Actually nearly everything about this album sounds good, Scott Burns baldcucks should listen to this and understand what real production is like. Nice crisp treble for the sharp razorwire leads and a muscly lower mid end so it doesn't sound weak and tinny like BM. Of the old War Metal crowd, these guys are miles better than Blasphemy, Archgoat, etc. Its actually rather crazy this came out in 1994, literally mogged all of metal at that point, years before Angelcorpse, I guess the only other people doing anything this crazy back before them would have been Sadistik Exekution (also have great production). Anyways, the main problem with these bands (Pseudogod, Angelcorpse, Sadistik Exekution, etc, etc) is that they are great for about 20 minutes, and then you really start wanting some more variation, ebb, and flow. You'll notice a very similar problem with a lot of the modern black/death/caverous/etc bands such as Mitochondria and Abyssal. Obviously those two bands are writing much more advanced stuff, but the monotonous nature of them starts to get stale before you've finished the album; also Mitochondria and Abyssal has dogshit vocals (really stale after like 5 lines lol) with pretty awful production, which is part of why despite writing better music, its still almost as monotonous as the older more bald bands.
