Reminder Daybreak could have killed off Lachesis in the Christmas episode but he beat her up just enough to retrieve the Orochi Chemy and not fatally wound her. Daybreak is powerful enough to destroy homunculi but he held back because she was among the persons he wanted to save.Also, this makes Atropos an aunt.
Something about Gotchard suits feels like Ghost suits to me.

Honestly conflicted with Rainbow Gotchard's debut arc, and pretty much the show in general. There are some moments where the scenes and filming are decent enough that it makes you care a bit about the characters, like how otaru says he'll try as many times as it takes to revive the Chemies. But then they always resort back to "it all ends up going well for everyone" endings that make it all seem so cheap. I get that this is a thing that already happens with previous seasons like Geats and notoriously Revice, but it hurts with Gotchard because there actually is something worthwhile about putting all these stupid ideas together until something clicks.

The biggest problem of Gotchard is that I'm supposed to give a shit about the Digimon and the entire story hinges on them but they all feel like completely interchangeable pets. There are just too many of them and they have the most basic pet personalities. If you want your show to be about collecting Pokemon at least make people care about the Pokemon.
