Ponies have always been a source of comfort for people who wanted to reach out and have something sweet and pure in their lives. While I never had it as bad as some Anons who found comfort in the show, my favorite pony Ponka was an insane source of relief and understanding for me way back in 2012. I keep consistently finding others who had similar experiences, too. Not gonna lie, that Anon who's here getting angry about women probably went through some horrid shit too. On some level I've kind of treated /mlp/ like an asylum where Equestria is like some kind of rehab for misanthropes, haha. I say that half jokingly though as I don't really see them as crazy people in an asylum, just people who could probably do with a patient ear and a shoulder to lean on. It's always a pleasure to do what we can to make others smile.
