>>64758334Good thing we're skipping to 6th gen while the US is busy getting browner and protecting pedos.
>>64758382>but it's just a fucking plane at the end of the day.LolLmao evenThanks for confirming for the class you have no idea what you're talking about.
Chief of Safran confirmed that while the engine is going well the fcas fighter is quasi-deadhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyYmOOaXD8Uwould be funny if they end up with the most modern vc-engine but no fighter to put it in.
>>64760126it will be probably be american kek
>>64760126>most modern vc-engineThat's already been claimed by the AETP.
Would going to an Appleseed course be worth it? I've never had any instruction in shooting and there's a few coming up within driving distance so the cost would be low. I'd use a 10/22 with an LVPO.It kind of seems like it's all old people and kids in the basic courses, though admittedly, that's probably better than getting there and finding a bunch of spergs my own age trying to look cool. I doubt I'll find a more accessible form of training but I'm not sure if this is the best format. Like how much is shooting and how much is just listening to the instructors give a history lesson?I also understand they put a lot of emphasis on sling use but the USGI sling they use seems pretty clunky from some of the videos I've seen so I may never swap to it but I do think having someone actually watching and give me feedback might help, especially if it's assumed I have no knowledge upon arrival.Anyone that's been to one want to give your impressions?
>>64755698Some of the videos I've seen have you flipping the gun over or clamping it between your legs to adjust the strap and it seems inconvenient. I might put it on my 10/22 or a sporter but I like front carry for my AR and it looks like the USGI is over the shoulder only.>>64755725I'd definitely learn some things but I've been mentally tallying the cost of stuff like rain gear (the class is in April and it'll almost certainly be raining) and cases/bags/electronic earpro and I'm looking more than that in gear alone if I want to be decently prepared. But cost is less of an issue than me being an unsociable shut-in.>>64756426I get an almond extract flavor from apple seeds but I've been clean for a while now.
>>64756426>Apparently cherry pits are extremely poisonousThey're poisonous but not "extremely" imo, for typical red/black cherries you'd probably have to eat 7-10 pits (and chew them, swallowing whole causes no complications) before you'd start to get even symptoms on average. It'd bad for you but there's not THAT much amygdalin in them and not 100% of it will get catalyzed by beta-glucosidase into hydrogen cyanide, and because it's getting generated in the body as the amygdalin gets digested/catalyzed it won't be all at once. You'd start to feel it around 0.5mg/L of blood and probably be dead around 3 mg/L, so there is some exposure range.I'd certainly avoid doing that, nothing to mess around with and chronic low exposure might not cause anything immediately noticeable but can cause some real issues over the course of years/decades. But if you weren't eating enough of them and don't do it anymore doubt it'll ever be a problem for you.
>>64756990>I've been mentally tallying the cost of stuff like rain gear (the class is in April and it'll almost certainly be raining) and cases/bags/electronic earpro and I'm looking more than that in gear alone if I want to be decently prepared. You're gonna need most of that to go shooting anyway, man. That's not class prep, that's general touching-grass prep. All you need to do to pay it off is go hiking or find some BLM land nearby to practice the principles you learn in the class.
>>64753932I thought it was worth it enough to go to a second one but not a third. History parts were alright, well delivered by the volunteers at the ones I went to. Felt like about 1/3 shooting, 1/3 instruction, 1/3 history and lunch was included. There are slings other than the USGI that can be used for loop-style support (Rifle-Craft RS-2 pictured) or you can use a modern two-point around your back just fine. Magnification would have made it way easier. Bring water or gatorade, eyesight is the first thing to suffer when dehydrated.
>>64756990>flipping the gun over or clamping it between your legs to adjust the strapThis means the strap was installed incorrectly. It is adjustable with one hand if installed correctly.

>>64760435Same. Bottles are useful to field resupply if you can't stay long enough to refill the bladder, especially if it's mounted to your vest / PC.
>>64760343>catch them leaving the airportThey should be on thier flight path for best results. ATC may be directing direction before they come to altitude. I have routinely taken off or come in for landing and done 180°s. Also not for long trips they may aim for a nav becon thay is off a direct route. Plus, great circle routes are right out on flat maps.
Anyone got an eye on the chinese laser pistol thread?
>>64760439Exactly. And I have this one bladder that's a total pain in the ass to get out but refilling it is easy.
>>64760463Not sure how I'll figure all that shit out but I'll try

The entire premise is interesting (peoplewith actualgun/explosive knowledge rolling up on cryptids with equipment instead of a flashlight and bible), and the writer knows his shit. Just don't get caught off guard by the werewolf sex.
>>64753299This.
>>64759312>>64759325I regret buying it, actually. I got the No.1 in .416 Rigby without realizing that's primarily a bolt action cartridge. I should have gotten a Ruger bolt gun or a CZ550 for the same money back then. Now those have been discontinued and the prices have gone insane. Or maybe a No.1 in a rimmed safari caliber. Although the No.1 isn't as slick as it looks. Inside the receiver is just rough cast metal.

>>64755622>I fail to believe .03 of an inch can make that much differenceIt does. Using .308" projectiles in a .311" bore just means they will rattle around like a slim jim in a trashcan. You will never get good accuracy shooting Russian crap with Americn bullets. This is why Russia loses to Ukraine.
>>64758580There are entire books written about this, the USSR didn't do shit the Czar did. Russia spent half a century using US made rifling machines because they couldn't make their own. After WW2 they got new ones from the US and the old ones fixed and a few are still in use right now. It wasn't them being clever it was them being poor and incompetent.
>>64758477how's the taper on .380? 9mm won't fit in .357 because the case is much thicker at the base
>>64752079But haven’t you heard? 6.5CBJ is the best thing since sliced bread. It is the pistol/PDW/assault rifle cartridge, solved. All guns should be chambered in this wunderpatron. I know this because Ian made a video about it recently.

>the FBI didnt just switch to 9mm because its cheaper and let more people(women) qualify! >>64756116If you cannot handle larger calibers, even if you have a penis and testicles, you’re a woman.
>>64748201the thing I got from this video is that the heavier for caliber bullets are what are recommended. It used to be 115gr. for 9mm, not they recommend 147gr.
>>64748201Because 9mm, .40, and .45 are inherently the same. Pistol calibers are shit and regardless of which caliber you're using, you're mag dumping into the perp.
>>64748689Is that pepe smoking crack?
>>64748201They're about the same price and .40 definitely and obviously outperforms 9mm. It has more powder and bullet. It wasn't done so more trannies and women could qualify either, it was literally done because of tacticoolies wanting "their round" to be used so they pushed it through. Same reason the military wanted Glocks and you fags all want everyone to use ARs. The gun community has this weird thing about commonality and wanting everyone else to have to use what they use.
