>Are water bladders even worth buying? I don't see how they're particularly better than any water bottle inside a backpack or something other than conveniece
Convenience can make a big difference to your water intake. If taking a drink means taking your pack of or awkwardly reaching for a badly positioned pocket then you're going to hydrate less than someone who can just sip from the tube dangling over their shoulder.

Per the website it's apparently IIIA and good for 9x19mm / .44 magnum. I saw an old catalog saying IIA, so it sounds like you can order either depending on your requirements. Can I get a IIIB?
>The result of two years of additional development, this self-defense device, unique in the world, completes the equipment of any good bodyguard.
With NIJ 3A protection, this umbrella protects you from 9mm to .44 Mag revolvers and submachine guns. The ParaPactum® is compact, durable, and easy to deploy. Weighing 4 kg and measuring one meter in diameter, it is the perfect ally for close protection.

Yeah, it doesn't seem half bad. Also, their III++ and Level IV plates are apparently flexible, unless that's just mistranslation. Add that to the list of flexible rifle armor:
1. Dragonskin
2. Hexar
3. FRAS
4. Verco
5. Skaalar
6. FSAPI (E and X)
7. Pangolin
8. FIRA (this stuff)
9. Ceraflex

Why aren't there more guns that have a secondary barrel for firing a more powerful caliber if the situation changes suddenly? The only example I can think of is the LeMat Revolver. It would throw the caliber wars for a loop and make for a fun range toy.

For the new MRCA procurement plan, Malaysia may get SU-57 fighter jets from Russia and KF-21 from South Korea or even KAAN from Turkey because they have already offered it to Malaysia. Russia has already offered the SU57 package along with the S400 to Malaysia. The US gives too many conditions and no freedom to repair or upgrade the aircraft made in the United States. Most recently, Malaysia has held discussions with the Russian authorities to obtain the Mig-35 as well as the 5th generation Sukhoi Su-57 aircraft because Russia guarantees technology exchange and aircraft upgrades in the future.

Eventhough the US bribing Malaysia not to join BRICS with sale of F-35, it wont be easy for them if the US Congress keep trying to meddle in and trying to approve it only with terms. Although both countries are friends, Malaysia is not that close with US, unlike Singapore , which the US gave much favour too. Also, Putrajaya (Malaysia) did not recognized Israel and dont have any Diplomatic relationship with Tel Aviv. Unlike Singapore which is the strongest supporters of Israel's war against the Palestinian people. So, you can do the math why Malaysian prefer to get 2nd hand F-18 from Kuwait as a temporary "stop-gap measure" only, as a temporary filling in the procurement of fifth or sixth generation fighter jets that will begin in the 14th Malaysia Plan (RM14 & RM15) 2030-2040.

Recently there has been a trend of Shaheds armed with various anti-aircraft missiles, both MANPADS and R-60s. Is there any real merit to this? I can assume that these are presumably supposed to cooperate with the drones we've seen carrying rear-facing cameras, with the missile Shadhed trailing the spotting one, but this seems like a lot of investment to put into a rather dubious shootdown chance.

At least half a dozen of them, yeah. And potentially one or two planes. There was a ton of whining in Telegram channels since some of the shot down pilots weren't recovered because nobody bothered to send a recovery crew in a timely manner.
Ruslims had to create special rules where helicopters should approach the USVs from the back as to not get shot down kek.

Believe it or not? He's probably looking out for you. But if you want to push it, if meps didn't pick up on it, it's not his place to say. Find another recruiter if you truly want this. You may be beyond the point of being able to mask it though. Drills will notice.

Did you say the words "yes I have an autism diagnosis" or any derivative of this? This complicates things greatly if you did.
>>
>>64760814
Have you been actually diagnosed by some kind of medical professional? How intensely autistic are you that recruiters are just cold diagnosing you? Be honest.
>>
>>64760675
No good answer. Marines do vague contracts that could stick you into a bunch of things.
I've been told aviation is surprisingly decent in the marines though. Doubt it's better than say, the 160th though. At least you know what airframe you'll work on in the Army.
Do not join the Marines unless it's during a war. Don't do it.

>Find another recruiter if you truly want this
I dont think I need another recruiter as I am already enlisted into the DEP
He also isnt standing in my way and he didnt say anything to me directly and he generally seems pretty nice
Its just allegedly he said those things to another applicant and the other applicants told me about it

I am not upset with him over saying or thinking anything it just makes me self conscious and worried about being "found out" and removed from basic

I have not said anything about it to him or anyone and I shrugged it off and laughed and acted like I wasnt bothered when the other applicant told me this

>>64760898
I was diagnosed when I was in elementary school but my parents fought the school to keep me from being put in therapy and on Ritalin or Adderall or etc

I dont really know "how autistic" I am as its hard to judge from my own shoes
I can recognize that habits I have and things I like align with people I see online that would be made fun of for being "autistic" or "weird"

Turns out I was wrong. idk where I read that Teddy liked peep sights, I know the one letter is about him buying a .22 with peep sights
https://www.theodorerooseveltcenter.org/digital-library/o293878/
it must have been for the Smithsonian African trip
I'll post the other version of the letter in the next post but, it turns out he always used what are basically express sights with a u notch in the bottom with a ramped front bead.
https://www.loc.gov/resource/mss38299.mss38299-363_0001_0271/?sp=106&r=0.447,0.157,0.595,0.233,0
in his autobiography he specifically mentions drawing a bead on things, including an injun. he also straight up couldn't shoot for shit. He even admits he was a piss poor long range shot due to his shit eyes. eyes so she he couldn't get peeps to work. Peeps must still be the most accurate because every shooting competition that allows peeps but doesn't allow a scope has everyone using peeps over open sights. I wonder if he would use a red dot today or if his eyes were so shit he's seethe about the starburst

I’ve got a stupid question.

The ban on shipping firearms to your front door is due to guns requiring a background check at an FFL, correct? More specifically the idea that it makes it impossible to determine that the person that’s actually receiving it is not a prohibited person.
The CMP can ship long guns to you.
Capitol Armory can ship suppressors to you.
Manufacture/gunsmiths can ship to you.
So logically, shouldn’t you be able to order a gun and have it delivered to you as long as you fill out a digital 4473?
>>
So, looking at it cynically. Is this just a move so the current administration can say they're expanding gun rights without actually doing anything significant?
>>
>>64760941
gun laws never make sense, anon. don't try and find logic.
e.g. the entire SBR portion of the NFA is nonsense because pistols were supposed to be NFA items, originally.
