Real nonretarded 'foodgroups' Mark 2 Mod 1. Posting until you get it.

>Concealable pistol. Anything from subcompact to fullsize depending on environment, lifestyle, and body.

>The citizens rifle. 11.5-16" barrel 5.56 with a quality optic and ideally suppressor. This does almost anything you could ever want or need.

>Long arm. 18-20" 6.5CM or 308 rifle, a highly precise gas gun is preferable but a bolt action will do. Extends effective range far beyond the citizens rifle and dual-purposes as a capable hunting rifle for medium-large game. The right gas gun here also satisfies any DMR/battle rifle use cases.

>It's that shrimple. Anything else is a range toy or unreasonably niche larp.

classical liberal is the belief that man is a blank slate and will be morally good if completely left to their devices.
this is obviously retarded
>>

>If you're gonna shoot once you might as well shoot six times
I remember this show analyzing police shootouts in the 90's there was this guy who said something along those lines. If you don't go down after one then he's going to shoot you two more times and if you don't go down after that he is going to shoot you five times in the pelvis. It's probably been 25 years but I still practice the quintap.

He isn't bnrp but he's better than the liberals we have now. I've seen him make fun of trannies to their face on several occasions and I have seen him argue against a bunch of the racism claims that people make nowadays. He also doesn't like jews.

Correct, you just have to set up your gas correctly. It's really like I'm having to live through people acknowledging carbine gas is bad for a 16" barrel all over again.
>>62701335
>Which enlightenment thinker do you admire most
Depends how strict your definition is. Kant and Locke are solid, but the real truth is that Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, John Jay, and Benjamin Franklin are the most based and still relevant thinkers whose work hasn't been largely superseded by later philosophers. They knew how to drag ideals down from academic loftiness and apply them to the world.

It can, with a healthy culture and educated populace. Be a good dad, take your civic responsibility seriously, shoulder the burden of uplifting your community with pride. Together we'll weed out and exile those who will not ride together.

The world is not so simple as a battle between commies and anti commies. Exclusive, dogmatic worship of the collective to the exclusion of the individual is as destructive as the opposite. Reductionism is degenerate. Nuance is based.

what is the point of 13.7" and 13.9"? If you're pinning it, you're ending up at 16" anyway, so why not go 14.5? If not, you could just go 12.5".
>>
>>62701698
Because minmaxing fools with bad priorities who are using a muzzle device longer than 1.5" are trying to keep their OAL as short as it can possibly be instead of just paying the $200 to form 1. 14.5 is ideal if you have an optic with a BDC specific to M855 out of a 14.5" barrel or something, otherwise just do 16" if you're too weird to form 1.

I've had this ACOG for a little over a year. When it arrived, I noticed that the screw on the bottom left was slightly damaged from when they installed it. It doesn't bother me much, but it sits in the back of my mind that someone may have messed up torquing it down and that it might cause some of the nitrogen to leak out.

LWRCI makes a good rifle. It will be superior in every measurable and conceivable metric than a PSA. Barrel quality, fit and finish, quality control, materials, machining, all of it. You're paying for quality AND assurance. LWRCIs 'gimmick' is their piston system, which is just unnecessary. Not bad, just not needed. Their DI guns are made to the same quality.

Now, if you're willing and able to spend LWRCI money there's a whole different conversation to be had about other ways to use that budget as there are plenty of decent manufacturers in that price bracket, but there's nothing wrong with LWRC. They make good rifles.

Anon I appreciate the clear reply. What are better options for that price range? I have an EOtech or acog in mind too, but havent decided yet. I'll probably just stick with irons for awhile.

As far as piston vs DI etc, barrel lengths, and so on, I have no fuxking clue what to look for. I thought I wanted a 10.5 300blk sbr build, but I also plan on shooting it often and don't want to shell out that kind of money on ammo. Any anons care to point me in the right direction so I don't do something retarded

DI. Piston is another world entirely and it's a terrible choice for a first gun. 14.5 or 16-inch barrel, midlength gas, chambered in 5.56 from a reputable manufacturer is what you want.

>>
>>62702401
What kind of range do you have access to?
Either way the answer is going to be T2 + G33 as your first optic set up because it's the easiest to use in the widest set of applications.
T2s are very useful and can work as a secondary sighting system on a number of other optic combinations as you get deeper into things.
There are other more budget friendly options rather than the T2 but it's the one I like the most even if it's expensive simply because it just works and it's very easy to use.
>>
>>62701860

>>
>>62702401
You want an 11.5", 14.5", or 16" barrel. You want DI (carbine for 11.5, mid length for 14.5-16"). Just go 5.56 - you can always get some sort of meme upper later.

If you want to buy a fully built rifle, besides LWRC you could look at Daniel Defense, LMT, Geissele, LaRue, BCM, KAC. You can also just buy a complete lower, and an upper from any of the above and slap them together. People will tell you to assemble, but I think there's something to be said for just buying your first rifle complete.

LaRue is sort of a meme and overpriced, Geissele goes on sale soon and is a favorite for torture test nerds, BCM sells good and really mid uppers so you have to pay attention to what you buy. LMT is one of the historically best choices hands down but there has been recent reports of QC issues. KAC is a wildly overpriced meme but good product. Daniel Defense is probably about on par with the better BCM offerings.
>>
>>62702437
No problem. Remember to keep it simple and don't overthink things. BCG and barrel are the most important parts of the gun, make sure you have the best you can afford of both.

If you can't afford a high end optic right now, use irons until you can. DO NOT waste a shitload of money cycling through mid-tier chink garbage because you "need" a dot or an lpvo or whatever.

There really is no reason to buy anything besides one of those two. They just solve rifle optics simple as. Which one is up to you and how you think you'll be shooting, personally I love the ACOG and think it's perfect.

I have a few ranges near me. The better ones have pricey memberships but they're outdoor or year round. I think they go out to about 700 yards too. There's an assortment of indoor ones too, but they're mostly 25yds max. I frequent these. Hope to get access to an outdoor range soon or find some innawoods anons that will take me to their shooting spots and hopefully not kill me for the lulz
I think the t2 is better option for me than both the acog or eotech until I at least try them. They're also expensive as fuck but do look sick. Guess I have to stop crafting what ifs and go try these things out
>>62702481
Why is there so much debate over shorter barrel lengths? I wanted a sbr for home defense stuff larping in 300blk because I hear they're great supressed. If I suppress an 11.5 in 5.56, is it going to fuck with my ballistics too much? Would 14.5 be the answer here? Thanks for the brand rundown too. Saved.

No. Above 100 and I'm shooting pistols at the indoor range.
>>62702563
>Why is there so much debate over shorter barrel lengths?
Because terminally online minmaxing hitters have attached their entire identity to their rifle. Below 11.5 or so, 5.56 starts to objectively suck. 11.5 is the shortest reasonable barrel length for 5.56 for both ballistics and gas system reliability, and exists almost exclusively for using with a suppressor. You will have a lot of drop at 300+ yards but most people don't shoot that far anyway.

14.5-16" are both great and you'll get more velocity and less flash, but many people think they are just too long to be comfortable or practical with a suppressor. If you aren't getting a suppressor, go 14.5-16. If you are getting a suppressor, consider 11.5" but it's not as big a deal as people make it out to be. I suggest those three barrel lengths because they are the most vetted and proven options with known reliability factors.
>>62702570
Don't know who you're talking about, but no 5.56 barrel is going to last 200k without achieving king of sniper accuracy. If you can run through 200k rounds of ammo a few hundred bucks on a new barrel now and then is pocket change.
>>
>>62702563
Nothing wrong with asking questions.
It's very overwhelming and easy to get lost in the sauce.
I have an eotech and a T2 and I like the T2 a lot more.
People talk about muh astigmatism and this and that but keep in mind you can adjust the brightness. When I use my T2 in the bright sun I'm no where near max brightness.
It's also just very easy to pick up so if you're doing a lot of range ninja stuff and doing Bill drills at 7 yards it's going to be a lot more comfy to use than an RMR on top of an ACOG.
I'd say get the T2 and get comfortable with that and from there you can look into something with real magnification like a 2-10 then you'll have your bases covered for short range fast shooting and long range bench/prone shooting.

They’re the perfect mount honestly. As long as you tightened them correctly they are very difficult to move. You can position them how ever you want and if they get in the way of you removing your can, you just pivot it out of the way.

I’m sure it’s a coincidence.
Somehow these are everyone’s favorite gloves yet I’ve never seen anyone mention them before today when suddenly everyone is shilling them.
>>
>>62705275
Agreed. They’re literal subhumans and I refuse to give them views.
>>
>>62705295
Gloves are consumables, noshoots do not understand this and think they need to spend over a hundred dollars on gloves that will "last" (they won't). Mechanix or milsurp Nomex will always be the best choice for anyone who takes themselves even semi-seriously. If you're a mega poorfag or truly don't give a fuck, those hy flex cutproof work gloves you can buy from the Homeless Deathspot are fine.

If you know someone who actually bought these things you should bully them mercilessly.
>>
>>62705378
I'm not shilling for those ECC gloves but you're full of shit if you think using higher quality materials doesn't make a difference. I've had those shitty spray on gloves die within a few days of moderate use. I've had nicer leather gloves last for years which I only just recently destroyed because of muck drying them out. Yes, gloves are absolutely a consumable item and will wear out. Yes, higher quality materials make the difference.
>>
>>62705378
My OR gloves have held up really well but I got a pair of Mechanix because I think the ORs are too big and I have zero dexterity and need to take them off to do anything. Not sure how much better these Mechanix will be but time will tell.

It is not the SRBS, it is just the "mainline" Rotex PrintX Mini 556 K
I've got around 500 rounds through it so far. Seems to be holding up fine, but that is like infancy tier round counts for a good inconel can from a manufacturer like BT.
Unless you get a QC lemon I'm of the opinion that BT Inconel cans have totally acceptable duty/military grade levels of durability.

Flash reduction so far is acceptable and solid on my 14.5" but is a bit marginal/edge case on my 11.5"
I have only tried various M193 and Wolf 55 grain rounds with it so far. I need to do a more comprehensive assessment using a larger variety of ammunition including heavier grain 75-77grain rounds and dedicated modern defensive ammo like Mk262, Hornady Black, Speer Gold Dot etc.
I'm confident that in the POU of more of blast mitigation device for CQB or team ops it works well even on a short gun. As a genuine signature reduction tool it also does solid on longer guns 14.5" etc.
It seems to leave some to be desired with spark reduction on an 11.5" at least with the ammo I've tested it with.

It should be noted I'm using it with the YHM Kurz Ti suppressor mount and YHM brakes (3 chamber brakes cut down to 2). This means that there is significantly less blast chamber volume and the effective "muzzle" of the barrel is brought even closer to the blast baffle as the Kurz mount is very very short. Also it is still an open question as far as I'm aware just what effect on suppressor spark and flash performance the muzzle device type has. I'm using brakes, but perhaps a flash hider or even "bare" muzzle inside the blast chamber would help? Perhaps it makes no difference and the main issue is the reduction in blast chamber volume and the muzzle being so close to the blast baffle?

Okay good to know thanks! I was concerned it was a floppy POS that didn't really lock down. I also like that it seems like a good weigh to minimize weight and snag hazard and get things tight and low profile.
>G45
I like it so far. The 5x really IMO is real magnification vs the G33 I used to have long ago that felt like it did nothing. The 5x really helps you get a price POA for zeroing your red dot, zeroing lasers etc, and for just engaging further. I was making easy hits at 330yds yesterday on a man sized silhouette steel.
The main issue is that I was previously very satisfied with my Holosun AEMS, but under the G45 magnification the dot gets rather bundle of berries like at least to my fucked up eyes (contacts in), plus the blue tint and slight magnification/distortion/lack of flatness of the AEMS becomes obvious.

The G45 behind my EXPS 3-4 has much nicer sharper POA from dots. Can't speak to clarity, color, or flatness because I didn't actually take the setup out with the EXPS 3-4, just looked at the reticle. I sort of want to switch to an Eotech and try it, but I really hate how Eotech reliability is poor, the battery life is shit, and the durability less than things like the AEMS or micro red dots T2, Holosun etc.

If the issue is blast chamber volume unironically would consider chopping MD to the taper and getting essentially a muzzle nut style muzzle.

Weigh it when you get the chance. That is the CAT AK suppressor right?
What are you putting it on?

I like the YHM Kurz mount setup for weight and length reduction but it appears that on a K can like my BT Mini 556K PrintX Rotex that already is on the marginal edge with flash and spark reduction, that the YHM Kurz mount and muzzle device setup might result in additional flash and spark.

It is light and short and inexpensive though. Adds 1.2oz and 0.25" to OAL of the can.

Not really a thing with a 16" and a FH. Like it is an inconsequential amount of flash for modern NVGs. Flares, Fire, lasers, etc all going to be significantly more damaging to your tubes than an a2 or fh
Especially on a 16" getting near complete burn.

Cans have a like 48hr wait in current year, no reason you shouldnt be into them

If a tier 1 operator bought a dragon dildo and shoved it up his ass, would you do it too?

I'm the anon that cloned your rifle and you should check out the block 2 someday I think you would really like it. I'll always have a soft spot for the DMT carbine but the block 2 is my main squeeze now.
