I confided to a trans person that i related to their identity because i feel dysphoric about not having fur or a snout or a tail, and they got offended and said it wasn't the same. I'm curious how /lgbt/ feels about this. Was i out of line to say that? I genuinely feel that way and it bugs me that my body will never be the way i feel like it's supposed to be. It seems very comparable. But I am open to changing my mind

>>42398922hygiene/skincare: shower at night before bed and wash my face with a cleanser in the shower, and i always use johnson baby shampoo (i heard that this is the only one that doctors rated is safe if it gets into your eye, but i dont literally wash my eyeballs directly with it) to clean around my eyes to make sure any eyeliner or eyebrow makeup residue is removed, in addition to wiping it all off with makeup remover wipes (or baby wipes if i have none) before i shower in the morning i just wipe my face and eyes with a baby wipe because my sinks are designed stupidly as shit and you cant wash your face without flooding the surrounding area, this only works if you have like a farmers sink or something makeup: eyebrow makeup and winged eyeliner, concealer for covering grayish skin where mustache hair grows. my skin is also softer from estrogen so i plucked ALL of the hair on my face again (an asian mtf suggested this in passgen a while ago) and it really helps, it took a long time but it was worth it and there's less hair than when i did it a few months ago when i wasnt on estrogen yet. i also used an electric shaver recently before this which made it easier since the hair grew back evenly and made it easier to pluck it all at once. be careful of straining your eyes and neck and getting dehydrated while doing it though, i had to take a break a few times and it took 2 nights i also drink matcha green tea or jasmine green tea every morning because they make me feel a lot better and they improve your blood circulation and apparently are good for your skin. i think the jasmine one calms me down too but idk if its cause of suggestability because i read jasmine is good for aromatherapy showering at night is the best because youre always clean if you do it daily and it also takes less time to get ready/clean in the morning. https://youtube.com/watch?v=dHfKycsGn_Q&si=YpN7iLEs_krJw9jY
