I'm currently debating with myself as to whether to go for another full playthrough or not.
Armoury got some cool stuff now but maybe if I hold out for another few months, it maybe will have more cool stuff or at least some more polish. Maybe.
Maybe in a few months I will remember the game less and thus enjoy reexperiencing it more. Maybe.
Maybe in the next few months a dlc or sequel will be announced, giving me an external reason to either pick the game up again or wait for more fresh content that it's inevitably coming. Maybe.

After pirating this game I was worried if I could copy my save to steam for the legitimate purchase. Now I have S-ranked every mission at leat 5 times, even shit like coral export denial. I wish there was more to do, but I guess that's kind of impossible given how concise the game is. You can they really put thought into this game by how the story is actually striking a nice balance between ambiguity and just plain good storytelling. I hope that whatever comes next won't go the same route as souls, becoming more and more homogenized with standard mainstream gaymes with a community that handwaves every retarded decission as "Quality of Life". My biggest fear would be an open-world ac.

I want more parts overall, like a proper lightweight frame from Balam or PCA parts; seeing as a single merc's AC was able to wipe out fleets of their ships, I'd think they would realize they're not as inferior as they initially thought. Also laser machine guns and back boosters.
As for gameplay, I want for slowed regen in the air to not be a thing. I don't want to be grounded all the damn time.

I have yet to see a full explenation of Snail's emblem and name. Every fucking Youtube fag misses some crucial point.I almost feel forced to become a ConTeNt cREatOr just to make one video explaining all that's going on. Like how faisu translates to both faith and face and how it references Baozhi (picrel) or how it references David Smail in keeping with the Vesper's obscure academic references. The only thing they seem to consistently get right is the Freud cranium thing which I gues makes most people go "cool, guess that's all they put into it." What I was on about was people (especially YTers) seem to see one reference and calling it a day, or even viewing further investigations and discoveries as somehow antagonistic to the one thing they dug up. In Snail's case there are clearly multiple references overlapping.
If you can't see the parallels between the pic and the emblem, especially when the japanese approximation of faith and face are identical, which is an obvious play on words, then I can't help you. Seems clearly intentional.
The Dali thing is known and I think I made it obvious.

Since I am already typing this I guess I could add that Dali was known for using snails as motifs multiple times. and often merged spirals with human anatomy (again, picrel)

Wether From is actually trying to tell us something other than showing of knowledge on art and literature, is up for debate. I always thought that the original names were supposed to be opposites of the character (Snail, materialistic, arrogant, treatorous <-> Buddhism, enlightment, asceticism)

Freud should be the leader of the Vespers as V1, but Snail (Freud's head) is the actual leader.

Notice she says "it's time for me to get back to my real work". All these years, she hasn't been actively performing her Overseer role. Sure, she's probably been monitoring things to make sure nothing out of the ordinary happens, but meanwhile she's been doing her RaD thing independently of her Overseer thing. She didn't intentionally build the RLF faulty superweapons as part of some master plan, hell she even tried to have you killed the first time you showed up at her doorstep. She only really started collaborating with Overseer again after Walter "reactivated" her with the big Coral explosion at the Watchpoint

Her trying to murder you is because she does not recognize you as Walter's asset. Even if she wasn't with Overseer at that time, she certainly wouldn't try to shit on him.

I get she was probably not really active unless instructed by Walter as the name Overseer implies passivity, and she otherwise would have known exactly how to identify 621 (kind of retarded of them either way to never clarify, imagine the conversation with Walter when he finds out his hound got shredded by Carla's trash-bin) but still her saying RaD was a side-job means there was a main job and I think she would have done favors for Walter before the events of the game because of this.

I think Walter is just too confident in the STRIDER mission. He had it's destruction planned step by step.
At the very least, she had to have told Walter how to dismantle the STRIDER.
The biggest giveaway is him calling it built to fail. Yeah it could just be critique of bad design but it all fits together so well I can't be brought to believe this a coincidence.

Not sure about hopes per se, just thing's I'd like to see one way or another.
If they're sticking to the AC6 continuity, the so called "carnival of horrors" that the Coral research supposedly brought.
If they're making a clean break again, some proper moody, rainy, neon drenched and currently fully functional cyberpunk environments. Kind of tired of the barren post apocalyptic wastelands, I want the world to feel alive again.
Otherwise, just go full on with Grid 86 with miles of machines mechanical megastructure, double down on industrial grunge and make it into a proper three dimensional maze testing player's dungeoneering skills.
And some proper big huge bosses, preferably integrated seamlessly into the level architecture, or working as proper levels themselves. I also kind of liked those wandering mausoleum things from ER, wouldn't mind some more free range grazing Arms Fort class enemy types.
