i had my ex feed me way too much food. Ate two large portions of pasta every meal, or just went to order food. Work is right next to a burger king so i just went there every day after we broke up.
I mainly lost all the weight again because I get to work from home and make home cooked meals most of the time. I bet I could go even lower with my weight, since i eat rather large portions, but I am very happy with my body shape.

I was previously 13 BMI (5'6, 38 kg or smth). Now I'm up to 18.5 (52 kg) and still gaining. My recommendation would be to calorie count. You "swear" you eat 3k daily but I can almost guarantee that you do not actually eat that much lol. I thought I ate a lot but was actually eating 1500-1800 per day. Now I eat like 2000-2500 and I'm steadily gaining. It's just a numbers game, but if you don't know your numbers you can't game them.

I'm not 13 bmi anymore lol. I basically was just eating 1 meal per day. Felt tired all the time. It was awful. Also yeah for calorie counting y'all need to weigh your food for at least a while before you can get a feel for estimation

honestly fair, that was my issue in the past. I have a definite 1.3k calories a day just in boost shakes + beer. Then AT LEAST 500 calories for lunch because I have a whole ass milkshake and sandwich with egg and bacon usually. Then for dinner it definitely varies a lot based on what my partner cooks but we're asian so lots of rice. I'd hope it's at least another 500 calories between rice + meat + sauces. Then that's not even including sodas or other snacks throughout the day which probably add at least 200. And I eat a pint of ice cream at a time for ~900 admittedly not every single day so lets third it for like 300 on avg to be conservative. That's nearly 3k DEFINITELY above 2k tho. I eat more than my gf and she still weighs like 1.5x what I do to both our dismays lol. I have always had a really fast metabolism but also I wonder if it's some sorta hormonal issue at this point. Tbf I'm at your current bmi already so I might need to up things even more.

Kitchen scales are even more important than bathroom scales.

Protip: Get yourself a little book and right down the calories of all the things you commonly eat as made up.
And get yourself a day/page day planner and write down everything that goes in or out of your body as well as what exercise you're doing and how much sleep you're getting.

GD (particularly in the early and mid stages of transition when your endocrine system is rewiring itself) and BDD both have the same problem of not making your instincts reliable. You have to rely on data.
