It's a tad pretensious, ranking them subjectively, rather than with objective numerical scores, but tbf I stole the idea from some youtuber I watched a while back (don't remeber his name, I don't keep up with e-celeb bullshit) though he was using Weezer albums while I'm using different mecha shows. Also while the show itself isn't that great, SEED's gundams are some of my favorites in the whole franchise (besides maybe Hathaway's Flash or G-Reco). It's sort of a good middle ground between the simpler, more boxy forms of Classic UC Gundam, and the newer, Bayformers-level clusterfucks that pass for modern mecha design. Been playing AC2 quite a bit lately. Feels like a great step up from 1st gen. So much more detail and stats all over the place its great. Being able to actually burn enemies now feels so much better than that dingy napalm launcher from MoA. There is just one thing, why does the lock on feel so strange? Compared to ac1 it feels like the actual "aiming screen" is much much farther back and it feels weird to try to aim at enemies that are close by. Maybe the FCS finally affect the distance and i just havent noticed but damn it just doesnt feel right sometimes. Also is there any place i can see how much do optional parts actually affect your ac? "increases lock on range" doesnt really tell me much

Finished AC2, great game again and im now starting AC2AA. Holy shit is this terrible. Genuinely what were they thinking? There is no story, the missions are hit and mostly miss. Alright, finished AC2AA. It did actually get better, but only slightly. Actually had some pretty good missions with some fun environments, but the rest ranged from meh to boring to pretty fucking bad. Why were there so many timed missions that really had no reason to be timed? The game also had the most random difficulty spikes and many missions that easily just murder the player a moment after the mission starts. There is still no story and no arena which is pretty fucking shit. I was surprised there were extra missions after you beat the game in the form of "super bosses". I have to confess, I tried so hard to burn them all but i just couldn't do it. I had to resort to making a rocket barrage AC like another anon mentioned. Overall probably the worst AC game so far, but still not horrible just bland and uninspired.Now before I start the next line of armored core games, there seem to be both ps2 and psp versions of them. Are there some major differences? Which would be the best choice, playing the ones available on the psp and the ps2 ones separately, or playing everything on the ps2?
