These units receive only the scraps left after the prioritized fronts get their supplies—in other words, almost nothing. The troop ratio is 1:8 in favor of the "tourists" (the enemy). Moreover, the enemy has a massive advantage in equipment, most notably an unlimited supply of KABs (guided glide bombs). The enemy has tanks and artillery, while we have drones, T-64 tanks, a few Javelins, machine guns, mortars, and automatic rifles. Yet, despite this disparity, our forces hold their ground and repel attack after attack. How is this possible?The answer lies in innovation, cooperation and communication between units, motivation, good commanders and officers, cunning, and support from volunteers.Let me illustrate the situation with what happened when we arrived. We were able to follow events live from Sky’s command center. It was known that our left flank was very weak, and the enemy was aware of this.
