The two actions of double action trigger are
1) Firing the damn gun, hammer or not
2) Rotating cylinder, a feeding action
All semi auto handguns are single action only.

They’re actually almost the same width depending on the 1911 grips. Being too thin is a problem actually

The one in the picture, you can see the safety and slide stop don’t really protrude that much differently from a 1911’s.

Not just a contrarian, but a contrarian about a gun only a handful of people actually really like too. Its funny watching noshoots terminally online retards all of a sudden think Berettas are more common than Glocks all because their handgun exposure starts and ends here.
>>
>>64596899
Dubs of truth.
>>
>>64597395
Berettas are fine, but they are over represented here.

>>
>>64597927
What attracts /hg/ to Berettas?
>>
>>64597929
With a trigger job they are basically more reliable 2011s in terms of size and use cases. They're the easiest metal frame hammer fired gun to work on in terms of parts and ease of installing parts. Before Langdon became the name for custom Berettas anons were buying Berettas for cheap and getting really nice performance out of them for less than 100 bucks of parts.
>>
Why the fuck are USP mags so expensive? It's a 30 year old gun that they've never stopped making since it came out.

Story time, /hg/ hot off the press. I hope someone will find enjoyment at my fucking expense:
>local gun store running ads for beretta sale
>$627 OTD for new Italian 92fs
>inlikeflynn.jpg
>call and reserve, good to go
>go to pick up the pistol yesterday
>it's a USA made, not Italian
>sales dude starts fumbling "Uhhh.. Uhh.. it's just luck of the draw, man they're the same anyway"
>i tell him the advertisement and the picture clearly showed italian made. if it's US made i'll still take it but not paying $627
>his eyes get as big as grapefruit and he tells me the price is actually $702, the $627 is with the beretta discount (which expired 11/30/25 so it isn't valid anyway)
>i laugh in his face, shake my head, tell him to keep it
Fucking gun stores man. Never again. This is why I haven't bought a gun in a physical store in 10+ years. Worse than fucking used car salesmen.
>>
>>64598343
Reminds me of when some boomer decided to turn a consignment piece Sako into a display item. He left the 2000s era price tag on it, 750. I almost bought it until he saw the wagie ringing me up post 4473 and voided the sale. Fuck local gun stores I didn't even know that was possible
>>
>>64598360
My favorite part is that they have the oldest, dumbest boomers working there that think they're smarter than you about everything. Since I don't walk around with a cowboy hat and a drop leg holster apparently I don't know a thing about guns.
Anyhow, I'm over it. Like I said I wouldn't mind if it was a US made 92fs but I'll be damned if I'm paying over $700 for one.

I like collecting guns but when it comes to something like this I'd probably sell the PSA and keep the Ruger.

The PSA doesn't do anything the Ruger doesn't do better and it has no other value, not even worth keeping for the lulz

I wouldn't make the same argument everywhere, e.g. if you were asking to sell a 686 cause you got a Python I'd say to keep both because they are the same, but still very different and very cool. Hell, I'd say if it were between the RXM and an M&P I'd still say keep both. But a PSA and just about anything else? Nah, it's a budget Glock clone, and a meh one at that. The RXM is a slightly more expensive Glock clone, but a much, much better one.

It's just contrarianism latching onto a thing because it isn't popular anymore. I still remember when the CZ 75 was the board's darling pistol. In the same way that people babble about the 92, people would wax lyrical about how nice the grip was, the "low" bore axis, and defend the rough machining marks on the inside of the gun. Basically replace LTT with CZC and Cajun and Die Hard screenshots like >>64598343 with pictures from Gunsmith Cats.

But, then CZs got popular on reddit and the people here couldn't pretend like they had some sort of gnostic high ground over normies and moved on.

They're nominally $35, that's not expensive first off. On top of that you paid 2x what the pistol was worth, ~$800, but spending $10 more per magazine, once, is over the line? We're talking about $50 if you buy 5 extra mags (you won't buy that many). How is ≤$50 a problem but ≥$800 isn't? Have some perspective dude

Now the trans mags, those are expensive

>A summary of bitches.
Basically, Asians are the many plastic fantastic wonder 9s, because they *can* look pretty with a bunch of bullshit tacked on, but stock, they are pretty meh. There is also about a billion too many of them floating around.
White girls are revolvers because they are either really good or really bad. They are both the prettiest and the ugliest. The most and least useful and/or desirable. The Korth and the Taurus Public Defender Poly.
Black girls are like Charter Arms guns. They are either non-niggerized and reliably act like a productive member of society/the gun safe or are unreliable, loud, and obnoxious pieces of shit. Either way, you have to thoroughly vet them to make sure they dont start acting up before you allow one into your life, because a lot fall into the latter category.
Latinas are 1911s. They can be gorgeous, but put too much ricer bullshit on them and they look like jokes. They have a good base and are pretty reliable, but certain individuals can really act up. The bad ones are really bad, but most are above average.

What are your favorite flavors and what guns are they most like? There are plenty that I didn't bother with. What are Indian chicks? Arabs? Jews? The dark asians? Find out in the next episode of who's your daddy???
>>
Just ordered the $300 Beretta Model 84 BB Police Trade in from Palmetto State. I'm slightly nervous because the reviews are all over the place. Some say theirs is like factory new, others show pics of them beat to shit. Either way it's only $300. Almost bought the OD Green 92fs but wanted something smaller for CC and it was half the price.
IF it's in good enough condition I might slap these wood grips on it. If it's too beat I'll throw it in the back of the vault for a few years and sell it for $500 or so.

I actually have an OG Beretta New Puma that, if not for its dumbass push bar grip safety that's impossible to push like a normal gun, would still make a great little carry pistol. I think the newer same sized Puma type Beretta actually has a slide mounted safety like you see on most Beretta pistols.

I've seriously considered getting either a 9mm USP or .40 S&W USP to complement my USP45
>>
>>64599499
How’s your Colt?
>>
>>64599499
Is it the USP45 that can take supers without modification or is that the HK45 or MK23? I don't really keep up with HK stuff.
>>
>>64599709
Any .45 ACP can take .45 Supers, HK just says it won’t blow the gun up but says “increased wear” and more frequent parts replacement, I think it’s suggested to increase the recoil spring weight. 1911s will do .45 Supers with a spring change and “increased wear”
>>
>>64599715
How much is the wear increased? I thought that 1911s in 10mm cracked frames. I would imagine that 45 super would be even more damaging than 10mm or am I overestimating 45 super? How much stronger is 45 super than 45acp+P anyway?
>>
>>64598741
You know that 90's fashion is the new craze right now, right? It only makes sense that 90's firearms are making a comeback as well.
>>
>>64599741
1911s cracked frames since the strength of frames were worse in the old days, I guess bad/cheap frames will do the same, many 1911s still cargo cult the Colt fix of cutting the portion out.

.45 Super has a wide range of loads, it could be loaded to .460 Rowland pressures if you wanted to as it’s almost the same case if not the same case with a slight length difference. I think it was MAC in his .460 Rowland video the .45 Supers he was testing were barely faster than .45 +P. Probably more that the .45 +P were actually hot loads.
>>
>>64599481
Same I just learned of the 84s existence a week or two ago, been doing tons of reaearch. There's 100 videos on youtube specifically about the 84s from Palmetto state and it seems 90% positive.
Super familiar with Beretta 92s from my army days, but wanted something smaller and cheap for a daily carry. Pumas are nice, I really like the new Cheetahs too which are an updated 84 platform.
>>
>>64599741
I mean as long as it’s a good forged frame/slide the 1911 should be just fine with any ammo provided the spring is made for it

Shut up I’m coping. Genuinely none of it would be an issue if Colt had some semblance of QC, since they’re all such easy fixes and well known by now
>>
>>64599925
Yeah the Wilson rear sight is great, it was a game changer for my 4.25" polished stainless python.

Btw I love those pachmayr gripper grips, they really pay homage to the original anaconda. Do you shoot yours often? If you were buying a new one for the first time would you go with the 6" or the 4.25"?
>>
>>64599935
They require attention from the gunsmith who fits them, there are some fixes but those require changing the 1911 design.

People could have fixed them. The triggers could have turned into self contained unit cassettes (Nighthawk DTS), the extractors could have been external (JMB did this in the beginning, a few other brands do it too), the stupid plunger tube could have been apart of the frame (Caspian does this, so do 2011s), the barrels could have integral feed ramps so the angle is less dependent on the frame manufacturer and it’s on the barrel. Higher quality machines could cut the magazine release in the correct spot so frames don’t have so many variances

The 2011 fix a few of these, most 2011s have external extractors, infinity actually has a nifty external extractor and swappable breech face so the same slide can shoot every caliber.

I can't believe that there are people that shoot magnums and don't handload. Shit is too expensive to just buy. My revolvers eat 98% handloads and only occasionally shoot various defensive loads to check POI. Hell, the only ammo that I buy more than handload is 9mm, 410 bore, and 22lr.
>>
>>64599955
All of that is completely unnecessary. Literally the only thing that’s needed is the “main” manufacturer, Colt in this case, to actually have QC and care over the materials used at least to the level of Glock or walther or something, and 1911s would be perfectly fine and probably enjoy a similar reputation to Glocks

Got a few questions. I have a Glock 19 gen 3 frame and need a slide for it. Should I just get an oem or a RXM slide for it? Since its almost Christmas I want to give my sister a gun. Do Glocks/Glock clones misfire when limp wristed? Took her shooting a little while ago and it kept happening with my Beretta. Would there be any better alternatives I could give her? Something easier to control maybe in .380

>>
>>64600311
>>64600336
How would the scratch get back there unless you forced the slide off with a mag inserted? The scratch would only be an inch long or so, from the breech face back to half the depth of the mag body at most, maybe 3/4".

You sure the wear on the mag isn't from you doing that? The wear on the slide is.
>>
Now the replacement Loader, the J2 works PERFECTLY with my LCRx. The original J1 would bind hard.

>>64600413
I thought I had a pic but I guess I don't. Anyway there is a failure mode where the slide can hit and hang up on the rear of the magazine, one of my PPQs did that because the mag was not held centrally in the frame, and when it tilted to one side the slide would bang it. But that doesn't look like your issue.

Pic related is what it looks like when you try to jam the slide off without taking out the mag first. In every gun I've been dumb enough to oops this on, the slide can't physically be removed with a mag inserted, it binds hard. So if that's what happened, God damn you really forced it lol
>>
>>64600311
>>64600336
Are you retarded? Everyone says to use the micro dagger 15 rounders and that the shield arms are pure trash.
>>
>>64600413
It probably is as I had to rip the slide off at one point due to a round jamming the breech and it would just not open. In my Hulk mode, I left the mag in lmao.
However, the 2 other mags I have are wearing at the same spot and were also having that issue of returning to battery. OEM mags seem to work fine. I'm just guessing I have a shit batch.
>>
>>64600438
After playing with my J frames, it has become clear that the J1 is spaced for an SP101 whereas the J2 is spaced for an LCR. Both technically CAN work with a j frame, but neither work especially well, though the J2 Seems to work better with a J frame and perfectly with an LCR. (Which is kinda nice because there aren't a whole lot of speed loaders that work with a J frame.)
>>
>>64599349
Btw Burt I goofed, my swampfox sentinel didn't break, the battery shook loose and lost contact. I guess because it doesn't sit flush with the bottom of the optic there was enough room to get loose. Still gonna replace it with a side loading battery optic but I'll be able to use it on a 22 or something.
>>
>>64600507
Now for my J frame with a Hogue bantam grip, which works perfectly with every other speed loader I use, safariland, HKS, SL Variant, Zeta 6 etc, it tends to bind more than with my Altamont Grip.
Now I am a bit stumped. They are expecting me to return one or both for a refund. I only have one other speed loader for my LCR so I am leaning toward keeping the J2, but I don't carry the LCR. I carry a J frame or my SP101. Of course I already have several loaders that work with both. I don't know, maybe I should send both back and just get a refund. These things were too expensive to not work well except for with one of my revolvers.

I think I will keep the J2 because I only have one other speed loader that works at all for the LCR and isn't some flavor of stripper and have half a dozen that work fine with the J frame and SP101. I don't carry the LCR so I don't really mind them rattling. Besides, it's pretty and makes my lizard brain happy to see among my collection.

The LCR is the only handgun I've ever picked up and immediately hated due to how it feels in the hand. Not saying you shouldn't get one if it's what you've got your heart set on, but you should absolutely get one in your hands and see how you like it before considering buying one
If you're looking for more suggestions, I personally like the S&W 642

I need help with my stupid autistic monkey brain. When I was waiting to get back to work, I was doing shit like obsessing over handgun minutiae to keep my mind occupied for free. I decided I wanted a hammerless sp101 for carry. There was a store that had 2 for a pretty cheap price. I put it off.
I just finished my first full week back too with at this new job. I checked this morning and someone bought one of the guns last night.
Now I'm feeling like I have to buy it immediately except, I don't care anymore. I spend most of my time in non permissive environments where my lcp2 makes much more sense to carry. The Ruger was kind of a meme carry choice anyway. I still want it, but it's a poor value compared to other things I actually might use more that aren't guns. It's more likely to print. The only thing I can say is that I'll probably be more accurate with it but without buying it I can't say for sure. Yes I shoot better in double action on a revolver then the lcp2.
What do I tell my stupid monkey brain?

Either a big gp100 in 38 or a small J frame or LCR in 32 H&R.

The 32 is a bit tough to find but is very light recoiling in those small guns. The LCR comes in 327 and 32, get the lighter 32 version. You can also use 32 long for even lower recoil.

My LCR was great. I did feel the recoil was too gnarly so I moved to 32. I would imagine you want 38 to go with your model 10...I would still look highly recommended 32 h&r as it is so much easier to shoot but...

You have 2 38 models to choose from essentially. The 38 only model is 4oz lighter than the 357 model. I would lean towards the 357 model just to help with recoil. Load either with 38 wadcutters.

If you decide to go with the 32 model, I reverse my recommendation. Go with the lighter 32 h&r version over the 327. Best of both worlds... Light gun, light recoil and a 6th round. Kinda sucks that it can't pair with your model 10 but as long as you have a good 9mm and ammo for that I wouldn't worry about sticking to one caliber.

This weighs the same as the sp101 I'm looking at and I can drive not to far to try the trigger. It's even bigger so we're seriously pushing the concept of "pocket carry" to its limits. It's still smaller than my gp100. I'm also giving up 357 for 38+p. I don't care about the finish or the grips, I'd probably buy smaller profile grips for carry.
I do not have a stock sp101 trigger to compare it to. It would be slightly cheaper than the Ruger because no shipping, card fee or FFL.

Or maybe I don't need to buy another fucking gun.

Cool off for a few weeks. If you still want it after Christmas, then maybe go for it. I usually wait a year. Otherwise I'd be living under a bridge, sleeping on a pile of guns.
>>
>>64602990
>seriously pushing the concept of "pocket carry" to its limits
sp101 is already pushing it, mostly due to weight and how most pockets are made, it's most often just a little single layer cloth bag stitched to the inside of the pants. You must have some huge extra strong pockets to carry an sp101. w2c pants?

This is a good way to judge the quality of a pair of trousers or a jacket/coat. Cheap manufacturers will skimp with smaller pockets since an inch of fabric really adds up over hundreds of thousands of articles. Still, they are usually just a single layer of thin fabric since they need to be comfortable and not print when they are empty. You can always get a seamstress or tailor to reinforce them, or just DIY if you're handy.
I have a coat that will easily, if not comfortably pocket carry a full sized 1911. Even if it needs to go to the cleaners to be depilled.
You owe it to yourself to dress well, gentlemen and it doesn't have to cost a fortune.

LCR is great. If you don't like the way it feels in the hand, change grips. It is a revolver after all. I personally don't find the recoil in my 38 special version bad. Of course I mostly shoot small frame revolvers so they don't bother me at all.

Be warned SP101 requires you to know how to open it up and smooth it out OR you can do the finger exercise of dry firing it until it smooths out on its own. My 1st SP101 (long barrel) I did the poor man trigger job and dry fired the ever loving shit out of it and my 2nd one (snub nose), I opened it up and stoned it and then installed trigger, hammer, and hammer dog shims. Both became pretty nice triggers, but out of the box, they were terrible.

I watched some videos about this too. The .32 sounds really tempting, but the cost and availability kind of stinks from looking around. I know the only way to change that is to support it more, but you know. Yeah, I'm definitely keeping recoil in mind since I'm not familiar with snubbies. I typically shoot wadcutters anyway.
>>64603936
I'm not familiar with shooting them at all yet, hopefully the LCR is good enough to practice them on. As mentioned above, I'll be as conscious about recoil as possible with ammo selection. Still hesitant about considering a .32 version.

32 caliber is for reloaders. Don't bother unless you have a press and some load manuals. You can shoot standard pressure 38s instead of +Ps and you'll be fine recoil wise. If you go that route, just find SWC loads for it and carry that. Standard pressure only expands hollow points when you use Buffalo Bore. +Ps aren't that bad though, especially from the LCR. LCR's stock grip has a cushion in the back of the grip to soften recoil and you can always get the slightly heavier 357 mag version and just shoot 38s. (Don't shoot 357s out of it though. I almost exclusively shoot small revolvers and even I dont enjoy doing that.) It is the best small frame revolver out of the box. You can make nicer guns out of J frames, but you need to take them to a gunsmith or know how to work on them.

Duluth cargo pants, commonly seen on the late Paul Harrell (rip). This Ruger security 9 is the same size roughly as the sp101 and loaded it's 2 ounce lighter than the sp101 loaded. I could try to put the GP 100 in that pocket but I'm not wearing pants right now. If that fits, the Taurus will.
It's good for access while seated and is effectively a drop leg holster. It's doable. I was using the security 9 because it's got a manual safety so I can throw it in without a holster. I tried using a sticky holster with a subcompact, but it doesn't work in a cargo pocket. There's no pressure and the holster sticks to the gun she not the pocket.
I don't like using a manual safety like this, I'd prefer a double action revolver. The lcp2 completely disappears and that holster doesn't grip the gun.

Most Duluth items she shit but some of the pants and flannels are top tier.

That reminds me, I saw Ben Stoeger at a Scheel’s in Wisconsin a few weeks ago. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for a drill or anything.
He said, “You already know what drills you need to do.”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen boxes of Blazer 115 grain in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

>Bringing civilization
Screaming and crying from the stone age. Aka, the White Man's Burden.
Take up the White Man's burden—
Send forth the best ye breed—
Go bind your sons to exile
To serve your captives' need;
To wait in heavy harness
On fluttered folk and wild—
Your new-caught sullen peoples,
Half devil and half child.
Take up the White Man's burden—
In patience to abide
To veil the threat of terror
And check the show of pride;
By open speech and simple,
An hundred times made plain,
To seek another's profit,
And work another's gain.
Take up the White Man's burden—
The savage wars of peace—
Fill full the mouth of famine
And bid the sickness cease;
And when your goal is nearest
The end for others sought,
Watch Sloth and heathen Folly
Bring all your hopes to nought.
Take up the White Man's burden—
No tawdry rule of kings,
But toil of serf and sweeper—
The tale of common things.
The ports ye shall not enter,
The roads ye shall not tread,
Go make them with your living,
And mark them with your dead!
Take up the White Man's burden—
And reap his old reward,
The blame of those ye better,
The hate of those ye guard—
The cry of hosts ye humour
(Ah slowly!) toward the light—
"Why brought ye us from bondage,
"Our loved Egyptian night?"
Take up the White Man's burden—
Ye dare not stoop to less—
Nor call too loud on Freedom
To cloak your weariness;
By all ye cry or whisper,
By all ye leave or do,
The silent sullen peoples
Shall weigh your Gods and you.
Take up the White Man's burden—
Have done with childish days—
The lightly proffered laurel,
The easy, ungrudged praise.
Comes now, to search your manhood
Through all the thankless years,
Cold-edged with dear-bought wisdom,
The judgement of your peers.
Its satire has wort to naught in these post colonial years.

Catholicism is pozed these days. Especially with electronic tithing. I mean, it's miles better than most stuff, but still problematic.
Find your local Orthodox church. All they want is your faith and attendance. Consult the priest before receiving communion, but yeah. If it works for you, go for it, it not find your own way. Whatever the case, religion has guided humanity for millennium and the things done in the name of Christ, while often questionable, have been humanities greatest achievements.
Also, it's OK, and in fact, good to prefer the company of people similar to you and best to find a mate with a shared background, whatever that may be. Western Civilization can't exist without Westerners and neither can Eastern Civilization. We can't have diversity if we are all one brown smear, after all.

The California law jewz though they could ban the most common handgun with words.
Glock caved and tried to engineer around it and home schooled NEET engineers defeated that angle.
Just look at the ATF technical divisions rulings. Laws are inherently retarded. Literally, a shoelace can be a machine gun.
Also, the entire modern economy is based on
>trust me bro, we'll both get rich of the backs of people doing actual work.
Not to be a communist, or anything.
Start with fractional reserve banking. Then you can graduate to toxic mortgage asses derivatives and then you might invest more into real-estate and precious metals like lead and brass.

Niggers suck, but rich people are the real problem and pointing that out is the real sin. Also, check the early life on most of them.

They won't. Retards will always spout the flavor of the month but Glock is the institutional handgun. They have something like 80% of all agencies and the only other true competitor is the 320.

are shadow systems garbage or what? i've heard some people say they're better than stock glocks and others say they're 10x worse.
>>
>>64604953
I have the G34 equivalent and its way better than a glock. Even the shitty magpul mags are flawless too.

Ironically I've only had serious reliability issues with a stock G43x and glock had to mail me a whole new RSA for it to stop going out of battery
>>
>>64604777
Hard to argue with triple 7's.
I'm going to sleep on it.
Maybe I want the 327 version and load it with 32 long for not tinnitus. Honestly that's retarded and if I was really going to do that I'd get the LCR.
I'm also not 100% sure I want the bobbed hammer. Mossad Ajude says you don't want a cockable hammer on a carry gun but that old yahoodie says some dumb shit in that video about the Ferrari killer, nevermind.
I'll see how I feel in the morning.

1-0-1 recoil spring is the bad one, 1-1-1 is the good one.
>>
>>64604961
yeah its still embarrassing though. Meanwhile I didn't even follow any break in procedure for the shadow system and it runs like a sewing machine
>>
>>64596885
is "pdp snappy" a skill issue?
For whatever reason I can shoot it twice as fast on a steel silhouette at say 15yds vs my Glocks. But if I slow it down to try and hit the bullseye on paper it jumps out of my fuckin hands. Meanwhile with the Glock I can make good followups on small targets at a good rate. Something about going by the trigger break makes me perceive the PDP as snappy, but when I just slap it like I don't give a fuck it's fine.
I think when I get the required skills this thing will be a beast. My 4.5 pdp runs as fast as my 43x slide and only kicks about as bad as a 19 but I still get the velocity of a true 4.5. noice
>>
>>64604959
The "no hammer spur" mindset is just boomer fudlore. The only reason to not have a spur is if you are pocket carrying or maybe IWB depending on your clothes. Hammer spur is nice to have for longer shots, but if you carry Pocket or IWB get hammerless. Mine is hammerless because I wanted a 357 mag pocket carry gun that is actually shootable. It is probably the most shootable small frame revolver after a trigger job.

>>

>>64604980
Samefagging.
>>
>>64604953
I have one, I like it better than a glock, but will say the trigger is about the same. The "upgrades" you'd do on a Gen 4 are already there and these are really glock 47s before glock had even released the 47 to the public.
>>
>>64604984
I picked up a surp gen 4 and the finish is 1000x better than gen 5 and the plastic even feels better in hand.
>>
>>64604987
explain how the perceived recoil of the gun isn't related to how the gun is used please, retard
>>
>>64604989
as a shadow system enjoyer im really curious about the johnny glocks trigger for them but its really expensive
>>
>>64604995
The gen 4 is peak for me because they reduced the length of pull from gen 3 but kept the finger grooves, and as a lefty l can ride the support hand wherever with no buttons on the entire side of the gun
>>
>>64605000
I have been super curious, couple that trigger with a radian ramjet, I used to have a rmr hd on it but moved it back to the staccato and carry that more again.
>>
>>64604998
You just did in your post. You'd be hard pressed to squeeze a splits difference out of just the difference in recoil impulse. It's like a 5" 2011 vs a 4" 2011. Can you demonstrably do better with one over the other? Not bloody likely. Can you feel a recoil impulse difference between the two? Objectively yes.

Don't be one of these noshoots minmax faggots who thinks every single attribute of a gun translates to muh splits and thinks he can buy his way into grand master.

Perhaps the numerology is not as dire as I initially thought. I will cogitate on the matter…

The glock V was both a way to get lawsuits off their back (now they they "addressed" the switches), to force a market run of people buying up old glock's, and to try and kill the Gen 3 clone market by making anti-gun lobbies focus on them

Procurement people fucking LOVE the concept of "modularity". If you can dedicate at least 15 minutes of your presentation to how you can configure le thing 6 gorillion ways, no agency is going to buy it. Forgetting, of course, that they will buy one configuration and use that across the board.
