Day #184. The Claude drought is still going on. It's very cold.
>>41545568Every time I see our Cai memes they're always so sharp and accurate unlike anything Claude ever made. Why is that?
>>41545628 CAI was trained to be 100% focused on RP. It could be a bit dumb, and the context was dogshit, but it was great at delivering funny one-liners and could be really soulful.

>>41545567Equestria online is being made by valve. We will beta test it
>>41545644I think Gemini is trained like that tooI think that's the model c.ai used and I think they share the same data set
>>41545712It was called PaLM-2 back then; Gemini is an evolution and was created afterward. I believe CAI used PaLM but with a heavy finetune on RP. Gemini is probably more assistant-pilled these days. I still need to properly try Gemini one day. I did some small tests, but it was way too inconsistent. There’s also Mistral, but I heard it’s too repetitive. I hope the anon working on a JB will deliver.

>>41546231 Usually, it was done so the keys would last longer. Fewer people use them if they know their logs might be visible in a public Google Sheet.
>>41546199NTA, but I'm retarded. When I use charybdis what is actually happening? Like, is my IP only going to the people who run charybdis which makes a request to OpenAI or does my IP go all the way to OpenAI?
>>41545996Do we know who runs this one? Would be nice to say thanks to the guy who gives us some clau at these dark times.
>>41546274Reverse proxies send their own IP to the service (Anthropic/Claude) not yours, so unless you RP with your real name, adress or other true info, they can't know who you are. That's one of their strengths.
>>41546274>Like, is my IP only going to the people who run charybdisyes this. your IP doesn't go any further. like any site in internet proxy logs your IP. in Charybdis IP logging is only used to detect abuse like when one token is share between lots of users. use VPN if you uncomfortable with it. openAI or Google or other service never know your real IP. never

>>41548016>to be aware of what it isLiterally this. He wanted to know what it can do and how it can be useful, or what he will potentially have to learn in the future. Ironically, the course was obsessing over irrelevant basics and didn't contain any useful stuff since the author was mostly a grifter and had no idea of the full power herself. Custom trained controlnets, training on custom refs, neural rendering, it had none of that. I gave him a better overview in two hours, from a standpoint of a CGI-related engineer, briefly instructed him on how to use it in Maya/Blender for neural rendering, and directed him towards Krita AI Diffusion. Which is way more intuitive for an artist than all these prompting/noodle toys, and can serve as an example of what a competent and industry-usable tool would look.

One thing I hate about chorbo nsfw is that it always seems to forget about dialogue. Even with relevant stuff in my preset I still have to remind it constantly to focus on dialogue, or else it spits out 3 paragraphs of description/narration and like four words of dialogue.I want my mare to talk dirty to me, dammit.

I can't recommend mixing the anti refusal logit bias that Anon made few threads ago with your JB enough. I'm currently using https://rentry.org/avaniJB#current-version-20-voodoo-edition with it and had 0 refusal so far with using any additional tricks. I tried it with corpse too and it worked really well. You can mix it with your current logit bias to get the advantage of both. It also seems to me that when you force chorbo to go with the generation using this it is a lot less filtered than normally, it has no problem with using naughty words or being more proactive than usual.I don't think I miss Claude that much anymore (cope).

Gpt kinda sucks at retelling the story of episodes huh? Trying to do a twisted script situation and it kinda blows. Anyone managed a proper retelling with additional aspects?
>>41557997Never tried, but my guess is that it (and all AI) knows some details and has a vague idea of the most 'popular' episodes, but it'll hallucinate a ton of crap if you ask it to retell them. What I’d try is feeding it the transcript of the episode you want, then ask it to rewrite it into a story with a preset or writing style you like. Once you’ve got that, you can ask it to make changes or continue from a certain point. I know there are a bunch of Fimfics that probably do the same thing, so if you know one, maybe feed it a chapter and then ask for changes after. Not sure it'll work. I'm just throwing ideas.

>>41559844 Bias should work for * or _ I believe. There’s a regex against * in rentry.org/lattejb, so you might want to check that out. Claude sometimes appears on public proxies like Pebbles or others. The hope is it will be more available when Opus 3.5 releases, as companies might want to try it, meaning more keys. >>41564098It seems to be uncensored. Which like. Sweet. But... The lack of intelligence is really tangible. Bit of a bummer. It's a fun experience though; probably won't continue using it beyond testing limits.
Is there a difference between azure 4o and regular one? I get constantly filtered on chary latte while one from unreliable goes through without any issues, even with heavy NSFW stuff, but due to filtering I can't really compare responses much.
>buy 3090 so pc won't be at its knees when genning images>finally check out /chag/ >decide to run model local>pc at its knees vram and ram wise when running locallywould I be a fool parted with my money if attempting to build a system with used p40s to run larger models locally?
>>41564378yeah it's a different model. azure does not have latte.
>>41564387Is uh... Is a 3090 good for image gen? I'm looking myself, NGL. But I'm in the process of figuring out what's worth a damn. Also, there's nothing foolish about it. AI mares are worth, my guy. Never doubt.
>>41564378 >Is there a difference between Azure 4o and the regular one? Azure doesn’t have Latte/Chorbo/chatgpt-4o-latest. If you select it on an Azure proxy, you’ll be redirected to the normal GPT-4o. That’s why you’re less filtered on unreliable proxies, because the regular 4o is way easier to jailbreak, but the prose and writing are worse, IMO. It would be the same if you switched to 4o on Chary. What you can do if you mix SFW and NSFW is use Chorbo for the start or SFW parts and switch to another version of GPT for the smut. Once the context is "contaminated," you can even return to Chorbo to see what happens. >>41564387 >would I be a fool parted with my money if attempting to build a system with used p40s to run larger models locally? I’m not sure if it’s worth it at the moment, honestly. Maybe if it can run 123B models? But even then... Are you really against using proxies?
>>415643933090 is more than good enough for that. Image gen is much, much less demanding than text gen, even though it sounds like it should be the other way around.
>>41564393I've done image gen for a couple years now. A 3090 is far and beyond what you'll need to gen on models worth a damn these days. If you're genning with SD1.5 or SDXL, it's A LOT more than you'll need. But 24 gigs of vram will let you run Flux without having to use the quants people have made. For smaller models, it'll be faster and you can train LoRAs and quicker
>>41564403Honestly, I see it the opposite. An image is a collection of keywords given visual representation while text gen is a series of nuanced words, veritable context and memory. Image gen being simpler makes a lot of sense to me, given the AI only generates a single image of 'Cute pony doing a dance', which it does by throwing paint at a wall and then refining it little by little (denoise) until the words provided match the image to the best of its understanding. Where as text gen has to explain the dance, remember the context, consider the situation, ensure the movements make logical sense- etc. An image is worth a thousand words- maybe. But a thousand words aren't much when you consider the larger picture.
>>41564403 >even though it sounds like it should be the other way around. That’s because we’re thinking of it from a human perspective. >I can’t draw, but I can somewhat write But if you think about all the languages, grammatical rules, etc., involved in writing coherent sentences, then paragraphs, and making it sound good for creative writing, linking words and ideas together, you can see why it’s far more resource-intensive than image generation.
>>41564408Currently SDXL, yea. I average around one image every 20-30 minutes. So I'm due an upgrade. I did wanna do flux, but it kinda sucks for non-human anything in my experience. But I appreciate the foot notes edition. That'll be my goal then.
>>41564420Understandable. SDXL and PonyXL models will definitely be faster on a 3090. From 20-30 minutes down to the order of thirty seconds or less. On a 4090, I get an image genned and hi-res'd in about fifteen seconds, but a 3090 shouldn't be too far behind that
>>415643933090 has been good to me using the ponyxl model to gen images and even train some LORAs on characters and outfits. I was getting by with my 2080ti but God forbid I watch a YouTube video and gen at the same time, would freeze up my whole pc so decided to buy a used 3090 for like $600
Does anyone know if grok is logged or not? I just want to test how it is.
>>41564435Can you recommend any retard proof guides? I wanna see what my 4060 can do.
>>41564588I guess it depends on what you're trying to do. Like, are you using A1111, SD Forge, or ComfyUI? Because ComfyUI has a steep learning curve, A1111 is the default that everyone sort of starts on, and SD Forge is like A1111, but with far better memory management. I'd go with SD Forge and stay with it since it's basically A1111 but better. Beyond that, the question is about what your goals are
>>41564577Shouldn't be.
>>41564387I would use proxies until a really good local model release
