"I think I'll check out the tea club," you tell your friends."Okay. I'll go on ahead, then," Kyosuke nods. "See you tomorrow?""Yep.""I'll see what the swimming club is about," Miki says. "Bye-bye, Kyo-chan!"And with this, you split up.The tea club has 4 people recruiting. They made a miniature tea stand out of a student's desk brought out on the school grounds, and there are cups of fragrant tea standing on it. Most people drink some and leave without applying for joining. The club members seem a bit disheartened by it. Some of them, at least. You approach their desk, getting a closer look at the senpais. 3 girls, 1 guy. The first girl sports long black hair, glancing around at the passing students with interest. The second one seems the most depressed of them all, as if on the verge of crying, pushed deeper down with every student excusing themselves after tasting the tea. She has shoulder-length, wavy hair. The third girl, with her hair bundled into a ponytail, and the guy with a friendly air about him look a bit sad, but generally not too bothered."Hello," you say, "I'm Motoharu Hisanori. I'm not too experienced with tea ceremony, but your club looks interesting. Could you tell me about it?"Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
"Better how?" The guy asks."Um... I like the subtle sweetness. The fruity taste really evokes memories of summer, I think. Sorry, I'm not too big of an expert. Well, I told you already, haha..." You scratch your head, looking down apologetically."Zenji-kun, we might have struck a gold vein here," Sumi says, putting a hand to her chin, with a mischievous smirk."It's also important to express your thoughts clearly," Kodachi says, still serious, but with a somewhat more gentle look in her eyes. "You'd be a good member, I think. Want me to give you an application form?""Um... I'd like to know more about you guys before I decide," you say. "What... do you even really do? Just drink tea?""We also eat Japanese sweets that we purchase with part of our club budget," the guy replies."Don't listen to him, he just really likes sweets," Kodachi says. "The most important thing we do is participate in tea ceremonies. Admiring the calligraphy while drinking tea, contemplating philosophy, preparing tea in special ways... the ceremony is the heart of this club.""Don't listen to her!" Sumi says. "Don't get scared away by this, Motoharu-kun. It's really quite intuitive once you learn the basics." Kodachi rolls her eyes at Sumi's words, but says nothing. "Anyway, we taste various flavours! It's really a huge world of these out there! Ahh, sharing a taste of tea with someone - it's the best feeling!"Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

Faces unfamiliar to you pass by, speaking in a tongue of gibberish that is only partially comprehensible. Half of them wear tribal attire of losers larping as tribal warriors, but their cosmetic scars and muscles were way too refined to be just costumes. The sky rolls in a color you've never seen before.
>>6347905“Your Highness?” You're snapped out of your bickering by Malcador’s worried tone. “Right, that… Honestly I didn't expect it to be so potent, really.” ‘Or for it to be a beacon at all’ “I'll have to make some adjustments to its specifications it seems.” It's probably fixable anyhow ‘I wouldn't count on it.’ You bemoan to yourself the unending interjections and decide on your next question to Malcador“Is that how you found me?” “Yes lord. I tried following the pulse immediately after it was fired, but I could only reach so far before being abruptly cut off. Your psychic defenses are formidable, If I hadn’t managed an Invitation from one of your commanders I would’ve never had reached you like I did.” So now the custodes need a psychic countermeasure, I still need to know how and what he did to get that. “And how did you manage to get one in such a short time?” “It was blackmail, lord. After having heard the soldiers complain about being “held back” and “wasting their potential” I surmised that you must have ordered them to not attack the villagers and civilian population, for which I am extremely grateful, and stipulated my help be conditional on our meeting. They obviously denied the first 2 times, but after the Empire’s assault on your forces they begrudgingly agreed to tell me where your base was.” ‘That never should’ve happened.’ Will you shut up for once! You glare at your ghost behind malcador.“Hmm… you’re quite the resourceful man, Malcador.” “Your words honor me, my Lord.” “But you must also have concerns, questions of your own as well right? Tell me.” Malcador stiffens at your question, looking around him as if to make sure you’re alone. Your ghost, still alert and judgemental, is no longer there.Once he’s sure he turns to you with a worried expression “Your Lordship, I don’t want to alarm you, but there may be a parasite or parasites feeding on your soul!” It starts slow, a little giggling that builds up into laughter which morph into full on cackling.Malcador looks on incredulously, together with the look of utter disappointment from your ghost beside him, as your sides are banished into the warp for what malcador just told you. You laugh like never before for several more minutes before your humor finally dies down. “Whew, I had no Idea I was needing that, thank you Malcador” “You’re… welcome, your majesty?” “But settle your concerns. No, I don’t believe I’m being parasitized, despite how he behaves himself with me.” “You have absolutely no right to judge me after this.” Malcador gets startled by the ghost physically manifesting beside him, the first time he does so to anyone other than yourself or anywhere outside your study.Comment too long. Howdy bros, I'm back. I wanted to continue RimQuest, but the combination of an artist shafting me, Rimworld 1.6 breaking all of my saves, life events, and depression have fucked that into the dirt. So instead here's something new. These are the dark years of the occupation. Gordon Freeman is still just a story passed between cells, squads, strangers, and couples. In this moment in time there's only you, a lone human working to resist the Combine occupation however you see fit and remain able. There will be an Uprising someday, this you're sure of, but the path there lies on the other side of lakes of blood and considerable effort on the part of unsung warriors like you.It had felt like days since you last saw the sun back outside the outskirts of City 11. The awful stench of the sewers and cisterns which meandered under the streets of what used to be Berlin forced you to find something to plug your nose with almost immediately upon beginning your infiltration. Deep regret at leaving the accommodations, spartan as they were, of the Resistance base north of the city had massaged your mind, but failed to slow your occasionally-soggy step through the barely-lit darkness. All this had a purpose, you reminded yourself. In the newspeak of the Combine you are an Anticitizen, a Malignant, the malformed cell that starts the cancer, the one that sets the spark which will light the torch of humanity's liberation. Or, in more plain terms, the crazy fucker that volunteers to go back into the Cities in order to bring contraband in, people out, and start up new resistance cells along the way. If there were some omniscient statistician in the sky, he could have given you odds of survival that would have seen you sit your ass back down in Finow when they called for somebody to replace Parks's sector after his presumed loss, but all the same, it needed to get done. The whole goddamned species was at stake, with a biological time limit that edged closer to expiration every year and a planet slowly being strangled of its life. If this generation didn't stop them, there would be no other. Never in human history had there been as existential and desperate a struggle as the one you now trudged through obscure German shit-tunnels to wage.It had only been half a day since you entered the sewer system when you reached your target. A junction in the tunnels marked by a chalk marker and a lone, white coffee mug. The route into this part of the city was prepared beforehand by a two-man reconnaissance team, people with equipment and experience too valuable for you to know or to be risked with the next, most dangerous part of City infiltration. You were briefed that they left you a red bag full of necessaries to help you along on your mission from here, hidden in a storeroom near the marker.

In a dark place, a made-man struggles against his bonds. Before him, several tools glimmer and sway gently along the wall, the strange bald druggist who knocked him out playing with them. The room is barely illuminated from the streetlights, passing cars, and electric billboards of Level 4. True darkness and silence is not common here.“...It's always women, prostitutes. Transient kids. People who won't be missed. That's no fun. I think doing it to men is much more fun; but not because you're a boy. More because it's not somebody you'd expect. It could be anybody.””You want money? I got money. Pacelli connections.”“You will be next great creation. Worth far more then any amount of dirty criminal money.”“Who da fuck... wait, you're from Level 2?”The man doesn't say anything, instead the stranger brandishes a razor, testing its sharpness against a finger, turning to the mobster. He looks over his captive, eyes looking for the juciest piece to cut first. The mafioso tries to pull out from the rope, the chair squeaking. He sweats. Bribes will certainly not work.“You'd be smart to let me go, psycho. I'm a dangerous man, and I know dangerous people!”He grins at the mafioso with a golden tooth. Comment too long. You are Marnie, a girl living in the Ark known as the Digital World. For all your life, you've endured a dreary existence in City 87-O, haplessly railing against a skin-deep system that denies you all but the most meaningless human experiences. You've spent years beholding the shining tower in the center of the city, and watched its guardian Digimon circle it endlessly, protecting the portal that leads out of this sunless landscape. Throughout your youth, you never thought you'd actually be able to make your dream a reality. But things have begun to change over the past few months.A chance meeting with a Digimon has plunged you into a hidden world of wonders, filled with wild Digimon, enigmatic Code Crackers, mysterious server partitions that reveal the City's inner workings to you, and underground organizations seeking to bring change to this world. Amidst this danger is the authenticity you've so dearly craved, and you've never been happier. Right now, you're in the middle of a mission to take down your Digimon Nemesis. You and your partner, Phascomon, have broken into the lair of DarkTyrannomon, who has taken over an entire Job District. You've made it past his lieutenants and minions and are mere steps away from facing down your foe one last time and putting an end to his danger. Once that's done, you plan to climb The Tower, defeat its guardian, and finally claim your freedom. The real world awaits.== Thread 1:https://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/2025/6216903/Thread 2:https://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/2025/6254189Comment too long. >>6349072Welcome back QM! >Write-in "Well, we are not a terribly unfriendly pair, but we came to this village to ensure the safety of the children and to resolve two important matters. One was the healing of their parents, the other is more personal. Many years ago a child was blinded in this village... We are searching for the one, or group, responsible. Do you know of such a person, or where we might begin to look? We are both unused to civilized domains such as this, unfamiliar with the cultures and customs of settlements. If you truly desire kinship, it can be had by aiding us in this matter." I think is what I would like to say. It'll probably be obvious Mandy is who we are talking about, and I think it'd be best if No-Egg didn't reveal what our intentions are with the one(s) that blinded her (not that we even know what those are for sure, as of yet, I mean if the responsible party is a solitary old man that would be different from say, someone that a family depends on or a mayor/councilman type, etc, I want to get her justice rather than revenge, but am not afraid to kill someone that would take the eyes of a child, if that seems like the right thing, yaknow?).
And separate from my vote, do other anons have ideas for this? I think where my head is at is sort of like: >A single person remaining that was involved, they are unrepentant We should smite them >A group of people remaining that were involved, they are unrepentant Depending on the size, try to convince them to offer some restitution or possibly smite them(?) though that gets dodgy fast. >An individual that is now important and has a lot of influence, or who is at least repentant about their past harm We compel them by some manner to offer restitution to Mandy Clearly the village no longer persecuted magic users as a rule, since Vault is so esteemed. The culture has changed, and that will probably be helpful. Restitution might be helping to pay for a cleric to heal her vision, if that's possible, but also for the villager or villagers responsible to make an oath to spend time tending to the forest and planting trees - it protected Mandy when the villagers wouldn't, and they could honor her by protecting it and cultivating it in turn. I think Mandy has been affected a lot by her time with us and the example we have set for her in terms of compassion, grace, and forgiveness. We should maybe even take a moment to tell her that this may end up being less of a satisfaction to her and may even end up feeling like more of a test of her capacity to be kind, yaknow? But I think we shouldn't challenge her to turn the other cheek unless the responsible party is able to own their wrongdoing and offer SOME means of making it right. Maybe we could insist that person do something like donate a lot of money to the local orphanage and spend time doing work there as a cook or carpenter to improve the conditions of the abandoned children, so they can be a positive presence for kids not unlike Mandy when she was hurt. Just spit-balling here, but it's what I have on the mind right now.

This is but one of the legends of which the people speak...Long ago, there existed a kingdom where a golden power lay hidden. It was a prosperous land blessed with green forests, tall mountains, and peace. But one day, a man of great evil found the golden power and took it for himself. With its strength at his command, he spread darkness across the kingdom. But then, when all hope had died, and the hour of doom seemed at hand......a young boy clothed in green appeared as if from nowhere. Wielding the blade of evil's bane, he sealed the dark one away and gave the land light. What became of the hero is lost to myth, another mystery of the past casting a long shadow. In one village, it is customary that when children come of age, they make a pilgrimage to the nearby ruins, and bring back an artifact. In doing so, they bring what was left in the dark to the light, and keep their history alive. You are from that village, and today you turn 18, and must make your own pilgrimage. Your father was an archeologist at Hyrule University, and now that it is your day to recover an artifact, you are determined to follow in his footsteps with your diligence. But shadows hang over more than the past, now. A ruthless warlord has rallied an army, and has laid siege to Hyrule castle for nearly a year, seeking to claim the golden power. Darkness gathers across the kingdom, and shadows stretch ever farther each passing day... Welcome to LOZ: Umbral Tower, where you will play an unlikely hero destined to save the kingdom from a neverending shadow. In this game you will roll pools of D6s based on your stats, which will improve over time, against competing pools of D6s, where 5's and 6's are considered successes. Ties normally go to the aggressor, not the defender. I may tweak this as we go. Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

“HAHAHA, FOOLISH HEROES, KNEEL BEFORE MY GRAND MAGIC!”Your skeletal body, adorned in robes that have lived longer than any human has breathed, lords over the fallen party of heroes. Your ultimate Origin Magic, though incomplete, has proven more than sufficient to take on the pathetic mortals sent to their knees before its might. Miasma-smoke fills the room, spewed by the necromantic fire left in the wake of your destructive magnum opus. However, to your incredible satisfaction, the Holy Sword itself, the only weapon capable of striking you down, lies corroded beneath the hero’s tattered frame, little more than a sparkly pile of smoldering slag.Yes, your ultimate victory has been achie–Pain unlike any you’d ever imagined stabs through your very being, a thin, needle-like blade jutting out from the cluster of mana animating your undead body, destabilizing it, causing your very being to quiver and weaken. Something is wrong— something is very, very wrong. . You collapse to the floor, your head snapping 180 degrees back to see just who had landed the killing blow. If your eyes could widen, they would: the Hero Michael, who you had thought collapsed in front of you, stands proudly behind you with an unknown blade in your back.“H-how?”“Lich King Atrebor,” the hero declares, his obnoxious condescension shamelessly leaking into his words as he drives the blade even further through your ribs, “you may have been wary of me, the possessor of the Holy Sword, but you paid far too little attention to my real strength: my friends.”You turn your eyes back to the party: an illusion, a paltry trick, dissolves from the worthless entourage of the chosen one, revealing a golem in place of his second in command and that same eternal loser, Reinlock, in his place.“Impossible!” you roar, “I was certain! He– he had the holy sword! He acted just as you would!”Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>Inquire about her research“So, you completely reject the current theories of elements, then?” You ask, curious about an even more radical theory of matter than even your own, “What precisely are you suggesting?”She smiles, a delicate, ladylike thing masking whatever intentions are bubbling beneath the surface. “In ancient Pagalith, before even the kingdom ravaged by the ascension of the Lich King, there was a man with an interesting theory. He considered a stone. Cut it in half, break the halves in twain, shatter those halves again— the stone, if it was homogeneous, would in each of its pieces maintain the same properties. If it were opal, it would shimmer, and if it were flint, you might strike it against steel to start a fire.”“However, it is also true that things may be changed. Wood may be burned into charcoal and smoke,” you continue her line of thought, genuine excitement brewing in your gut, “so, if indeed one supposes that things truly are not destroyed or arbitrarily changed from one thing to another, one must conclude that there are fundamental, indivisible pieces of matter which may simultaneously have arrangements themselves and arrangements of arrangements! The former identity, the latter form and presentation…”Rykov stops, silently taking off her glove and placing her hand upon your cheek. Her skin is covered in scars. “You. I like you.” she grins, her face and tone lacking the pretense of refinement she was exuding earlier, “Usually the Duke sends mages here as a punishment for acting up, but I think this time he sent me one for me. How thoughtful.”“It is temporary,” you clarify, “as I have only agreed to work here until a piece of information I provided the Duke can be verified.”“Hmm. That complicates things.” Rykov frowns, “Spilling research secrets to a temporary assistant is a bit… well, regardless, you certainly pass. For now, you may stay in one of the Castle’s many empty rooms. I’ll call upon you tomorrow.”With a wave of her hand, you find yourself dismissed. What should you do?Comment too long. >>6349209Ah, no pressing our luck? We got 6 votes to press our luck, including the votes to do it regardless of what won.>Look around the city outsideAnyways...some anons wanted to go sightseeing. Maybe having flesh and blood again will help us appreciate the air we breathe and the sights we see. Wouldn't mind retiring to our room to experiment though.

Once upon a time, there was a stricken land where there was no such thing as day, nor morning, no sunrise or sunset, but endless dark. It was alone and obscure, on an island surrounded by waters as black as the sky. Yet the wind carried whispers of warmth and light, so the sad peoples of this land, intoxicated by the drink called hope, entreated their king to find the mythical sun and bring it to their lands. The king of the dark vowed to bring the morning to his people, and departed. After five years, while the king did not return, the morning did come, with all of the light and warmth that could be dreamed of. Yet while the people were happy, the new king’s heir, his granddaughter the crown princess, was skeptical of this new light. So, she ventured over the dark waters towards the light, and finally, she found a great tower atop which burned a sun nothing like had been spoken of, nor what seemed to create the new day. There she met her grandfather, and demanded of him the truth. Was there a sun, or no? Were they living in a day that was just night under a mask? Her elder, sad and weary, asked the simple question of if she could tell the difference. What distinguished the False Light from the Dawn? She could not answer, and returned home, keeping the secret to her grave. Yet, friends and followers of Ange, what if the Dawn that comes is false? What if it is so convincing that none of us can tell it true? What if indeed, the facsimile created is the true one after all?-The Heresy of the False Light, Apocryphal Speech said to be performed by Disgraced Socalist and Disciple of Anton Ange, Aster Du Langue

>>6349150Some follow-up questions then:-Do we need to worry about our family in Lapizlazulli if we side against the other two? I wouldn't put it past our opponents to try using their safety as leverage-Does the Legion have any preference of its own, either choice of destination or any of the contenders? They'll ultimately go with whatever we decide of course but it's good to have a finger on the pulse of our troops.-What's going on in Pontia next door, iirc it's the only Vitelian province not mentioned >>6348964
>>6349152>-Do we need to worry about our family in Lapizlazulli if we side against the other two? I wouldn't put it past our opponents to try using their safety as leverageI think you've already got a good feeling on that one.>-Does the Legion have any preference of its own, either choice of destination or any of the contenders? They'll ultimately go with whatever we decide of course but it's good to have a finger on the pulse of our troops.A fair proportion of your Legion's current combat troops aren't even from Vitelia or are expatriates from such, at least half, though that isn't counting 3rd Battalion who's made up entirely of Vitelians who also rather do not like any of the options presented. If forced to, the Vitelians would choose Pescatore for his familiarity, but most would be happiest being the veritable hero of the story rather than the supporting cast, if you will.>-What's going on in Pontia next door, iirc it's the only Vitelian province not mentionedThey're the domain of the Augustans, and not (yet) directly involved with partisan scuffles between the easterners. Though they've definitely had their eye on what's happening.
>>6349175Hmm considering these I'll swap to>The petty factionalism that broke apart an empire once yours was no business for the Legion. The world was larger than Vitelia, and so was the future. You’d be taking your business elsewhere, and return later to whatever would become of all this.I'd rather not have to uproot our family overseas again and I'm not sure Libero would want to share power with us in the long run (looking at what our cousin was saying about the Triumvirate's tensions) even if we help him out here.

Grand Zen-Oh, the omni king and ruler of the omniverse has declared there will be a massive tournament to be held in his honor. A grand affair between several universes, each battling it out for the very right to exist. And at the forefront of this grand spectacle will be the Saiyans of Universe 7, who Grand Zen-Oh has grown fond of watching battle. Twenty eight years ago, the Saiyan race were annexed into the PTO as just another race, one of many sent to conquer other worlds. Now, the Saiyans are widely regarded as the strongest warrior race in the entire Seventh Universe, defenders of the PTO led by their strongest, the “Dragon of New Salda” General Karn and his family. You the players will (most often) control Karn. A man who has grown from his lowly beginnings as a Saiyan Brawler with a sub-3000 powerlevel in Age 733 to become not only the strongest Saiyan of his time at AGE 759, but also personal friend to the former emperor Lord Freeza, father to well over a dozen powerful and unique children, a mentor and teacher to his fellow Saiyans, and the best hope for his universe's continued survival. No one warrior can hope to battle eight other universes' strongest fighters alone and hope to prevail, one man's power and skill won't be enough to overcome the looming threat of extermination. But this coming battle will be the ultimate test of how you've lived your life until now, the choices you made not only for yourself, but for the fate of your entire universe.Character sheets and other info: https://controlc.com/46ec566dhttps://pastebin.com/u/GrandDragonQMArchive:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=Saiyan+Conqueror+QuestHelp fund quest art commissions and get exclusive side stories as well as artwork by joining the patreon for only $1/month at https://www.patreon.com/GrandDragonQMQuest rules are as follows(unless otherwise noted):>30 minute vote times>Pick ONLY ONE option when votingComment too long. >>6334120>So, a bit of clarification. Doom STOLE Dormammu's powers, completely ripped his magic from him. He's not possessed or controlled by Dormammu. So is Doom with Dormammu's stolen powers as dangerous as Dormammu or more? I find this opponent to be very enigmatic in terms of how much of a challenge he will be. Then again stealing Dormammu’s power in itself is impressive.Do you think that after tournament Chilli and Doom will start to hang out since they are both very smart when it comes to magic? >>6335167>Two hundred fifty... That's a really big number. I remember I really liked one Quest on /tg/. I still hope it is not over since there were so many things to do. There was an entire adventure ahead. I hope it will continue (pic related). There is only one problem with this. The last time QM of that quest posted was 12 years ago. I’m starting to think that maybe there will be no come back.My point with this is that it is really awesome that your quest is still going strong. You never ghosted us. I really appreciate this. Thank for all the fun that Saiyan Conqueror brings.>>6335642>I'm curious as to whether or not Hulk is the only Berserker capable of such rapid regeneration. What if in order to unlock it one needs to lose it’s sanity and become consumed by Berserker Soul? >>6335992More dangerous. As Dormammu is limited in what it can imagine, whereas Doom is creative.>spoilerWe'll see. You were just a regular peasant woman in a small village in the frontier. One night, you were snatched out of your bed, gagged and dragged into a cave. You thought some horrible monster was going to eat you, but instead a group of figures wearing black robes put you in the center of magic circle and chanted. You felt hypnotized and soon realized that they had done something to your mind. You woke up outside the village the next day and walked home. In your mind you knew that you gained the power to cast some dangerous dark magic! You can hear voices inside your head telling you to do things, horrible unspeakable deed...
