Just rode muh HARLEY DAVIDSON around without a helmet on.Feels good man
I made a service appointment earlier this month for the 18th for valves. Dropped the bike off that date. They still aren't done with it. Earliest it seems I can get it is Thursday.
>>28689623Well you called them already.I work in a shopThe dirty secret is you have to bitch and complain. If you're too nice they'll sit on it for months. That or be a really cool dude that throws money around like candy. They also legitimately might be waiting for parts
ok bros im a noob rider probably under 200 miles.whe i stall my crf450rl it doesn't want to start up again for some reason like the dash lite to start comes on but it just wont. if i wait before i try the light goes off and then it also doesnt work what am i doing wrong bros it usally takes 3-4 times before itll starty
>>28689623I tell them it's my only transportation to and from work, and ask if they can expedite my service order. If they can't, I just tell them I'll take it somewhere else. Either they do it, or I take it somewhere else.

how do you guys cope with having to grab all your gear and put it on in order to go for a ride? i would use my motorbike way more if i didnt have to get my helmet on, my jacket on, my gloves on, etc
>>28689770I live in a state that has winter for like half the year and boots, gloves, and a jacket are just part of life. Cold weather riding is super comfy
>>28689771how many layers do you use? i need me some winter gloves and something for the neck, dunno if scarfs are good enough
anyone tried the chink RGB bluetooth headset?
>>28689783Gf got me one, even tho I already had a cardo. Might stick it to her helmet and see if the two are compatible.>It's also got a shitty action camera built in
>>28689770Have you tried not using so much gear?
>>28689772>>28689772Today it was around the 40s and I wore 4 layers on the top and just jeans for the bottom, wearing knee high socks and leather boots. The 4 layers are, base later cotton shirt sleeve t shirt, then a light cotton twill weave long sleeve sweater, and then a thick heavy duck weave sweater, and finally an insulated nylon outer jacket that has a goretex like membrane. None of it is motorcycle gear, the shirts and sweaters are standard Old Navy stuff and the jacket is REI. With that said, cold hands is the easiest way to ruin a ride, so I'd say good gloves are as important, unfortunately motorcycle specific riding gloves don't come with enough insulation for real cold weather, so under 40f I use insulated nylon mitts that have a goretex membrane in them, mitts are so much better than gloves in real cold, give them a try
Finally the schizo is gone thread is comfy again
>>28689795i seemy main issue right now is the cold wind hitting the gap between my scarf and my helmet, i already ordered one of those thin balaclava type things and hopefully that will fix itits hovering between 5 - 10 C (40 to 50 F) during the morning and i cant really cope with it due to the neck being partially exposed>mitts are so much better than gloves in real cold, give them a tryi have some super thick winter gloves that are not at all made for motorcycling but they mostly get the job done, i may try putting some welding gloves on top of them to protect from the wind too but i will keep mittens in mind
>>28689800390faggot schizo? Or Risitas schizo?
>>28689807My jacket has a collar that zips all the way up works for me, once you have a good winter riding kit, it's like no other kind of comfy imo

>>28690640There's plenty of inexpensive bikes and a lot of poor countries on this planet. Bikes made specifically for india/nepal/whatever around it are just disgusting for some reason. I appreciate affordable machines as well but god damn.
Will the KLE be as good on the trails?
>>28690634It's india, they make like $200 a year. They get 250ccs and below and that's it. If you have any money whatsoever in India, you buy a Royal Enfield as a status symbol
>>28689615What's a man to even do with all that sweaty plump ass?
>>28690675It's not that bad once you get to riding it. The extra plump in the rear makes it good for going soft and the taller height is useful if you're trying to get over anything hard.Oh you meant the cow, I guess she's good as a passenger for ballast in sand.
>>28690668Not a chance, but realistically I don't take my KLX anywhere the KLE couldn't handle and I'm really suffering on the road.Your scenery there looks a ton like mine btw, wonder if we're in the same area.

Alright I just fell in love with Suzuki GXS-8R. Is it a good first bike?
>>28690701It is but only if you get it at a good price
>>28690646>for some reasonwe scoff at low-quality parts on our lower-tier bikes here in the states, and those bikes run $5000Picture the kind of shit that has to be bodged onto a bike worth $1000. Most of the advantages modern tech has offered like electric starters is added because these things are now made at scale and adding it is cheap. There's a reason a kick-started japanese bike from 40 years ago still has better quality than an electric-start indian shitbike today. Every one of these bike are shit because they know the people who buy them are one generation removed from shitting out in the brush and fleeing wild tigers and thus don't know any better. It's the future the governments of the world want for us, but they can't just make our lives third world overnight lest their heads roll.
>>28689660>>28689680I replied to you last thread and based on your last addition, you have flooded your engineJust clutch in, throttle a few times, clutch clutch, go open your choke, try and fire it up againIf its not high idle you didnt open the choke, do that for like 2-3 mins and then ride like itallian stallionDont use shitty fuel, run seafoam next refill, good to go
>>28690668Depends how you ride down said trail. Bombing down some hard packed twin track and breaking the rear loose on a 90 degree turn? Sure. Doing stupid stunts down in a dried up flood plain where you pop up rhe edge and catch some air? Probably not. The KLE is probably going to cost more when you overestimate how hard a patch of dirt is packed down and eat shit on a turn as well.
Quick little run for protein shakes at the local gas station and a quick top off. Little guy just got a full service, though I admittedly got lazy with the torque converter internals.

I have started building my ramp. It is going to be great. Solid, light and as wide as the door so I can use the full doorway while manouvering into the house.Last time I used my narrow ramp the bike fell off, it slid and I snapped the brake lever. I basically use first gear and the clutch to keep it in position while permitting some movement. With a long wide ramp it should be much easier.I'll be adding nogs to the joists tomorrow once I am at door height. Then the diagonal beams, struts and then chipboard on top. Wish me luck :)
>>28690668>perfectly clean like the gray oneProbably just fine, but realistically no. It's not an offroad bike.>>28690680You mostly ride on roads anyway, I'd argue the kle is a better fit for both of you. However, know that it too will struggle on the road. Just like the cb500x does, it's cool for commuting but not for hard core pavement pounding. It's also going to be shittier offroad, though some d606s may help. It's basically the kawasaki cb500x.
>>28690513lollmao
>>28690766Rural Nevada. Also ordered a real headlight for this thing.
>>28690769That's kind of flimsy for a ramp just IIRC I would get stair stringers that fit your stairs and flip them upside-down. >WhySingular pieces of lumber with higher diameter are stronger than multiple pieces of wood being held in with screws and likely costs less than you've spent on those pieces of lumber alreadyjust food for thought idk how big your baiku is. Do you guys ever think about all the undesirables on the roads nowadays making riding even more dangerous than it was before they came here? I just drove through this stroad and saw police sirens, an SUV with 2 beaner teenage girls outside of it, a crashed, knocked over motorcycle, and an ambulance, presumably with the rider inside as I didn't see him. Awful sight. Hispanics and Indians are EASILY the worst drivers, living in California with plenty of them for a time, I saw myself.
>>28690452I just went riding at 38mph tonight not even wearing gloves and just wearing a sweater meant for like 50 degrees and it actually was super fun, it seemed like there was no wind that night I was going 70 effortlessly on my XT250, normally I get like 67 max on that I probably could've got 76
>>28690817Yes I don't like driving anymore and every drive feels like you're street racing some fat spic bitch but you can't escape because fucking boomer is blocking the passing lanes.I knew as soon as I started seeing obvious foreigners and invalids driving around in 2500 and larger trucks.

Awful sight. Hispanics and Indians are EASILY the worst drivers, living in California with plenty of them for a time, I saw myself.I can't blame them 100% because it seems Gen Z in general are just retarded drivers. You get a drivers license now by just not falling asleep during the written, and if you speak spanish, you can simply ask for additional assistance in completing the test and they give it to you.And this gives you the right to drive any kind of vehicle up to Dump Trucks, we don't have consumer license tiers like other countries which would make the road MUCH SAFER. It's a fucked system, I swear. Better invite a billion more Pajeets and Pacos in.

>>28690820based xt 250 enjoyer. Do you have the carbed version?>70 effortlessly I'm always paranoid about going past 65, the engine never sounds like it likes it.
>>28690840It's funny because indians have some of the best motorbike riders in the world. They start them out at age 4 riding scooters on some of the most do-or-die streets on Planet Earth which, if any of them had cameras, would make Chinese traffic liveleaks look like preschool television programming. It's just they can't make the jump to driving full-sized automobiles because it's not like that's a required skill in their country or is even permitted without having worked there as a specialized high-caste driver. Many of them only rode little 250cc bike their entire lives, come over with their motorbike permits, and get put in charge of 30 ton lorries within a month. And the absolute State of California just turns a blind eye to it because they would effectively have no shipping industry if they didn't allow it. And you know the funniest shit? When any of them publicly fuck up, there are millions of other jeets protesting and writing to support their fellow caste regardless of how badly they fucked up. Like this guy. 2.6Million Rahjeeds and Sanreets wrote in to insist he serve no jailtime for killing a family of 5 when he couldn't read basic street signs on is cross-examination. Jeets literally think it's their given right to simply kill every other race as long as they get money for it.
>>28690847Forgot the article lmfao https://www.fox26houston.com/news/harjinder-singh-nearly-2-5m-people-sign-petition-supporting-driver-accused-deadly-florida-crash>If convicted, the petition requests that Singh receive a "proportionate and reasonable" sentence, that parole eligibility be granted after part of his sentence is served and that alternatives to incarceration — like counseling or community service — be considered. This guy killed four people by trying to use an emergency vehicle U-Turn lane with his Lorry in the middle of the interstate that is labeled 2-3 times as being for service vehicles only and No U-turn permitted. None of the signs he could read when questioned btw. If he had killed anyone in this thread the nation of Pajeet would be writing petitions that you deserved it and will be reincarnated as a cow to compensate.
>>28690785Not that big but I have built it now and I would be disappointed with myself if I didn't finish it and it wasn't as strong as possible. Also my steps are a bit of a strange shape as I think the original doorstep wore out and some later owner built new ones with no particular plan and paid little attention to fitting an ungainly motorcycle through the door.
>>28690841Yeah I also rarely go past 60. It's also pretty hilly here so if there's both wind and an incline I only get 55mph maxing it out. I haven't ridden a motorcycle in weeks though and even going 40 felt super fun and heart pumping, going 70 felt like I was going 160. The engine can handle maxing it out just fine though I'm sure if you just change oil more frequently. Honda Groms are often ridden completely maxed out and the engines are similar. >do you have the carbed versionNo mine is one of the EFI models
>>28690852Fair enough, just be sure to use a level and measuring tape to make sure they're evenly spaced and level. As best as they can be with the original stairs being the way they are.
>>28690854nice, I probably got the same model you do (mine is a 24)Similar problem in that I want to ride it more but real life gets in the way. Was thinking about commuting on it.
>>28689770Most of my riding is just jacket, gloves, helmet. The most fiddly part is strapping on my shoulder holster. IWB is way more comfortable, but I'm too paranoid of my pistol falling out since there's no positive retention on my regular walking around holster.

>>28690847>California just turns a blind eye to it because they would effectively have no shipping industry if they didn't allow itactually insane imagine if they just paid real wages, youd get human driverscould probably even entice poles and slavs, who actually know how to drive trucks
>>28690771I do get off some, but it's a real catch-22 because getting to anywhere good to ride off road is a 30+ minute ride on one lane each way highways where I literally get passed by semi trucks uphill at full throttle on the KLX. On top of that a lot of the places worth going are not just 50+mi from me but also 30+mi from the nearest gas, which doesn't leave me a lot of safety margin. The KLE may not be a 1000mi a day touring monster but it should be able to hold 75-80 on those highways, be comfortable enough to do a few hours each way on them (hell I've done 3+ hour rides on the KLX so I ought to be able to handle double that on the KLE if it's not all at once, i.e. going to Portland and back which is 3 hours each way), and have the range to connect the gas stations in the more remote areas or have enough to do a decent amount of gravel/easy trail riding.
>>28690877Reliability is just too sketchy for me on the 390 Enduro. Dork in the Road's was already leaking oil when I was at his campout last month. Also the range sucks as bad as the KLS's does.
>>28690866When the borders were completely opened up during the Biden administration it was a thing that people from Africa, India, what other third world hellholes would get flown into Mexico to then cross the southern border. The Indian truck driver who just killed 3, illegal who came under Biden.
>>28690865My shoulder rig is a vertical kydex snap-in with an added retention strap. The guy who made it tried to talk me out of adding the strap, but I wanted as much piece of mind as possible. I don't want to be backtracking possibly hundreds of miles looking for a gun on the highway.

>>28690947 (me)>>28690957>>28690882well crap i hopped on facebook to check out the enduro 390 group and there's a shitload of people complaining about it stallinglots of "trust the science, ktm will software update"...r*ddit seems to also think it's a risky buyyeah fuck man i'm just not the kind of guy who can tolerate the dealership holding onto my bike for days on end.probably just stick with this little old peashooter klx for a while longer. if the drz had a 6th gear i don't think i'd hesitate about buying one

>>28690894>It is their highest religious obligation to crush or be crushed under the wheels of a juggernautThat's not actually true, but don't let it stop you from repeating it, I guess.
>>28690522>They look so normal its disgustingHow do they all look the same across multiple races
>>28690534The more long tours I go on the less stuff I take. Clean, dry clothes and comfy sneakers for when done riding for the day is like 99% of what you really need.
>>28690551Wind proof, water proof gloves are life savers in the cold season.
the more i look at it the more confused i get
>>28691138Reverse image search says it's a highly customized Super Cub, and the related images suggest a wild custom scene in Japan, which isn't really surprising.
Well I'm officially done fucking with this. Ridiculous amount of hours I've collectively spent trying to fix the low rpm throttle issue and nothing seems to fix it. I actually managed to get in contact with a couple of 07/08 zx6r owners via Facebook groups and they said their bikes do the exact same thing and nothing ever fixed it.I'm officially calling it a design flaw and walking away from it. It's just a bike for the twisties now anyway, so what does it matter I guess.
Why don't you get yourself a jeeta on a scoot?
>>28691187
>>28691220How to JeetaMaxx as a brownoid senpai?
>>28691226Start with a tanned rin, best version ganguro weebs approved
>>28691231If I get rejected by Rin or Hane chan, it would break me, but random Jeetas, probably nothing will happen.
>>28691231I fucking hate this plastic whore. Rin is pure and cute, with natural blonde hair and fair skin. This pic is a gross fake hag.
>>28691174Sell it and get a CBR600RR or an R6.
>>28691239Youre wrong
Anyone try carcoversfactory? I just want a good outdoor cover
>>28691138seems to have a turbo with an intake cooler as well as a custom water-cooling and oil-cooling setup.
>>28691256On a trail 125?
>>28690674That's not wrong, and the really rich ones buy 600cc+ bikes from Honda, Suzuki, Kawi, Triumph, BMW and Ducati.
>>28690701No, get a CB300R, CB500R or a Duke 390. 8R will kill you.
>>28690634They sell way too many scoots, 100cc and 125cc bikes here. Other than that, GB350, CB300R are also sold here and its pretty cool. If you are looking at bigger bikes Transalp, CBR650R, IDK what else they sell here. XL750 is one of their better sellers.
>>28691242R6 for a track bike would be amazing. However, I've done so much work and optimized this bike, I'd have to do that all over again and I'd never get the money back out of it. For a dedicated purpose bike that doesn't get used much, it's fine.
Just want to let you niggers know I both hate and love you. -anon
>>28691284I love you too anon.
>>28690513>how is it gonna look like?Hopefully less shitskinned
>>28691284Keep me posted
>>28691239I agree with this post. I like shoomers, but his fake Rin kills me.
Rin is great because she doesn't choose to be sexy, like a suzuki- she just naturally is.
>>28691313Damn I love that girl
>>28691306NO U
>>28691323
>>28691313She is, isn't she.
>>28691239Rin has black eyebrows and brown eyes. Her hair color isn't natural. Onsa on the other hand is very natural and real.
>>28691292Isn't it crazy how the prettiest girls and Yamaha always come together?
>>28691352I love Onsa.
>>28691352Sex hair
>>28691031>That's not actually true,Oh yeah? How come William Simpson was writing about it in 1894 then? Wheel mythology dominates Indian religion and foreigners have been noticing and commenting for centuries. See for yourself:https://archive.org/details/buddhistprayingw00simpIt is not just truck drivers deliberately mowing down motorcyclists. One of them recently downed a whole plane full of people by cutting off the fuel as it was taking off.The point in this belief system is there is no need to pay any attention to other road users. It is in God's Hands. He spares you if He wants to. Knock you off and squash your legs this thin? He rolls on.
>>28691352Rin is half Japanese and Half American
>>28691397All Indians should be killed.
>>28691352Blonde people can have black eyebrows and pubes. They can also have brown eyes. She is very much real, unlike onsa, Japanese people only have straight hair and don't look Jewish.
>>28691403:(
>>28691397I will believe a 19th century British account of native Indian practices when the Tooth Fairy makes a personal appeal to me of its veracity.
>>28690847To be fair you gotta really be a special someone to crash into the back of a 18wheeler. They literally can't turn or stop for shit so like....how do you crash into it so hard that you kys instead of just stopping in time or going around kek. Jeet literally did nothing wrong.
>>28691412Now post Japanese natural blonde girl, I'll wait. They don't exist.
>>28691440Looks korean, does not look japanese.
