Hell Geats also had weapons people bought unlike the shelfwarming ones from Gotchard, even bringing back Q4 weapons, people only started picking up the Gotchartornado because of the movie. Kamen Rider Revice Episodes 11 + 12If something ever happens to Lovekov, I will-oh, wait. She's already getting her ass beat. Well, the three Igarashi children are now Kamen Riders. I am really enjoying the conflict and drama caused by everyone's actions and feelings. Aguilera is actually being interesting plus revealing some of her backstory at the same time she confronts Sakura. Honestly surprised about the resolution where Fenix arrests the mother and her child isnt magically cured or someone offers to pay for his surgery. It had weight and shows that there's consequences for how the characters act, which is something that's been happening since the start of the series.Demons didnt do too much in these episodes, and kinda lagged behind. Protect the world even if it costs you your life, dude!

When it comes to what is supposed to be the main focus of it all, it in essence just comes across like a slightly less forced version of the Ryuga arc from Zi-O: Everyone in the cast keeps insisting that Sakura is in actuality a total wimp, despite there being very little indication of that up to this point, making the entire point/message feel unearned. In extension to that, these episodes really had me turning on Mama Igarashi. Her blatant double standard of insisting that Ikki has to go out and save the world despite his own desires, yet telling Sakura that nothing in the show is Sakura's' responsibility despite Sakura wanting to contribute really rubbed me the wrong way. I don't care if it's human, or realistic, or accurate representation of a family unit or not, it's still a double standard and I found it very annoying. Hiromi just dumping his backstory out of nowhere was not only forced, but made it really seem that the writer's' found him as more of an annoyance to work with rather than wanting to actually think of giving him any proper focus. The backstory itself is fine, but it would've been nice to actually explore that in a Hiromi focused episode, rather than just stapled into this randomly. And lastly, and most importantly... that child is dead. There's no two ways around it. But yet we're still supposed to see the mother as in the wrong for wanting to do whatever she can to save her child's' life. This is what I was getting at with my fears of villains talking to much sense: Something like this where I am outright rooting for the "bad guy" despite the show not wanting me to. It's a really cruel message to end the episode off on.

I get what they are going for, but it just rubs me the wrong way. As for Sakura? She feels like early stage Ren from Saber, a character I quit like, but where Saber made it pretty clear Ren was immature and in need of growth, but with Sakura here, it feels the show is praising her worst aspects. And it all comes down to how the moral and growth resolves. The show calls her overconfidence childish, so when she starts talking about how she now realizes that she was weak, it feels completely antithetical to that message when she adds right after: "But now that I realise my weakneses, I'm invincibile". No, you are not invincible, you learned nothing at all! You are back to square one with your problems and overconfidence with believing yourself strong! This one line turns the meaning of the arc meaningless and undermines it entirely, because now she is praised for not growing in the slightest!

Many thanks.Anyway, since this was shown alongside Senki, it made me put myself into the shoes of someone watching for the first time at the cinema. I'd been optimistic id that was the case. Vice is a tad bit more childish here than in the actual series. He's almost like Deadpool in the way he was breaking the 4th wall. But it offers nice and fun action, and a peek at the mistery surrounding the story. A perfectly servicable sort of extra episode.

Sorry for saying Revice wasn't terrible before. The Daiji heel turn plotline sucks shit and was done better in a number of earlier Rider shows. If Shocker are meant to be the Nazis – and they are – then Ryunosuke is a Nazi scientist who was eventually like Whoops Mea Culpa. Meanwhile, his 50-something son Hideo (a late-in-life dad who mostly doesn’t have time for his own son) reasonably resents his dad for a) abandoning his family to go do horrific experiments on innocent people, b) showing up to hijack his son’s body for some light apocalypse-prevention, and c) never trying to get in contact when he was shot off into space I guess? It’s the last one that makes a lot of this drag out; the movie really puts a lot of its weight on YOU NEVER CAME HOME DAD, which is easily explained away, instead of the more appalling and unforgivable YOU WILLINGLY EXPERIMENT ON HUMANS MULTIPLE TIMES DAD.
