I hate to say this but I think we all either "make it" and move on from imageboards (or maybe check back in very rarely) or we off ourselves, so the populace either gets constantly replaced by young newfags that slowly change the culture or the population declines so posts get less and less frequent but the culture stays roughly the same and the quality is higher as perceived by the populace.
