This is the industrial district of KCK. My first real job was at a factory here when I was 18. We made industrial scale chicken processing machines. The end user would take a live chicken, fit its neck into this metal loop on an arm that was rotating by his work station, the chicken would disappear into this long series of connected contraptions, and chunks of chicken ready to bake or fry would come out of the machine and fall into assorted bins. I took parts from the fabricators and sorted them into bins for the assemblers.

Body positioning is easy and I already have it down, its the first thing they teach for people at track, only bad riders think body position is a hard skill. I can drag a knee if I stuck it out, I just don't have sliders to do so atm lol.

Really the issue is just that I'm dragging toe in a corner trying to upshift, and there isn't anyway to deal with that without using motogp style shifting. Its really fucking dangerous when I drag toe in shoes too, because they don't have sliders, if that catches it'll rip my ankle off in an instant.

My type 1 diabetic barely functioning alcoholic overweight father as recently a bought 2021 model softail style Bullet 500. He has only ridden it once back from the guy he bought it from and will likely never ride it again because of how unhealthy he is, so I am in a position of inheriting it in less than 10 years as my father has made it very clear to me he will be drinking himself to death (his sodium levels are already dangerously low).

Never, because slapping on a microcontroller with a display is about 100x easier and cheaper to manufacture than a proper instrument with lots of moving parts. Yet they can sell the display for more money than the simple instruments. Managers smell money, it never goes back my friend.
