>Gunna need to see that press release
It's embedded in this article:
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatchewan/rcmp-response-indigenous-man-death-1.3719518
It's literally nothing though, just a dry statement of fact. Chugs were just whining as usual - they phrased their complaint as "it allows the reader to draw the conclusion that the shooting was justified." In other words, the real crime is that wrongthink might happen when the RCMP don't immediately tar and feather anybody who upsets a chug, for any reason.

I don't see the release itself ther, maybe im tard. But eah from what i do see they do just appear to be grasping at straws, they have multiple articles on it lol

Sick. The full-length pic rail basically means nothing since the Weaver rail on the original rifle is basically full length anyway and compatible with 99% of rings, but I really like the MLOK slots on the new rifle. If I was buying today, I'd definitely get that model and mount a scout light

The only thing that aged poorly was the scope. An LPVO or red dot would be objectively better, 100%, but I keep the LER scope just for the old school cool factor. Same reason I own a Colt A2 AR.

For competition, defence, or fighting, yes. For a field rifle though, you don't need to shoot fast, and a more traditional stock is easier to carry. I own a bunch of semi-autos too, I can recognize in which context one style is better than another

Maybe its worse because of the model i have. I got their more expensive "Excel" ones, which place the microphones up higher, on the headstrap; my footsteps sound like they are coming from all directions.
unrelated but another thing i dont like about my model is the startup, everytime i turn them on i have to wait 5 seconds to hear anything while it announces "WALKERS, EXCEL, UNIVERSAL!!!!" before it turns the mics on.

I tried my brothers which look the same as yours and they dont have that stupid startup. but what i dont like about his is that it picks up/amplifies the sound of my breathing.
mine seem to filter out the sound of my breathing, regardless of how high i set the volume.
>>
>>62795592
They do amplify ambient sounds, but if the volume is low enough, I don't find it distracting. If you have them turned up too high, then you'll hear it every time you brush or rustle something. You kind of have to find the balance where you can hear the outside world without distracting yourself, and then you forget you even have them on

They collect water sometimes so as soon as you get them, just drill a couple drainage holes in them. Luckily this solution is covered by warranty so you won't have any issues if you need to have them serviced.
