>>4373351>art is quoted>nazi has to bitch about jews anywaysSo, why do good nazi artists not exist? neo nazis and conspiracy theorists in particular are just aesthetically incompetent in the same fashion as people who have been mentally ill their entire life. Neo nazis are incapable of shutting the fuck up with their myth that jews invented art other than nazi state approved pseudo-intellectual pseudo-classical .No, dears, I'm afraid it was all white people. Even street photography is a white invention (french and scottish to be specific), and is despite a 20th century rush of jews (courtesy of another white invention, the leica freedom train, and white society's existing trends in art favoring street photography), still today a primarily white activity. And all the "jews" in art are actually just germans who are hardly jewish in any sense. Most of them are whiter than adolf "sonofa gypsy" hitler, so your antisemitism is extremely misplaced.>>4373384Atheists are grossly overrepresented among good art (delacroix, picasso, van gogh, bacon, monet, da vinci, and dali when the mood struck him)You could also say that intelligent people are overrepresented among good art, and things that do not correlate well with intelligence do not correlate well with good art.

You won't find much great art from murderous israeli and palestinian terrorists either. Evil people can't make art. It has nothing to do with your gross demiurge fetish.Normally atheists can, do, and should have souls because they are gnostics who have seen the lies of demiurge and know that any true god is above even worship, any true god will be found and understood when mankind deserves to know of it. My widest lens is the 12-45mm. Should I get a wider lens? Which are good? I do landscape often enough but never really feel the need to go wider, but I like a lot of landscape photogs who frequently go into the 18-24 (FF equivalent) range. Is the old Oly 9-18 any good? >>4373666yes, of course she would. the a7c is a camera for lesbians
>>4373688yes, the 9-18 is "any good". of course not as good as the 7-14 or 8-25 but still more than good enough. you're going to step it down anyway so it will be plenty sharp. I'd suggest to get it and see if you actually like ultra wide at all (because it's by far the least expensive of the three).
>>437368824mm (equiv.) is basically the widest (normal) focal length, so it's wide for most photography. Going further you get into fisheye territory which is either really useful to you, or not at all. Landscape fisheye can be funky and cool, but only if the environment calls for it, which ofc, depends on where you go, so YMMV. If it's cheap enough why the fuck not, but I personally think 24mm (equiv.) is a god-tier focal length
>>4373705You mean in general or mft? Because there are 15mm FF lenses with very little distortion, that really isn't fisheye-only teritory.
>>4373723>24mm (equiv.)>equivwhat did he mean by this?
>>4373723I was speaking in general. You are right that going to 23mm isn't suddenly fisheye, but the distortion get more significant. I have a 10mm lens I use on M43 that has significant distortion and would consider it light fisheye.I digress because the point I wanted to make is distortion gets stronger at extremely wide FLs which generally isn't great for landscape shots.
>>4373744That depends on the lens. Picrel is 15mm FF lens.
>>4373700Oh easy! Mft cameras really are optimized for use as a light meter for better cameras!

Why is micro four thirds so shit?I shoot most of my stuff at ISO 64 on Z7 II but wand a smaller portable camera, something that'd do well in bright light. Micro four turds being 200 base ISO isn't doing it any favors, some smartphones can shoot super low ISO, why can't four turds do the same?Even if I'm in direct sunlight every micro four turds I had the opportunity to use is noisy as shit even when you're shooting on a tripod with proper exposure even ETTR.. it's so much noisier than foolframe it doesn't make any sense.Just WHY is it so bad?I don't get it.I want one because I don't necessarily want full frame for everything (the DOF is a meme when you want it to be deep) and I figured it would be a nice side camera for telephoto shit or macro but apparently everyone is happy applying tons of noise reduction to mft and claims it's not shit. I disagree.I would happily use longer shutter speeds or a brighter flash to get a good image but base 200 ISO and the performance seems to make capturing good images impossible unless you do bracketing, to match what a single properly exposed shot on foolframe can do.Fucking ridiculous.
>>4374663Sounds like a skill issue
>>4374663Heh, pathetic mft noob. Everything you just described as a bad things is actually why mft is so good. Maybe one day you'll figure things out...

>>4374617I hope so, I just bought one to play around with and so I can leave a telezoom permanently on my E-M1. Going to use my pancake EZ and 17/1.8 with it, maybe some vintage lenses
>>4374670That's an extended ISO.>>4374672G7G95M10 IV (was best of them)>Do you actually take photos? Do you even have a Z7ii?Of course and the autofocus is shit and the electronic shutter being ~1/15th is incredibly slow so is unusable for anything moving, would not recommend Z7II for anything other than high IQ shots of mostly stationary subjects with a tripod. When it works though, it works. The sensor is good so I continue to use it but once Nikon releases something better I'll probably be replacing it.Old Canon SL1 has better AF, Nikon is so retarded they make their cameras back focus on things not even in the focus point displayed on your LCD. The G95's AF seemed great in comparison, was a little slow but always locked on well and that's probably because it is all contrast detect.Nikon's smartphone remote control app is also fucking retarded I loved panasonic's, Canon's is what I'd consider standard.Believe it or not Nikon doesn't let you shoot the Z7II at base (64) ISO if you're using snapbridge. It forces you do use ISO 100. Nikon is retarded.

It is a substitute for "fool frame" like a 1" PNS is.>omg muh equivalence if u only shot f16 iso 1000 all the time...u lose! fucking DOF cheater! Its capabilities are a subset of full frame and if you're happy with it you are literally one step, one ISO step to be exact, away from pocketable point and shoots like the rx100, and if you only use the 17mm or 20mm its a worse, bigger ricoh GR.There is nothing you can do on it that FF can't doFF adds all the extras. The extra stops of light. The option to use shallower DOF. The added sharpness from demanding less out of a lens even with 45mp. The added processing potential of higher resolutions. The better color rendition at every ISO from larger pixels having fewer per-pixel errors fucking up the bayer conversion. Etc. FF is just more. High res FF is even a low res APS-C camera if you crop. That's why it costs more. It is more. It is better.>inb4 IBIS wankA feature of questionable use. It warps video, the good long exposure times are out of IBIS' wheelhouse, and every camera has enough IBIS+OSS for good handheld speeds now anyways.
>>4374663what you want is aps-ctoo bad nikon doesnt make a good aps-cmft is just not what it could be unless you spend as much as you would on a brand new FF snoy on a G9II and overpriced, under-aperture'd pana"leica" shite that looks more optically mediocre than it is considering the demands of 25mp mft

you didmicro four thirds is fucking garbage that belongs in the bin with sony rx10s and nikon coolpixestruth hurts. time for you to stop making these gear threads and just post your snapshits in /dst/.
>>4374663You're too autistic about noise, small amount of it is often fine. Sometimes even a lot of it. Some of my better shots are shot on D750 at 8k where the main light source was a small fire we were sitting around. And I'm not even using excessive denoising, just basic profiled denoise. The noise from MFT is nothing compared to that.
>>4374887>>4374893A good photographer will mog whatever snapshits you take even if all they have is a digishit with a 1/2.5" sensor. If you actually knew how to shoot images, you would not be sperging here.

good morning micro four saardsI love shooting macros and stuff like photographing coins. I have a reversed 24mm mounted on bellows. it's not super sharp and it's hard to use.I'm feeling like buying the olumpys 90mm macro and a high resolution m43 body for macros since it lets me reach 4x magnification with the extension tube. thoughts? what's a good body? the GH6 is a video machine but also has 25MP but is also, again, a video machine.

>>4374983>lensDo the calculations for if you need the extra magnification from the 90mm lens. It is a 2x lens and the sensor is 13mm high, so an object 6.5mm high would fill the frame vertically. If you only want to photograph things around 10mm high a 1x lens like the much cheaper 60mm lens would be fine. If you attach a Raynox 250 it'll give you about 2x magnification for the 60mm lens. The 90mm will be sharper than this combo at 2x.If you look at modern macro photography competitions they virtually all use microscope objectives adapted to lenses. You probably don't need this level of magnification, but these are sharper at that level than lenses with extension tubes... they tend to also focus stack. It's very fussy and for imaging stuff a lot smaller than coins. I'd consider this route against the 90mm for 4x or 8x FF equivalent though. The 90mm is really meant for macro while outside the studio: it has autofocus, is weather sealed, and has dual IS for handheld usage. All things you'd be paying for without needing.>extension tubesThey're more effective with shorter focal lengths, so try plugging in the 30mm (1.25x) or 60mm (1x) lenses as well if you want to go that route.>bodyIf you get a body with a high res mode it'll beat anything single shot. I think both brands have good high res modes now, but check that they look good as you expect.

I got into M43 for the Panasonic 100-300 and Olympus 60 macro on a Panasonic G9 body. I have not been very impressed with any other lens I have tried. The Panasonic 14-140 and similar are interesting in an appliance sort of way. I do not doubt that Panaleica and Olympus PRO lenses are good but there is no advantage in size, weight and cost at that point. The other advantage to the system are $100 bargain bin lenses but I am not the target market for those.

>>4375044If only MFT had the per-photosite quality of fool frame.Say what you want about muh reech and sensor area but I'll state a fact to deboonk any autistic arguments suggesting anything false.16MP MFT should be about on par with 61MP foolframe, that's physics. Same photons per photosite there. What's the excuse for it not working that way?Oh, right.Because everything else is the problem. The fact that the sensors in MFT cameras are worse is proof that it's not actually about sensor/pixel size at all and we've been getting lied to the whole time.High end cinema cameras have more dynamic range shooting video than stills cameras have for stills and they almost always have smaller sensors. It's all bullshit.MFT just needs a GOOD sensor and it would rule everything but nobody's doing that because MFT is the toy camera form factor. We need more pressure from smartphones to force MFT into getting good.
>>4374865yesIn fact0,1 moreJokes aside, I haven't used that one but it checks the same boxes as my panaleica. small size and decently bright, I do prefer the slightly wider 15, makes fitting the mates in the frame a little bit easier.
