Just woke up from a dream and I want to write it down while it's still fresh in my mind:>Dream follows this hitman ("A") who's ordered to be a bodyguard for his boss' son ("B"). The two of them are sent to another state.>B wants to open up a coffee shop, but he doesn't actually know the first thing about managing a business, so it's up to A to do all that.>B is a cloudcuckoolander—positive, but clumsy. He forgets to lock the shop's doors at night, for example. He just wants people to be happy.>And before you ask, yes, in my dream, B is a twink. A is a gruff man.>Rival gangs learn about B's location and send assassins after him, though A is able to repel them each time.>For whatever reason (never said in my dream), the boss calls A back and sends a hitwoman ("C") to be his son's bodyguard.>While talking to A, the boss not-so-subtly implies he wants his son to die as he's unfit to be his heir. Hence why he only gives him one bodyguard.>A returns to B. By the time he does though, B and C have become affectionate, though it's clear that C is the one pushing herself onto him.>This annoys A, but it's not like he controls B, so he just tries to ignore it. Eventually, he confronts C and it becomes clear she's "grooming" B so that when he replaces his father, C will get to be the one controlling things behind the scenes.>Though he doesn't like the idea of C being close with B, at least she isn't privy to (or at least isn't supporting) the boss' plan to have his son die.>I don't know why, but C never shows up in my dream after this.>More assassination attempts occur, and eventually the normally cheerful B breaks down.
