Ended up about the same cost as shipping the lifesize by UPS.Prepping a vacuum bag might be good if you want to reduce volume a bit so you can fit the lifesize in a smaller bag/box

It's very case by case as shipping vs oversize fee will probably depend on your specific situation.A 30'-ish plush is not the same as an LS in the end, but it's way less hassle to get home by air.
