I've noticed a surprising improvement in my P30's DA/SA trigger feel. It's now at least as good as my USP Match, and almost as good as my Beretta 84BB.
This is all I've done to it:
>start with stock P30
>shoot ~700 rounds
-small improvement at this point, plus getting used to it-
>install gayguns short reset kit
>install HK factory nickel plated sear spring
>clean and lightly lube trigger components and reassemble
-noticeable improvement by this point, expected-
>shoot ~800 more rounds
-another noticeable improvement by this point-
Plus sprinkle in some dry fire practice a few times a week, but on and off.

It started out pretty gritty and underwhelming, but now the trigger is close to what I'd call good (and not just by HK's somewhat reduced standards). What gives? I know round count and dry fire improve trigger feel somewhat, but 1500 rounds is really not a lot in the grand scheme of things. Is that really all it takes, or is this just me getting used to it?

kek, I don't know why, but a disproportionate number of people who like guns seem to live like heuristics are natural physical laws and anecdotes are in depth statistical analysis.
Ironically, these same people are also capable of extreme cognitive dissonance, like you need 15 rounds in a defensive weapon unless it's a revolver or 1911.
There are also incredible levles of brand loyalty to the point of out and out tribalism. For instance, the P320 has gained a reputation forquestionable safety, er go all Sigs are bad and so are people who prefer them. On the other side any criticism of their preferred equipment, however valid, is treated as an attack on their lineage and moral character. It's all pretty funny when you take a step back, but it makes honest discourse difficult. It also creates an environment for toxic people to revel in a toxic feedback loop and it can become tiresome.

To be honest, I kind of regret this since it’s the pinnacle of handguns. There isn’t much reason to buy anything else now. How can I gunsoom when I know they’re inferior to the NIGHTHAWK CUSTOM PREDATOR?

I had the kernal of that though in a gun store while discussing AR vs AK long before 4chan was even a thing. This retarded competition for attention only confirms my hypothesis.

I hate to admit it, but on a square range paper target gungammer level, this is pretty true. IDK if I'd be willing to put my life on the line with it, but it's an extremely well crafted handgun. I wouldn't personally drop that kind of coin on a gun, but if you can properly afford it, go you.

Mentally most adult men are not adults until 25-30, this thread and the younger gun owning community in general shows this. When someone who can't control their appetite can hold off on endless attention whore shitposting but random young adults can't that speaks volumes.
>>
>>62884805
Not that faggot, but I've never even shot a P30, and every HK I've ever fired (mostly USPenis) have been well above average. I am skeptical they had a P320 drop on quality during that design iteration.

I’m not willing to put my life on the line yet with it, I need to fix up the mags with some new internals and tune the extractor a little more but it handles Winchester Service Grade like a champ. A thought is in my mind that I would have been just as happy with a Staccato, Platypus, or Prodigy even but in a few months you’ll see why I purchased this thing, it’s the double stack twin to my other one.

>>62884802
Meme, it’s only fluted in the barrel hood. If it was fully fluted it has some benefits like reduce mass, more surface area for cooling, debris can migrate to the flutes and not get in the way.

>>62884839
>USPenis
>above average
I mean, a well worn in USP is probably above average in the SA department but my standard of DA pulls is based off Beretta 92s, PX4s, and the P226. The USP DA pull isn’t in the same league as those.

>>
>>62884351
It’s not a meme that trigger components wear in after enough rounds/dryfires. My first gun which was a M9A3 with a LTT trigger job I later installed has a fucking amazing trigger after thousands of rounds and tens of thousands of dry fires. During Covid I just sat and dry fired it all day

All except one or two, realistically. It's sad because one of them is the first pistol I ever owned, even though it's just a Glock 19. I don't shoot it at all anymore since it's my only striker fired gun and I really just prefer to carry and shoot DA/SA pistols and revolvers. On practical grounds, I feel I should sell it to free up some space and cash for things I care more about. I just haven't gotten around to it and sometimes I give myself a hard time with "oh but it was my first pistol, that's important for reasons"

Even if it's not unique? It's not like it was given to me. The only thing special about it is that it was my first pistol. It wasn't even my first choice but I needed a pistol and that's what was available.

Now that I spell it out, that could be reason enough to keep it...
>>
>>62885383
That gun was there for you when you had no gun. You went from noguns to hasguns because of it. Even if you never shoot it again, it's worth keeping as a milestone. Plus it's not like you'd get a lot anyway for it and it isn't taking up a lot of space.

Depends on your situation. Do you want a 1911 because:
Cheap gun just to say you want a 1911 (most common):
>Turkshit
Gun you want in your carry rotation and to take to the range often (most retarded)
>springfield garrison or any other 700-900 dollar 1911 from sig, colt, springfield, etc.
Gun you want to perform decently well, carry it exclusively, maybe dabble in competition, and post on instagram covered in snow (retarded but fine if you're honest to yourself)
>2000+ dollar 2011 like a staccato
Gun you simply want because you like to spend money and look cool, never fire it, keep it in a shadow box and show it off to guests to your dinner parties,
>4000+ custom guns, nighthawk or atlas or whatever those fancy 2011s that are for "competition" but never actually use them

As an aside, Kimber has a very large stranglehold on the 1911 guns that are available. They're always around 1000-1500 dollars, and half of them are actually dogshit bordering on non-functional. Just skip them entirely at this point.
Modern made kimbers are fine, but their reputation is cratered so NOBODY will be impressed at your amazing looking kimber, they'll be impressed it actually works.

I did my research and I'm ok with people rolling their eyes if i talk about mine. It does exactly what i want it to and was at the exact price i was willing to pay.

In the mid range of 1911s I put it you’re paying for
>place of manufacture
>finish
>specific features
Since Tisas deliver extremely good (for the price) 1911s in the 300-400 dollar range. What the Springfield Garrison brings is a blued finish and modern features. Garrison is a good choice, beavertail safety, Novak sights, good looking. If you don’t care about place of manufacture I would recommend looking at the Tisa Enhanced Duty, it has a checkered front strap, stainless steel frame and controls and a fiber optic and blacked out rear sights in a “ledge” or “battle sight” configuration where you can use the rear sight to rack the slide one handed against a hard surface.
>>
>>62885811
Hello, freind. I am the anon who was looking for a 1911 in the last thread. I looked at the Garrison briefly, but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. It is about the same price as the Colt, but it comes with a bunch of upgrades, including a skeletonized hammer and trigger, an extended Beavis tail and Novak style sites. It's a really nice gun and I'm looking for something a bit more basic, but if you are looking for those features it is a great value to have them already installed.
I don't have any time with one, but someone in the last thread said that if it gives you trouble, you can send it back to Springfield and they will tune it for you. I'm sorry I can't help more. Good luck.

Atomitronx (Fred Craig, guy who designed the RIA 5.0) is starting production on a new series of Merc pistols. He mentioned one will have a rotating barrel and one will be gas operated and he's doing a limited run of one with dual gas pistons. idk what form these will even take lol they're not on the website. But he says they start at $4,800 (yikes) up to $6,500 (1 large yike) and shoot flatter than a limited 2011 weighing almost twice as much

I guess that Ayy will have to go on hold

If we are being completely honest with ourselves here >I just like it. is the only real reason to carry one over something else and it's not an extremely compelling reason. It's serviceable, but there are smaller, lighter guns that are just as if not more effective. It's now the "wrong" choice, but it's not the best either.

Not him but only issue would be capacity and drop safety. Most 1911s is drop safe EXCEPT if dropped muzzle straight down where the firing pin has enough inertia to penetrate a primer.

1911s carry well since they’re naturally slim since they’re single stack. 5 inch 1911s are rather long for carry since it’ll make sitting uncomfortable depending on carry position. A shorter 1911 would be more comfortable, but below 4 inches it becomes harder to get them to run right due to the cycling window being smaller or whatever.

Whan they originally came out, I want to say 1997 98 maybe? I haven't had a VCR hooked up for a lonnnggg time but my recollection is that that change hadn't taken place yet. The Special Editions were still in flux at the time, I recall Greedo's scene being altered several times and the ROTJ end music changing a couple times and other changes afterward

I have the final pre-Special versions on VHS somewhere but I can't find em...

Anyway yeah that's the second most jarring change. Like why would Luke see someone he's never seen? He saw an old man die. Wouldn't he be like "who the fuck are you?" Obiwan doesn't look like Ewan McGregor. Yoda doesn't look like Grogu. Luke himself doesn't look like the mophaired moisture farmer.

Not really, I was hoping to stay under 60 euros. I'm talking about serious budget shit, but to be fair, maybe I just accept twisting the lens off and recharging the c123. I just have a cheap handheld flashlight that came with a usb cable and it kinda spoiled me.

I bought it as a good condition LE trade in. At first I was going to convert it to DA/SA, but my previous carry guns were striker fire so I like the consistent pull of the DAK trigger. The flat trigger was intended to reduce the trigger pull by adding more leverage being farther forward. I had to have it hand fitted as it didn't drop in. The mainspring cup is titanium, the spring guide rod is stainless. The locking block and barrel feed ramps were polished. It's a great carry gun and I already want another project P220, probably a DA/SA next time and get a hand fitted match barrel with intent on use as a target gun. Probably getting an RMR cut on the next one too.

Damn, that one looks nice. I've been skeptical of turkshit before and I'm happy with my TRP but that has pretty much every feature I'd want on a railless 'tactical' 1911. At this point Tisas is probably going to wipe out the entire low-end and entry-level 1911 market.

They won’t, people buy 1911s because of patriotism since it’s an undoubtedly American firearm. Iconic. So there’s this major “it has to be made in America” thought to it. I was pretty close to calling Wilson Combat and Nighthawk to see where do they get their steel or at least who do they source slides from to find out if the steel used is American.
>>
>>62886756
Well they could just start a new brand with a sufficiently legacy brand-sounding name and continue importing that way. Rock Islands are made in the Philippines after all and Springfields were either fully made in Brazil or imported the forgings and then finished them here until the mid 2010s.

The Sig P220 10mm, does anyone here have one? I was doing research and I have saw a few P220s that broke the takedown lever and one that the decocking lever broke. I looked into it more and the takedown lever is made in India along with a few other MIM parts. Have you had any issues out of yours? Is it foolish to think parts will still be available in 10-20 years since some parts are different from the more common 45 ACP variant? Also is the finish/coating on it durable? I wish it was not coated with anything, I think stainless looks great. It's the only all steel 10mm besides Dan Wesson or Tangfolio I have saw in current production. Do you guys think this is a poor purchase?
>>
>>62886788
Ah yes I too like as much recoil as possible. For me it's more enjoyable the more recoil there is without also benefiting from the additional muzzle energy of larger calibers. Yessir I'd like to design a .22 with a compound pulley system and electric motor that increases its recoil to .45 levels and agitates the gun substantially while maintaining the same bullet weight and velocity. More recoil, more muzzle movement, more disruption, that's the key to a good shooting gun as well as enjoyment and success in shooting. I can't fathom why anyone would desire less recoil per caliber. CRAZIES!
>>
>>62886826

None of the parts are necessarily made in india. All the small parts are made in a number of countries, including india, but most parts are made in the US. It's impossible to know which ones are made where in an assembled gun because they're not marked like aftermarket baggies are.

Also I find it hard to believe a decocking lever broke, how did that happen? That's an extremely low stress part that's made from stamped sheet metal which is not typically a manufacturing process sent out to india (not that it can't be). Despite this I think as long as you don't overpay it can be a good buy.

And yeah there's at least one among the regulars maybe 2. They didn't respond last time though

Unless you love the looks idk why you'd buy a single stack that isn't a 1911. Bonus for the 1911 is you'll be able to get parts for centuries. Also don't support Cohen but that's just my opinion.

I only had the .45 variant but I wasn't really a fan.
>Also is the finish/coating on it durable? I wish it was not coated with anything,
It's cerakote and because it's all over the rails (at least on mine, Sig is inconsistent about cerakoting the frame rails on their guns that have them) it basically had a break-in period on mine and had some failures to return to battery. I wish they'd just tried to get their PVD right instead of just deciding 'fuck it' and going for cerakote.
>I think stainless looks great.

I bought comps to see if they work. I do not use them on any of my guns and I don’t bring my comped 92 to the range. Also on that note, it’s enjoyable and thought provoking to try to tame higher recoil through skill/comps/spring systems/inate firearm design versus buying pipsqueak baby loads. I brought my Sentinel .45 to the range the other day, the huge muzzle flash brings a smile to my face.

>.45 with the recoil of a 9mm: :O
>9mm with a recoil reducing mechanism: >:(((
Yes. One of the “bad” things about 10mm or .45 is their recoil and slower follow up shots. If you could tame that recoil then those rounds would be more practical. If you made 9mm easier to shoot, you don’t get that much more out of it.

Like if you had a super easy to shoot 9mm, training with it is just poking perfect holes in paper, it’ll hide issues with your shooting technique. You need to shoot it versus other guns, shoot higher recoil ammunition to see what you’re really doing. If you handed an open gun to a new shooter, they wouldn’t even be able to use it to 1/4 of its potential.

I think having a super low recoil gun in your arsenal is important for training, so you can train the other parts of shooting at speed while having to fight less muzzle flip vs your duty style pistol. I just don’t see the point in a super duper recoil reducing system in a caliber you can just buy super lightly loaded ammo in.

>Is the hype real or is H&K like the Supreme of guns and I'm paying for brandname prestige and mediocrity?
Yes and no. The P30 is a very reliable firearm, but everything other than that is meh. I think the ergos might be good, it has a nice decocker location, but if you were looking for a good trigger out of the box then you bought the wrong gun. Apparently the trigger gets better over time, or that's a cope.

They used to be super cheap until John Wick used one in John Wick 1.

The sear cage is a nightmare yes, and so are the hammer pins. It's not as plug and play as a Langstein Trigger Con in a Sack but it DOES make quite a noticeable difference to the gross CZ factory trigger. I opted not to get the whole kit but I think I went too far with the short reset kit which did almost nothing. The $88 hammer made a yuge difference though and a $10 hammer spring is a no brainer improvement. As mentioned I don't have the whole kit but from what I feel out of the hammer, spring and reset kit I think it's massive diminishing returns after the hammer and spring.

I got the impression the pro shop ones are nicer as well.

Younger folks working at my lgs (that i trust a great deal) were adamant that Kimbers got returned more often than any other 1911 and had a history of problems like rust and malfunctions on new guns. they decided not to be a master dealer after enough bullshit from the company. Then at sportsmans warehouse the boomer at the counter told me he personally owned 40 kimber pistols and sold them at the store all the time and got visibly unnerved and ticked off when I started asking questions about the reliability. Online forums seem to suggest that old kimbers were fine, and post covid ones are 50/50 on whether or not the gun is a lemon out of the box. Apparently kimber makes more production 1911s than any other company, so I wonder if the reputation has something to do with there just being more of them out there.

I must admit that aesthetics play a big role in what I want to buy, but reliability is a non negotiable for me in this purchase. I don't like the looks of the turkish guns, springfields, or RIA. I'm not a fan of the big 'DESERT EAGLE' on the slide of the magnum research. Kimber just looks right to me aesthetically. Anyone here bought one in the last year or so that can chime in with your experience? Would you ever carry one? I'd like to spend less than $1200.

Got the brass backstrap on the PX4, gun feels a little more balanced but it's not that heavy. It's not retained with that stupid spring anymore, it uses a roll pin like god intended. Might get the gayguns trigger even though I dislike that boomer. I'll definitely be getting it circumsized for an optic by our favorite rabbi next year.

I realize this gun looks even more dysgenic now. I'm sure all the gay people ITT can appreciate this ugly duckling like they do you know who.

Chicken strips and fries are merely shovels with which you can transport ranch into your mouth.

9mm is gonna be the peak for a long time until massive leaps are made in ammo/handgun tech. 9mm as it stands is the best "bang for your buck" with minimal recoil, good capacity, and acceptable wounding capability. It's also rooted in the firearms industry like the Tree of Yggdrasil, so it's going to take something absolutely incredible in the world of handguns to dethrone it.

Within the 21st century, I expect a SCHV round similar to 5.7x28 to overtake it, but it's going to be in a gun vastly different from the current polymer framed striker fired pistols we have now. It'll need some kind of recoil mitigation tech when you're throwing a ~45gr bullet at ~2600 fps, because that's what it's going to take to finally ditch 9mm.

Hard to definitively judge how they compare. The lokgrip texture gets more aggressive closer to the spine, which does feel slightly more grippy but the sides almost not as much. However, there is texture on basically the entire lokgrip where the OEM one is slippery on a decent chunk of area. I'd say it feels slightly more grippy but that's pretty subjective.

>>62888105
Interesting. 9mm is pretty easy to control but the less work you have to do the better.

You don't need to peel it. Use a razor. Start with the seam at the bottom then work the blade up the gap little by little on each side. Once you cut an inch up it becomes easy to get to the top seam. Then peel one of the backstrap texture leafs back to find the top seam and cut, then it will come off. Also the trick to fix the peeling is to use a heat gun.

>>62888113
Oh. That's different than what he said. Training with pissin hots is nice sometimes. Most of my range toys are comped or heavy so it doesn't really matter that much. It's fun having it be way louder and not much more recoil on my Staccato. On my lower mitigation guns and carry it's good for training what self defense ammo will really shoot like. My carry is ported though because I'd choose no recoil if it were possible.

>>
>>62888227
I thought about buying one anyway and then just sending it off for nitriding or DLC but at that point I'm only a few hundred more away from Staccato money.
>>
>>62888185
Serrations are the optimal choice. They create the maximum amount of friction for a single direction. Since you exclusively pull the slide one way, it gives you maximum grip in 100% of uses. Any other slide texture is either a stylistic choice or an attempt to reinvent the wheel.
>>
>>62888230
I'm not even sure if that will fuck with the tolerances though. The annoying thing is it's carbon steel and not stainless so raw isn't an option either. I want to make mine two tone next year if PVD coatings are possible.

I've got a sick ass build idea for my Apollo but that one will probably follow the prodigy.
>>
>>62888230
idk if you can coat anything over paint, or if you can idk if it's wise because the paint under will be softer than the new coating. You can't really remove it either, it's too tenacious for anything but sandblasting and then you're losing tolerances on all surfaces "cleaned"

I think the Prodigy should be a turnkey gun. I spent a lot of EGW stuff and it was totally unnecessary. If the gun works, use it as is, not as a bed for modification, because unless the factory parts break they actually feel really good

I took two girls to the shooting range and they were impressed with my shooting. One of them it was their first time and her first shots with a .22 glock pistol were amazing. First shot hit way too low, every follow up shot was clustering around the center area of the target she was shooting at.

Other girl had some pistol experience but it was on revolvers and she was holding the glock all wrong but I corrected her grip and she did well also.

Then I had both fire my Hellcat. The girl who had never shot before nearly dropped the thing on the first shot. Her grip on it was so poor and it never malfunctioned. Both of them fired about 20 or so rounds through the Hellcat with 0 malfunctions despite them not having experience on shooting such a small micro 9 and one of them having no experience at all. Was really happy about my Hellcat not malfunctioning despite the very obvious limp wristing.

Whatever, I don’t like being to harsh. If there was a second meat target your probably blow through that one too. That’s not good.
>>
>>62888361
NTA, Overpen is a very minimal risk within reason. Up to 24" is acceptable before you've made a critical error in ammo selection (like using hard cast). If you assume you exit the body at the 18" equivalent, the bullet only has 6" of penetrating power left, which is non-lethal. Regular .380 FMJ hits 24" consistently, which actually makes it a pretty good option.

I highly doubt it because 9mm has pretty much cornered everything from full size to compact to subcompact to micro.
Never mind that it is also the ammo for subguns like the SP5, Scorpion and whatever Beretta is making now.
I like shooting .45 from my USP and 1911, and .38 and .357 are great to shoot (.44 is a little too nasty IMO) and eventually I'll have something in .40 S&W but at the end of the day I'm crawling back to 9mm, particularly 9mm being shot out of the 92FS family.

This did get a little tighter once I installed the sight-to-plate screws, but lul. How hard can it be to make a piece of aluminum flat, especially for $600-$800? The window is also very blue/green. Feels like I'm watching a digital movie from the 20 teens. I'll see how I like it when I shoot with it some. I'm mostly curious about the auto adjusting brightness when used in conjunction with a WML. Did you put the base of the RMR on a mirror? It might be your optics plate or slide cut or even just the tension of the screws or lugs. The front of the cut doesn't appear to be in full contact with the slide in some places. Making things is hard, especially if you have to hold tight tolerances.

I didn't think to put my pistol dot on a mirror, because none of my other dots have needed such a bizarre validation prior to install. Once I got the RMR HD on and saw the light gaps, I thought about doing such a check last night, but I was pretty annoyed with the whole thing by that point and the thought of prying the dot off (it's in there very snug, even without the screws) sounded like I'd be more likely to fuck it up, so I just left it on and screwed it in. The plate and the slide cut fit perfectly, with 0 light shinning through between them. I emailed the guy who made the plate, Forward Control Designs, and he told me SROs and RMR HDs aren't always flat on the bottom and I could set it on a kitchen counter to verify this. Again though, by this point the dot was on there SNUG and I didn't want to damage it by trying to pry it off, so I just said fuck it and screwed it on at this point. He says this is purely cosmetic and nothing to worry about. I didn't know how good I had it with Ping Ping ×:

>>62889225

>>62889231
It's not. The sealing plate is for models that have open access to the batteries on the bottom (i.e. not SROs or RMR HDs). It's also laughable that Trijewcon doesn't include that as a part with the models that do require it.

I just purchased a new S&W handgun. I keep track of anything I buy if it has a warranty. I want to add my new gun to my warranty list but it looks like you need to register the gun with S&W to use the warranty? I don't like the idea of registering my guns.

Does anyone know if I actually need to do this? And if I do, can I just do it if the gun has a problem in the future? Like 10 years from now if it has a problem can I just register it then? Or does it need to be registered soon for the warranty to cover it?

You have to register the serial to you, if you filled out a 4473 for the gun then the serial is already associated to you but it takes extra steps. The atf knows that serial was sent to that gun store, they do a records request to that gun store asking for the serial, the gunstore will comply and give your name and contact information. Registering a warranty is no issue, they already have their methods

You guys are acting like there's only a single loading of .380 and 9mm. There are some .380 loadings that perform better 9mm loadings. However, the best 9mm loadings will outperform ALL .380 loadings even the best .380 loadings.

The point here is there is nuance. You can select a .380 loading that performs better than many 9mm loadings, about as good as an average "acceptable for self defense" 9mm loading. This will serve you absolutely fine and let you carry something like a BG2.0 while retaining the firepower of an acceptable 9mm loading. Yes, it will be weaker than the better 9mm loadings, but it wouldn't be dishonest to say "it will perform similar to 9mm if you shoot a human with it" because it actually will do that if you selected the right loading.

Pic related is one such loading.

AGAIN I AM NOT SAYING .380 IS BETTER THAN 9MM OR JUST AS GOOD READ THE POST AND DON'T SKIM IT.

Obviously the steel slide means you should run hot normal pressure or +p. That’s not a bad thing because it gives the colt decent power
>>
>come back after a few threads
>it’s a ppanon seethe episode
Anyway, ppanon is correct in my opinion. The difference between a sufficiently penetrating .380 and 9mm will be negligible. Two .32 or .380 fmj will outperform a single “greatest” 9mm hollow point.
Most of these rounds are just hole pokers so a gun you can shoot fast and accurately with while meeting penetration standards is all you need and ppanon’s choices are fine for that.
Capacity is important too, but it certainly isn’t everything.
>>
>>62890672
Yeah sorry everyone in the business of killing things uses expanding projectiles. If you use FMJ to hunt, people will call you inhumane.
>>
>>62890706
If I’m hunting with a handgun, I’m using hard cast, wide(r) diameter cartridges like .45 and 10mm.
I’m also not taking any shots unless they’re close enough and in proper alignment for me to almost guarantee a well placed shot in the kill zone. Hunting is a completely different world than self defense.
But, I agree that professionals are using hollow points for defense because they are better, but that doesn’t make a .32 or .380 ball any less effective, they’re just not the ideal choice. If you’re using a 100 year old gun, the “non ideal” choice is a given, but it really doesn’t matter that much in the end id the gun is reliable and you can hit where you need to hit with it.
>>

>>
>>62890759
People who carry duty weapons demand more versatility. Auto glass and barriers become a factor.
Pure self defense is much less hampered by smaller, less versatile rounds.
I personally wouldn’t even carry expanding ammo in my pea shooter. I want many deep holes in the bad guys critical areas. They will be just as dead as a 9mm.

Or did you perhaps mean it in regard to the “professionals (people in the kill business) use hollow points” statement which I agreed with in which case would oust you as a retard?
I simply said .32 and .380 are fine if you can hit what needs to be hit. If you can shoot them better than 9mm they are in fact better… for DEFENSE, not a duty round which requires versatility.

And when it does happen, you don't go to prison for it. The odds of this happening are so low I'd rather just carry what I train with.

No one will know if it was an over pen or a missed round that hit a bystander until a through investigation that’ll conclude after the story has left the spot light.

It runs fiocchi and Remington standard pressure fine, and gets low recoil (both are nice since they get over 1000fps and penetrate deeply). I’d rather than than not being able to run over pressure and high recoil.
>>62890804
It would be a downgrade. I could put a 32 spring in but then it would add frame stress and make it bad to run over pressure. I do have the spring but it’s not worth it to run shitty ammo. Weak 380 will often under penetrate anyways.

I switched out the spring in my PPK for a 380. I would rather drop the recoil and make running European and +p 32 less stressful on the frame than run shitty underloaded 32 which won’t wound well enough.
This way it has better wounding potential than my LCP, isn’t much bigger, but still has lower recoil and better handling.

Big spring, big bullet.
You need that to maximize the limited power of 380/32.

Man, I think you are over thinking it. Handguns are all kinda shit. The most important thing is putting bullets where you want them. A few extra FPS is really pretty marginal, even if you can test and quantify it.
>>
>>62891027
Run non joke ammo and it’s okay. Fiocchi and Remington standard and anything not underloaded doesn’t have this problem.
If you want to pay more for low recoil ammo use it on an LCP. Recoil is already low even with hot 380.

Idk. That Paul Harrell 32 video showed shitty underloaded tomcat safe 32 out of snub barrel barely outperforms 25.
But there’s other videos showing full power 32 penetrating deeply and screw or flat nose designs fucking a target over.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eGKBTDcKbc
32 feels marginal in that depending on load and gun you either get +p25 performance or solidly 32 magnum performance. So I definitely want to be on the 32 mag end since 8 shots of that is quite decent for a pocket gun.

>>62889688
It's black-on-stainless which is very gaudy, but it's a mass produced chemically etched matte finish instead of polished shiny or engraved with man-hours so the cheapness/halfassedness juxtaposes with the implied ostentatiousness. Rugers, AMT Laseraims also have this vibe

Hey, look I found it pretty easy.
I got my gun back from Walther yesterday. Instead of just replacing the $5 striker guide like I would have, they replace the entire $65 striker assembly, which is nice. They arranged and paid shipping and it took almost exactly a week to turn around. The best part is, I'm not even the original owner.
This got me thinking what do other manufacturers offer?

Everyone likes him or is indifferent. There are just a few of you reppers who are obsessed with him. Case in point, (you), sitting here still going on and on about him in a long dead thread.

You've been in these threads for how long and you think people actually like her? Absolutely delusional lmao. At best people have her filtered out completely and so don't even see her posts, and at worst they actively hate her and will shit on her at every chance they get.

He's just flirting with you, PPanon. I can't imagine why anyone would dedicate so much effort to (you) farming one person.
Gay crush confirmed.

Yeah I like it. it didn't come with the grayguns short reset trigger like the da/sa did for some reason but I'm planning on buying one for my SAO soon. Doesn't have much recoil because of the weight, has less than my p938. Makes me feel cool when my friends and I go hiking and they have plastic guns. It isn't super practical for everyday carry though so I'm buying a p226 legion da/sa in 9mm to be practical but still cool. It's a good shooter, I'm going to put some better parts in it and a micro red dot at some point. I don't regret my purchase.

Let me guess, you need more?

>>
lol, you guys are still in here flirting? That's pretty cute.
>>
>>62893555
That's pretty sweet, anon. Is it all stainless? I took my all stainless P229 on a day hike today and damn, that bitch heavy, lol. I like the P226 because it's noticeably more slim, but the P229 is shorter. If you can find a REAL P228, it's as slim as the P226 and about as short at the P229. The new ones are just a non rail P229 with an insane price tag.
