I've somehow survived 12 years of owning the same gun with only the 2 factory magazines, and then the brand new magazines cause the first non ammo-related malfunctions I've had with this gun. Those springs are damn stiff, and loading 19+1 had enough upward force from the magazine to cause a failure to eject on the first shot. I had been loading my mags to 18 for years anyways, but in my memory, this is the first time loading 19+1 has caused a malfunction.

For the top one you push in like it shows but there are also two tabs on the sides that need to be depressed. Alright i saw an oddity today. In Atlanta for work once more and found myself at the self proclaimed largest gunstore in Georgia. The had some mags i needed but they also had a huge ammo stock. Most of it was kinda midtier price, nothing too good of a deal. But they had a huge section - like two dozen pallets lined up and two 20ft long aisles of Factory Seconds. It was all packaged just like normal factory retail ammo but it was all clearly labeled with orange stickers that said "factory seconds". The whole stick for it in the store was buy one get one free on any of the factory seconds but it was priced up a little bit. So like if a box was normally $15 for standard retail price, their factory seconds box would be $25 essentially for two boxes of the seconds.Now I'm not a cheapskate but I'm not opposed to the value. But I just cannot trust stuff marked "seconds". Am I paranoid or is that a valid hesitation? There's no disclosure as to why the stuff was discounted. Do any of you fuck with factory seconds?

It shot 4" high at 200 yards and the groups were like 3.5" as opposed to ~1". If it was handgun ammo I wouldn't hesitate to snatch it all up, idgaf about groups the same way I do with rifles.
