It's extremely messy and uncoordinated, much more than I'd expect of a rookie. GLEAT is really just a parent company with two promotions within it. There's G-PRO, the pro-wrestling side, and LIDET UWF, the shoot style side. The main roster is right now composed of CIMA and his boys he brought with him from a mini-exodus from DragonGate, so the main style is similar to that but a little less flippy, while LIDET is classic UWF shoot stylle.
GLEAT suffers from uneventful house shows with a lot of meaningless matches, and the angles are very hard to follow as a non-Japanese speaker, but the match quality in general is fantastic. All of their stuff is free on YouTube, so it's a very easy promotion to get started with in that sense.
If you want a taste of it, I would suggest:
