>>489223304Capitalism is a jewish pyramid scheme which runs on perpetual geometric expansion of the fiat currency supply and inevitably periodically fails through either hyperinflation or massive depression and cancellation of large swaths of the fiat currency supply, where the working class have their savings cancelled in bank "failures" or "bail-ins", like what happened during the Cyprus banking crisis.Capitalism cannot afford to purchase its own aggregate internal production at a price which it is profitable to produce that output at, unless the money needed to constitute the profits is continually added to the system, such as by creating fiat currency (or more of it than is already in existence) or allowing counterfeiting or debasing of sound money such as silver coins, such as by reducing the purity or the weight of the coins. However, the money creation needs to be continuous to enable continued capitalist production. And because of the law of diminishing returns, the rate at which new money is created needs to accelerate over time (the money supply growth needs to be geometric). Otherwise, the rate of expansion of the money supply gradually approaches 0% of the already existing money supply over time, as the money supply grows. For example expanding the money supply from $10 trillion to $11 trillion within a year is a yearly growth of 10%. But expanding it further, from $11 trillion to $12 trillion in the subsequent year is only a growth of 9.(09)%. For the money supply to grow another 10% in the second year, it needs to grow from $11 trillion to $12.1 trillion rather than just $12 trillion.GDP is not economic activity but the estimated and imputed rate of exchange of fiat per year.Inflation, including due to scarcity, inflates the GDP. Deflation, including due to abundance, deflates the GDP.Fiat currency is not wealth but merely claims on wealth.Wealth is what you spend fiat currency on, not fiat currency itself.Capitalism is not a closed loop system.

>>489247578It takes too long to explain and I'm not paid to describe Russia's economic policies to foreigners. The crux of the matter is that Russia is self sufficient in resources and has its own military industrial complex, so various government spending schemes that stimulate the economy don't "leak" abroad + the fact that private enterprise has to raise wages to compete with government orders in the MIC (which attracted many people to otherwise unfamiliar professions). The latter point provided an extra boost to consumption.

>>489250263I already mentioned private enterprise having to compete with the MIC above. As for North Korean soldiers - the employment of mercenaries has been a common practice in warfare for millenia. Russia has no one to finance it and doesn't receive any military aid; all the "supplies" (as the Western press calls them) it receives from China, North Korea and Iran are bought. This means that Russians both fight and work at the same time. Then there's also the matter of the government wishing to maintain an exclusively volunteer based recruitment, which the society fully supports aside from a very small number of extreme hardliners calling for mass mobilization. Recruiting North Koreans is fully in line with that policy. By the way, South Korean intelligence says one of the forms of payment is rice. https://www.koreaherald.com/view.php?ud=20241103050116

Well,Numbers are one thing. How people adapt is another thing.I don't like or agree with russian politics or how they operate, but reality is that Russia do adapt. This is something that most countries do unless they are these shitholes in africa or middle east that never will function at all regardless. It has a lot to do with culture, and this is something we never hear or really talk about. Russians adapt and accept because most of Russia is a very simple life and with very little luxury. You have Moscow and St.Petersburg along with some other major cities, but if you look at Russia as a whole, it is not exactly Monaco or Beverly Hills. So when you have a population who is used to hard times and a lifestyle that is pretty shitty looked from our point of view, it is easier to accept and adapt, than for instance wealthy countries that really have not had much problems. Hell most problems western countries have had for decades are luxury problems. Shit like, we cant buy the car brand we want, or live in that specific neighborhood or that our home is not as modern or big as we wanted. We have TV shows here where news interview people who lives in houses, drive brand new cars, wearing nice clothes and shit, and complain about how hard it is for them to pay the bills because of this and that, when the solution would be to sell the car and buy a cheap one (just to make an example)In the long term I dont think it will go well for Russia. Times will get harder and people will have less and less. This is just common sense and basic economy. But I don't think that Russia is going to crumble and fall apart and turn into this apocalyptic place the way media tend to portray its future. Thing is that hard times create stronger people. Good times create weaker people. This was basically Rome in a nutshell. They had everything, and then things started to float. Same thing that sadly has happened here in the west.

Apple and AMD have started to invest in building their chips in the country. Google and Microsoft have offices there now for software dev not just call centers. Something needs to be done about India if they want to start to collapse Russia, and then sanction China's company so their economy will slow down so much that Russian oil demand goes down. Then regulate crypto so they can't just get past Western sanctions. But no one will cause the West is ruled first by greed. Russia will be fine.
>>489227428Ivan, do you know why interests are raised to curb inflation? Inflation is often caused by an increase in demand in the market that the supply cannot meet. When you raise the interest rates, not only are you making loans more expensive, disincentivizing economic expansion, but also incentivizing people to spend less and save more. Not great when the current government tax collection is not sufficient to fund the war.

>>489253211what does this have anything to do with the economy growing from high interest rates?
>>489254268Read the articles.>The second reason for Russia’s party economy relates to its unusual monetary policy. In order to deal with high inflation the central bank has raised interest rates from 7.5% to 18%. More increases may be on their way. This has the effect of strengthening the rouble by attracting foreign investment from “friendly” countries such as China and India, which in turn cuts the price of imports and thus inflation. It also encourages people to save, trimming consumer spending. In a normal economy higher rates would hurt indebted households and companies, as their cost of repaying debt rose. His death ended the Rurik dynasty, leading to a violent succession crisis with numerous usurpers and false Dmitrys (imposters) claiming the title of tsar.[3] Russia experienced the famine of 1601–1603, which killed almost a third of the population, within three years of Feodor's death. >The Time of Troubles ended with the election of Michael Romanov as tsar by the Zemsky Sobor in 1613, establishing the Romanov dynasty, which ruled Russia until the February Revolution in 1917.
