The closest is the Gen III Hemis with their tick, but that's a fault of improper maintenance, not a design flaw.Even the old 318, for all the shit you can give them for being underpowered, can be built to full retardation with ease and take abuse like no other V8 in the world. The 340, 360, 383, and 440 were legendary for their abilities to take power and endure it. The 426 will always be King of Muscle and the only knock against it is that it is a literal detuned race car engine that requires TLC because it was designed to rape the competition in controlled racing environments.
