Hocus Pocus, though an excellent, fun song, was always a bit of an inside joke to the band and was never meant to be representative of their musical direction. I'm sure it was fun to play (just listen to the warp-speed live performances), but my feeling is that they weremore interested in creating music that was a bit more nuanced. Songs like Answers? Wow they fucking ruined it. The sound is way too clean and processed. The original mix was compressed to hell but at least it was in service of a heavy and gritty impact. The remix completely spoils that.

So I listened to pic related for the first time in about 3 years. It's about as good as I remembered it being. The only low point is Richard Palmer-James' singing. It's only really prevalent on one song, but it's seriously awful. Did none of the other band members or producers step in and tell this guy he can't sing for shit? All in all, it's a good prog album. It reminds me of early Caravan a little bit.
