Thinking about getting something adventury. I want to do some single track and bike camping and I've heard conflicting things. Current thoughts are CFR 300L Rally, RE Himalayan 450, or KTM 890 Adventure R. Some people say the KTM can tear up the single track, some say you need something dirt focused and around 300#s. Am I just going to hate my life if I get the KTM? It'd be so much nicer for long rides to the dirt and carrying shit for camping.

I've rode my Yamaha R3 for a few years now and really want something bigger. I'm pretty set on the ZX6R, anyone have any specific years they like the most? I could buy new and the '24 has a facelift with more low-down power (I might take it to the track eventually but not for a while) and a quickshifter up. But if there's a year where the bike is lighter and still has nice features and a couple grand cheaper I would definitely be keeping an eye out, any recommendations?

A dirty belt with notched groves tuned to 110 would be more taught than a new belt at 110.Spokes are replaceable, but not really a consumable item. Personally I just find the longest stretch of a belt and twist it. If it twists all the way around with little effort it's too loose. If it twists 180° with little effort it's taught. Plus not every spoke is in harmony with the other, some are more dull but still bright enough.TLDR; don't defend this autism.

Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks this either, they make different steering heads to make it turn in easier for tight hairpins. I think that bike was setup for long sweepers from the factory.
