of lead poisoning you already have irreversible damage you haven't noticed. They happen slowly so like having hearing loss if you're noticing it you're already fucked. You want to stay well below the threshold of ever showing any symptoms. Assuming western normal levels of hygiene most of the lead hazard in shooting is in inhalation, not consumption. It's in the air and gets deposited on stuff which means you're breathing it. See >>64756731 where I lead tested my face and sunglasses and got positive lead tests after shooting outdoors, and I wasn't even shooting anything really gassy like a suppressed rifle that gasses you out.

so?
Tetrach doesn’t magically become a good tank just because it was supposed to be transported via gliders.
Either it is a good tank or it isn’t; circumstances don’t matter.

Also, how does it not having a cupola, etc., affect its ability to be transported by ship in any way?
Shouldn’t the only factors that matter be its width, height, length, and weight?

The fact that it could be supported by massive artillery and be a mobile armored gun with local firepower superiority across the theatre matters. Not min/maxing stats in a game.

No turret is a tactical nightmare. Aiming the armored gun is a major doctrinal change between a tank and an assault gun. Plus, you're being hyperbolic.

It only seems silly from a modern perspective where everyone is running around with sub-8Ibs select fire rifles, probably made a lot more sense back in the 1940s where most people were still rocking fixed magazines bolt actions or submachine guns at best.
The real question is why the fuck were the British STILL using them well into the 90's when reliable modern belt feds were a thing and everyone had FAL's
