Makes it feel like Hellnarak was weaker than Zadine after all that. Also what was that absolute nothing of a crossover? So what if Arc can do Spiral Burrade, I prefer to see something more creative like a combination of Blazar caveman logic and Arc's imagination shield hax. The episode has so much potential, and they squandered it. A shame when the Zangil parts were amazing

What the fuck was that??I am not an Arc hater. I actually thought episode 17 was awesome. It made it feel like Zangill had to pass on his wisdom on to Arc for him to even begin to approach Helnarak's army. it seemed like Arc had crossed a huge new threshold, showing off amazing tricks we have never seen before, and Zangill sees this and is reminded of Blazar's majesty....Then they finally fight Helnarak together, and they just had to use their basic base form finishers in quick enough succession. That's it. Hell, Blazar didn't actually need to be present for it to work.
I wonder if the reason they didn't have any of the Blazar cast is because Arc filming was quite early, sorta like how Gotchard and Gavv filming clashed.But even then Blazar was also filmed earlier, the entire filming was done by the time the press conference was livestreamed.

Man, I usually give Ultraman credit for having some of the best crossovers in long running Toku series. But that was so half hearted. Arc goes to an alternate version of Blazar's world which we aren't even familiar with, to learn how to do Blazar's first finisher, so he can beat the multi-arc big boss monster without Blazar helping directly? This felt so disrespectful to Arc in several ways. It also just feels weird after Zangill taught Arc that cherry blossom slash move, only for him to not actually use it on the Kaiju that Zangill was preparing Arc to fight.
