>Waaa it's heavy
And when you bring an AR to the same level of function how different is it? Folding adjustable stock, monolithic piston etc. MCX comes close and it's even more front heavy due to the huge rail for buried suppressors, $600 titanium meme rail aside
>you should just buy a SCAR
Why would I use a platform that's even less flexible and has worse ergos? I've already played the 17 game and yeah it's cool that it's half a pound lighter in 308 form, but the trigger sucks and the stock is unnecessarily bulbous

Pmags are the most reliable mags I've ever used
I don't understand this obsession with aluminum mags. They are only good with magpul followers, and the feed lips are more easily damaged from drops. Upgraded Vietnam mags are great for training tools though

>flatter trajectory is a meme
That's the main benefit of 5.56 and 6arc in a 7.62x39 potato and 6.5 Grendel world

You might just fucking die regardless of your rifle choice man. These are point to point weapons systems with a very averaged effective range. Your GPR isnt a 240, mortar, drone or attack helicopter its a point to point weapon system just like all the others.

Your lack of operational reach precludes you from launching lengthy in depth missions across huge swathes of terrain with varied distances. Its going to look a lot more like
>Taking my pistol with me everywhere
>Laying in a security position overwatching the entry to the neighborhood for hours on end with a SPR because squinting through a lpvo sucks ass

11.5-16” di ar-15 with an optic, sling, light, and possibly lam + a .45 handgun with a light and can like a usp! Not good enough? You can shoot supers and subs out of a p90. Cite how 14" vs 22" barrel length results in a "quicker" drop such that for the distances in consideration 50-150yds the differential induced elevation error from unknown distance between the 14" MV vs the 22" MV somehow dominates over the shot pattern spread at that distance...

Full size MP5 gets even more BTFO by a 8-9" 300blk. At least MP5k legitimately saves 2.5-4" or so.

>>64957842
I agree entirely. Love me MP5k simple as. Can't wait for Active Safety Designs ARHK drop in FRT pack. The raregreed one seems to work well.

>>64957859
A suppressor would have definitely helped attract less attention, and there are multitude of additional scenarios both historically realized and potentially in the future which might be similar to Kenosha where a "sound suppressor" (okay boomer/genX) would help. Also you do realize that metropolitan centers increasingly have shot mics all over the place? You think this is to stop crime? Give you a hint, they're planning way far in advance.

This isnt a complex concept to understand.
The slower pellets have more drop
The drop is exaggerated due to the comparatively low efficiency of a shotgun
The drop is readily observable at distance
Poor pattern performance is compounded further by the center of the pattern being moved off the target

Go shoot literally any shotgun at paper, they are not flat firearms.

Depends on what is in your quiver and what sort of ranges and POUs you're trying to fill. The Arken Targetlock 3000 is coming this year and looks snazzy as fuck. I've really enjoyed my Vortex Impact 4000. It has a lot of features and capability for the price, but they're large, bulky, and heavy.

Apples and oranges. For the most part ARs do not have folding stocks, pistons, or monolithic upper receivers. It truly is a radically different platform IMO.

Lots of pouches that can't fit 2x or 3x pmags can fit 2x or 3x USGI. Anti tilt followers are trivial. I've never had any issues with USGIs. I have had issues with Pmags. Simple as.

That actually isn't how error stacking works. There mathematically isn't some sort of coupling effect, they're uncorrelated errors that are fundamentally different in nature (statistical vs systematic/bias)
>they're not flat
I know they're not, I'm saying until there is data showing that the differential degree of non-flatness between the trajectory of a 14" vs a 18-22" gun compounded (actually this time) with the effect of unknown range results in a significant elevation error with respect (magnitude) to the primary uncertainty which is shot dispersion (pattern), I'll gladly advocate for a 14"

That is right because someone else already did and I already saw the data and drew my conclusions. Picture related. 14" vs 21.5" is a 5.6% and 6.4% MV difference for bird and buck respectively. Combine that with a little training on distance estimation, and I'll gladly take the 14". I learned my lesson on that FTX what humping around BOTH a pumpgun AND a carbine means. DD, KAC, Centurion, and Larue are all /arg/ approved, if that helps. Depends on what your budget is.
I've seen some things about Cross Machine Tool (CMT) but idk if /arg/ likes them or if they're even good. They have reinforced QD cups and aluminum barrel nuts.
You really can't beat Centurion for the money imo. I love it on my 11.5
>>
>>64959111
Under $600 realistically though id prefer to fall around half of that. Assuming fsb gets shaved, what length?
>>
>>64959116
It would have to be a little over 11 inches of rail to go over the gas block.
People usually go the full 15 inch but 12.5 and 13.5 are also solid options.
It's just user preference on what you want and how much rail space you want.
Take weight and balance into consideration as well.

More features drove up cost alongside hype. No longer just stripped milspec lowers. Still not unreasonably priced for what you are getting at around 3k a complete rifle for the new KS series.
>>
>>64959289
Fair point actually. Didn't actually know how much a KS-4 would cost, just assumed it'd be a lot based on the fact a stripped lower costs 600+. Barely more than Geissele's Mod 1 A which i was thinking abiut getting

Youd be better of honestly waiting for another batch of KS uppers to drop, grab one in your desired length and slap it on a quality milspec lower. Or find a secondhand mod 2 for a resonable price. Ive seen em go for 1-1.5k. KAC is only "expensive" because they dont release alot and faggot scalpers do the supply/demand thing

I've never had problems with surefeeds (I have a mix of the old grippin dots and new ones), they fit in surplus bandoliers so they're what I put in my pack.
But there's a reason PMAGs come in like 80% of new AR boxes, they just work, they're available everywhere, and they're cheap. I have no clue what hate people are throwing at them these days but I can guarantee you it's nothing.
This applies to AR PMAGs only.

Sbr question. Do you guys just file under name or use a trust? Where on lower do you typically engrave?

Trust, easier to transfer after your death or passing it to someone else. Most engravings usually try to be out of sight so in the trigger guard, inside the magwell lip, or on the side of the lower by the trigger pins

Yo. All u retards shilling the tisha the ones the shop i work for got in turned out to be shit, the qc is just horrible. Worst cerekote job ive ever seem in my life, they all chipped in shipping having not even been attached to rifles yet. The cerekote wasnt even applied consistently. The inner hub threads are consistently jagged, i wonder what the fuck is wrong with their threading machines? Trying to thread them onto plan b mounts they are binding up before being fully seated. There are titanium splinters and shavings falling out of the blast chambers. Our shop is returning the entire batch we got in. Do not be a beta tester for these, they seem fucking abysmal

So far plans for at least 3-4 sbr and 4 cans. There is period for inheritance even filing as individual, but don’t currently have any plans or need to designate inheritance right now that might make a trust make sense. At least now there’s no cost to filing besides time and paperwork,

Any laser place should be able to do it if you remove your trigger guard and your name isnt something hilariously long. If you have a really long name
>Archibald VonGeisseleHousen
It might just be all the more reason to do
>AVGH Trust
As far as trusts as a whole, inheritance is one thing but really the Form 5 makes it clear as day to pass things to your heir and really isnt that hard. Also do consider the fact that your piece of shit AR lower probably of little to no monetary value, its 100% sentimental value and if they care to that level they will form 5 it. If you had a shitload of transferables or some shit you would hire an estate planner to help make sure they execute prefilled form 5s for each item.
Id advocate for a trust to complicate red flag seizures, divorce rape and other issues that occur while you are still alive.

If you're gonna claim that then please post alternatives we can save so we don't have to resort to karl in the future. That being said if data is true and correct the source is irrelevant, unit 731 bequeefed is with several medical discoveries and we still utilize plenty of logistical, mechanical, or industrial innovations spurred by the Nazis and USSR. Idk man feels like a weird line to draw about a webm. It's not like PB was deferring to it in any other way other than the visual material which doesn't condone any of karl's beliefs or actions.

Blindly hating anything associated with your political enemies will quickly leave you with nothing as most people share the majority of their beliefs with stupid, inane shit they kill each other over

that's why commies say no ethical consumption under capitalism and why chuds justify voting for le accelerationist pick every tim. In both there's a tacit knowledge that compromise is a real part of action.

Here's another retro AR-15 cycling through the mud. It has an A2 case deflector and bolt assist but an A1 rear sight and furniture. Judging by the select fire, this unit is either an early 80's SP2 milled and drilled [Form 01] prior to the machinegun ban or merely SOT slop

Ok ill bite. Get a better job and stop being poor retard its that easy. People who cant afford nice things dont work hard enough to afford them. I wish i had generational wealth. If you have the nice thing you get to be critical of people who dont have the nice thing and tell them to get better things, doesnt matter if you won the lottery or sweat for every penny. Life is a litmus test for being a retard, especially in the US. If youre happy with the not nice thing then the criticism wouldnt urk you nearly as much
>>
>>64961888
there are valid reasons to not be able to afford the guns you want, and all of them are things that prevent you from making money. if you aren't disabled, have no debilitating chronic health issues, and are not the primary caregiver for a relative, then you don't have an excuse to be bitter over not being able to afford the things you want. spend more time learning things that can make you money instead of posting in these threads

This unit is very clearly undergassed which might be the reason it failed to fire during the sand test. Robski didn't bother to mention what they were feeding it so we don't know if it's an ammunition issue. He also didn't perform the test before and after running it over so we don't know if it's an alignment or gas block issue. The AK Operator Union's methodology is simply too flawed for us to gain insight and I'm the first one to point out whenever BCM fucks up– believe me

Other than people who’ve incurred very unfortunate medical debt, born with disabilities or went through fucked up divorces ive found the majority of poor people have done really stupid shit to wind up in their position like incur debt getting a useless degree, are straight up lazy, chemical dependancies, criminal activity, make very poor financial decisions like buying stupid vehicles (money pit cars/boats), gambling, having a baby with a stupid person. Of course there are always exceptions and unfortunate events and forces of nature that cause financial catastrophes gotta be at least 80 percent of poor people self inflicted their current infirmaries. I still pity these people because it usually stems from a lack of intelligence which is typically cause by neglect from or lack of parents/ good role models growing up. My heart goes out to those who did not self inflict their financial woes. I feel shitty even posting this, i hate the boomer ass pull yourself up by your bootstraps but in many cases its true.

Reality is that you should be looking into the aberdeen testing for carbine extreme dust test and carbine extreme dust test 2 and realizing why the methodology was so well defined in them and how critical that is to executing these tests. Youtube videos are useful for painting with a broadbrush but reading too specifically into the poorly controlled not even projectfarm tier "tests" is bad form.

I ordered the slide with the cut from glockstore. The cut is fine, but they just slap Cold Blue over the exposed metal, so at some point I may get it refinished. I have another one I got cut at Wright Armory and they refinished the slide with NT7, which looks a lot better and is likely a lot more effective.
