I always liked how the Gaorangers got progressively more smug as the show went, like when they cheated death they start straight up bullying the main villains. Yabaiba and TsueTsue honestly were better Team Rocket ripoff than the trio of Boonboomger. The show is not a top-tier season, it has a lot of issues like: Yellow becoming comic-relief after GaoSilver gets redeemed, Tetom is just an OK mentor, GaoBlue's lack of backstory, Gao Black being weirdly cut off from fights whenever it isn't a focus episode of him and the CGI. But it's a still a pretty fun.Megaranger is really great, it took whole advantage of the High-School setting, Kubota is an amazing mentor which makes his emotions scenes in the final arc hit hard and the relationship between the main villain trio is kind of weirdly wholesome. Kenta's actor nailed the despair in the episode where he accidentally punched a child, but my favorite member was Shun (I wish we got main members with illusion powers more often).GoGoFive's villain are extremely generic. But it has the best implementation of the family dynamic which honestly makes it one of the best teams in Sentai for me. The show had enough budged and planning to implement the rescue dynamic throughout the whole show. All of that made it my favorite show of his.Go-Onger is stolen by main villain trio(and later quartet), they're extremely entertaining which makes the last quarter of the show duck since they drop them for a bunch of generic villains that had never appeared before. The team is good but more shounen anime-is. I really liked how Gunpei became a ranger by kidnapping Bomper because he's a massive chuuni.
