I was never a big proponent of Sunset going back to Equestria, mainly because it was always ridiculous to assume she'd abandon her friends and the life she built at CHS, but if it's a decade after the fact, there's a real decision to be made there for her. She could teach magic/friendship anywhere in Equestria, with Twilight at her school, or at the school for gifted unicorns. I imagine she'll have an arc of being confused about her place in either world, as at that point she doesn't fully fit into either. I think her friends will have similar problems wanting to reconnect and she could meet (You), making her stay in the human world while still helping with Equestria.She could settle down into a professor role eventually, but I think any teaching or office gig she took wouldn't be very long-lasting. She's too adventurous for that. That'd probably cover a decade or so after college.
