FAQ:
>What is this thread?
A place for biological women to talk about their lives.
>Why aren't you on Crystal Cafe?
It has been aggressively raided for years and is dead.
>Well, you're raiding my male safe space!
r9k is not a male board. https://wizchan.org/ is.
>I'm a man, can I post here?
Please don't, but if you are going to anyway, be polite and indicate your gender.

No. Fuck off.

Bio femanons, how would you feel if your boyfriend did picrel to you? Would you like it or would you be upset? How would you feel?

>Have you ever been on a road trip? If so, where to?
Several, and to lots of different places. Generally if it's going to take more than a day by car, I prefer to fly; but we did once drive to Florida as far west as Arizona.
>Were you driving, or being driven? What was it like?
We always rotate. I usually volunteer to do more than my share in the day because I hate driving at night. It's always a pleasure, but definitely more fun with more people.
>What did you do to pass the time?
Talk, listen to music, whatever.
>If you could go on a road trip anywhere now, where would you go?
I've got not particular place to go at the moment.
>Did something interesting happen along the way?
I don't even know where to start.
>What unique locations did you come across?
Lots and lots of tourist traps and novelty hotels. I just can't resist that stuff.
>>
Thank you for the thread , Tifosi! I'll answer the questions later since I'm busy at work tonight and just now taking a break.

>>79360575
I already have. He knows and agreed that this is a dealbreaker. Most of the other things are not a big deal like his conditions for me. I already got in touch with a company doctor explained the circumstances, and she is happy to get a taper protocol for me. As for as his smoking, I'm giving him benefit of the doubt thst he cold turkey it starting this morning.

>>79361050
They're extremely annoying. If it's thing I do hate is briars. I ususlly avoid any trail with them, and if not, I'm layering so much and avoid during warmer weather.

>>79361267
Oh boy, here we go. For one thing, you know nothing about him compared to 3 years for me when he moved here. Second, he drinks because he has severe PTSD that's been untreated because the VA here is shit (it's one of my dealbreakers--he gets treatment outside the VA, so he isn't getting the "it's okay because he has PTSD" BS they do.) It's expected when you've literally killed people because of your job. Third, he has zero history of violence except when he had to because of his prior jobs. And before you say anything about his divorce: his wife cheated on him.

Stop assuming shit.
>>
>Have you ever been on a road trip? If so, where to?
Not really. Every place I've ever been has been with 500 miles, so it's just more of a day. The closest to being a road trip is where I'm going to for vacay.

>Were you driving, or being driven? What was it like?
I'm always. I canmot stand not beimg the active role. Don't make me say the reason why :)

>What did you do to pass the time?
I'm driving. Of the few times I haven't: talk to everyone else or read.

>If you could go on a road trip anywhere now, where would you go?
I wouldn't mind taking a cross country trip to see our national momuments and the other standard sights. I think it would be cool.
>>
You women should settle for us progressive leftist incels who support your rights, rather than still rewarding and going for the trad maga chads who don't respect you and support taking away your rights

Seriously, things are going to get really shitty and most of you are going to get very mad about it - understandably. But why are you going to remain so unwilling to accept the incels who actually agree with your views, and why are you going to deflect the blame for what chads do onto us? Would it really kill you to have companionship with an unattractive man who loves you and sees you as his equal?
>>
>>79362770

>>
>>79362835
Apparently not if it got deleted.
>>
>>79362493
What are his conditions for you?
>>
>>79362900
It's actually not much and it's more about my looks. None of them are dealbreakers and his preferences are not bad. I don't mind them, esp the longer hair and wants me to wear it down more often. Really the only major thing is that he wants me to change shifts so we can have more time together. However he understands the reason why I stay on midnight shift, and he kniws about the potential promotion.
>>
>>79363076
You will wear your hair how he likes in exchange for improving his life? Women are awesome. Can't expect less from the queen of r9k
>>
>>79362454
>I don't even know where to start.
You start with one story. Maybe a second if you're particularly verbose.
>Lots and lots of tourist traps and novelty hotels.
What's the weirdest you've seen.
>>79362647
>I'm always. I canmot stand not beimg the active role.
Same. My situation is a bit more unique though because my car has a manual transmission which NOBODY knows how to drive. Every rough gear shift or stall causes me physical pain.
>I wouldn't mind taking a cross country trip to see our national momuments and the other standard sights.
I've done the Lincoln highway before and I highly recommend it. Just have good book or a bunch of podcasts for when you hit the midwest, because there is NOTHING between Montana and east Ohio.
>>79363076
>esp the longer hair and wants me to wear it down more often
That would be a no from me. Then again the men who would like me tend to like the pixie cut, so that's never been an issue.

>>
>>79363345
Because the land is mostly flat and there is bum fuck all aside from cornfields and the occasional town teetering on collapse only precariously floated by the local gas station. The Lincoln Highway is the first road to connect the coasts, and it was easier to go through the midwest.
>>
>>79363171
It's not much different from where I currently have it so I don't think it's a big deal and not really a condition. If anything, I'm asking a lot from him.

>>79363250
God I hated learning how tp drive a stickshift. I know 100% where you are coming from. It sounds like you have one of those synchronized ones. It's how I learned, as my grandadbhad one. I hated having to clutch, put it neutral, left off clutch, then clutch again then shift to the gear you need. If it was the wrong gear, it woukd grind. I could never speedshift like my grandad and mom could. My mom said I had to learn it, or she wouldn't allow me to get my license. I'm so glad for automatics.

Are there more sights among the Lincoln Highway? It's a bit further off. If I did something like this, I'd start in DC and go along Rt 50, then turn off if there are sights, even if thry are a bit away.

I couldn't go with pixie cut. I've always had it short like shoulder length, but never shorter.
>>
>>79362493
Imagine that. Who would have guessed that the woman who made it her entire personality to hate men because of their violent tendencies would choose a killer for hire as her partner? Certainly not me.
>>
>>79363405
>Are there more sights among the Lincoln Highway? It's a bit further off.
Not really, but you get to see lots of different places you otherwise wouldn't. Some towns are completely dead, some are large cities. If you're looking for sights, then maybe the southern horseshoe route is more for you. Start in Washington, move down the west coast, turn east and head through the border states and the south, then follow the east coast up to New York.
>I couldn't go with pixie cut. I've always had it short like shoulder length, but never shorter.
It's not for everyone. But it looks great on athletes.
>>
>>79363595
Thatvwould prob be the smarter option, esp starting on the west coast. At least that way, I'm not driving through the US to get back.

The athletes is why I always had mine shorter. It's just so much better having shorter hair in athletic activities. I never wanted it shorter. When Inwas young, my mom and grandmom wanted mine to be as short as theirs. I didn't have it threw a fit.
>>
>>79363724
Oops, forgot to out the trip back on.
>>
>>79363724
>Thatvwould prob be the smarter option, esp starting on the west coast. At least that way, I'm not driving through the US to get back.
True Americana challenge:
>No itinerary
>Sleep out of the car you rent.
>Navigate only with an atlas or printed directions
>Use only showers at publicly available facilities (gyms, YM/WCAs, public bathrooms, etc)
>Wash clothes at laundromats or by hand
>Eat at only local-owned dining establishments (you do get to eat at In-N-Out ONCE)
It's a headache and a half but you meet a lot of interesting people and get a lot of neat stories out of it.

I hiked some miles of it when I visited Shenandoah and it was beautiful. Do you ever feel shame or cringe about your desires?
I hate when I read a romance novel (or some other type of media like a game, manga or movie) and it resonates with me. The fairytale, the beautiful and powerful man, the magic and special purpose. But I realize the book just appeals to my generic NPC woman neurons and inherent human narcissism.

Because when I look around I see millions of other women feeling the exact same way and also fantasizing through various ways about being special and their romantic fantasy Chad or whatever. Making me realize that I'm just a monkey with these urges and we're all coping. I don't know I feel disgusted about myself, not just because this stuff will never come true but also that our brains are so predictable... I guess I just want to know if any other women ever felt the same.

yeah, i know what you're talking about. it's a combination of embarrassment because i feel entitled for wanting something beautiful and perfect and kind of unfair. like "i don't want to be spoiled, is it okay to want things" goes through my mind a lot. there's a lot of people telling you it's cruel to want things. like with height; there's obviously some crazy women who clearly have a fetish about it, but people will try to make you feel like an awful horrible person for wanting to feel like someone is holding you and surrounding you with warmth and comfort. it's not evil. it's not like, fair, or maybe always realistic, height isn't a deal breaker for me, but i would like to feel that feeling. it's okay to want things.

people have over psychoanalyzed reality. "inherent human narcissism" isn't a thing, nona, narcissism isn't natural human nature, it's an aberrant behavioral pattern. wanting things, having self interest, isn't the same as being self absorbed/obsessed/selfish. if we didn't have some level of self interest we would be husks containing nothing of value or interest to anyone else. we have to want things, and get things, to be anything, to have things, to give things. that's how reality goes. also do yourself a favor and stop using terminology coined by other people that doesn't mean anything other than inflammatory stereotypes, it's keeping you in a bad mindset. inherent narcissism, chad, generic NPC, these are fucking memes, they're not good for building a worldview on life around. they aren't truth.

i say that and it's true, but i also feel awful about it sometimes.

High standards is one thing, but only accepting perfection will leave you miserable and is quite stupid.
If you have a partner and you both are monogamous, you both will be special for each other.

I think people like you use this more as a defense mechanism, than anything else. If you only accept perfection, it's easy to dismissive others and also shit on yourself. But that's not relaly intelligent.

I can see what you are saying and I think it's true. That's usually the case with a lot of things.

It sounds like I have a goal in the future, even if it's just a small portion of the trail. It's one of the things I enjoy about trails is their beauty.

That's is completely wrong of them. A lot of people are there to enjoy the trail, not get harassed. I can understand the safety with the few crimes that happen along it, but still harassing others and ruining the experience is just flat out wrong.

Yooo I hope you're still here.
I think pretty much everyone can benefit from a cleanser, a moisturizer, and sunscreen, in that order. A lot of people suggest just going for European/Korean/Japanese products, because apparently they are a lot more strict than America with what they are allowed to put in products or make products with. But you can probably still find good American brands. I'd share my brands but they're literal fucking moon runes. I do use Neutrogena as a moisturizer. But it's not a one-size fits all type of deal; what works for others may not work for you.
If you want to add shit like retinol or under eye cream or whatever, then I am lost and am of no help. I only know like the absolute basics.
I know people like to use EWG and Yuka to check if the ingredients are 'clean' but I find any site that tries to think for you is susceptible to be bought out by various companies and become unreliable. I prefer using something like incidecoder to look up individual ingredients that I'm questioning, to see why it's there and if it's unnecessary or harmful, or not what I need.

Yea men can definitely be overcome by their urges.
I think the difference is men are usually able to separate their normal thinking from erotic thinking. He'll think she's really hot, then forget to play vidya or do work or program or something for a couple hours. its segmented off.
Where with women it seems they make their lives about their relationships. I remember seeing some photo of how women on social media mention "boyfriend/husband" like 4x more than men mention "girlfriend/wife"

I dont want to be a misogynist, but man it feels hard

That's just 4chan. There is no correct answer for height because there's no correct answer for anything. Some people here will always look for a reason to get mad at you.

>a man dislikes taller women
"Wow, what a loser, being this insecure is pathetic."
>a man likes taller women
"Wow, what a fetishfag, probably has mommy issues too."
>a woman dislikes shorter men
"Wow, what a bitch, as shallow and superficial as they come."
>a woman likes shorter men
"Wow, what a liar, just saying that to be a pickme."

Also reactionary ego protection, "anyone who wouldn't date ME PERSONALLY is evil". Ties into the common idea on 4chan that "men and women shouldn't be friends or interact at all outside of dating".

You get butterflies around tall men, you want to be picked up and carried and feel safe and comforted in their arms? Great, don't stop that feeling, keep on feeling that way. Men would be hypocrites to get upset with you because we moids feel the same way sometimes about tall women too. We don't have be dating each other for us to use a little empathy and understand how the other side is feeling. Your desire is valid.
>>
>>79371784
Yeah it certainly has two sides to it, thats fair. But on my point earlier, men can love a woman while still having his own life, women biologically make their partner their entire life. Thats the difference.
Frankly I just women would be more independent. Have hobbies and interests and not feel like appendages.
Just kinda coping the world isnt how I want it to be

Yes I have been stressed to hell and back. Fucking tons. Florida twice, NY, Texas, California, South Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana.
>Were you driving, or being driven? What was it like?
Usually both though I've done some solo
>What did you do to pass the time?
Music, podcasts, listen to comedians, audiobooks, just enjoying scenery. If there's someone there, we talk about life and all that good seep shit.
>If you could go on a road trip anywhere now, where would you go?
Alaska maybe, never could go because of fuckin Canada being in the way. So many places I'd want to go though. I think NW is the direction I'd try to go though
>Did something interesting happen along the way?
Tons of shit. Saw an owl, saw a wolf, had my timing belt break and had to repair it at a gas station, watched a raccoon dumpster dive, saw a lady get left at a gas station in the middle of fucking nowhere, saw a bunch of people spill out of a metal thing on a truck that I didn't think would hold people, drove through a shithole where I thought I'd actually die and saw literal toddlers on the road at 2am and tweakers trying to stop my car
>What unique locations did you come across?
I mentioned a shithole, that was Cairo IL, looked like a literal ghost town. There was a gas station in Alabama where a black motorcycle gang surrounded my car, that was fun. There were places in California that you wouldn't believe were real. So many lakes and rivers in NY I would just pull over and go for a swim. The flat cornfields of the flyover states were surreal. Texas is huge and changes from forests to swamps to scrub land, and I haven't even been to west texas yet. There was a fucking huge long bridge in Louisiana in peak bayou territory that was insane.

>>
>>79367806
I used to alot...especially for having kids and wanting to get a girl preggo and having a white picket fence happy relationship and marriage whatever. I guess the growing up on the internet meant that I knew to a degree fantasy is fantasy but I never truely believed it can be real. It also didn't help that my mom is radfem and drilled into the idea in my head of "what women want is X" and telling me reproduction is immoral and overrated, marriage is a shitty institution etc.

There's nothing wrong with having a fantasy. I think expectations should be realistic but there's nothing with having standards, or even a type. And all humans are inherently slightly narcissistic, what you are describing is basic human experience and if you cringe at your own humanity you will have a serious problem with mental health.
>>
>>79374229

It's not too bad of a series. It's about a group of vigilantes that battle robots call boomers when they go rouge. Many just become sentient and decide to cause damage. That's where I see things going. There is another series called Bubbkegum Crisis which is what it is based on.

what's your skin type anon? like do you feel it dry, oily or both in different areas? figuring that out is the first important step. the next is knowing what your complaints are. acne? dark spots? or are you just trying to keep up already good skin?
the absolute basics are FACIAL soap (please do not use body soap on your face. i see a lot of men doing it.), some sort of toner and a moisturiser. if you have oily skin like me, buy a gel moisturiser, it should advertise itself as for oily skin. dry skin needs something more heavy.
ALSO, sunscreen. very important.

Despite being a soft science that has it's major flaws (especially in the replication), many of your older psychologists were research junkies and it's drilled into many psychology students. I just find it funny how psychology has a history of poor science, yet they're able to really scrutinize studies so much due to how it's always taught in every course before getting into actual course content.

I meant metaphorically in that I support you and want you to be happy. I think I'd be too afraid to try to jump-scare you; if you panicked, you could injure me quite easily. ; )
>You have lighted up this thread so much since you been here. Thank you for being here with us and all the hugs.
Oh my goodness; you have no idea how much that means to me. I wish I had more to give than hugs and feels, but I've got plenty of both. *hug*
>A lot of people in Florida are pro-Trump, so being in Florida automatically means you like Trump according to people so much into politics.
A lot of the conservatives that I know personally were actually very unhappy with some of the things which Trump said about our governor back during the primaries.
>>
>>79381242
lol, I kind of meant it that way. I'm just so out of it atm that I kind of said it in a different way than what I meant. I probably would hurt someone at this point esp after the dementia patient episode.

You mean a lot to me, along with a lot of other posters as well, but you really give the hugs and hugs are always great.

That's just Trump being Trump. I dislike him because of he's a master manipulator. You just have to look at how many people idol worship him. The one thing I don't really get is how many christians engage in it.
>>
>>79381344
>The one thing I don't really get is how many christians engage in it.
The Bible makes it clear that sinners and nonbelievers can be chosen by God to do God's work. Cyrus the Great did the work of God without believing in God, so too does Trump do the work of God and Jesus without believing in God or Jesus. It doesn't matter how loathsome or despicable or sinful he personally is as long as he does the work.

If you believe that life is sacred from conception, then protecting that life is your holy work, more important than any other Christian duties. Pointing out that Christians vote for anti-Jesus policies (like reducing/eliminating social safety nets for the young, the old, the poor, the sick and the needy) doesn't work as a "gotcha" because it's really just a pragmatic choice for the lesser of two evils.

He wouldn't have the support he has if America had three political parties and ranked choice voting. Imagine a world with
>Republican Party - no social safety nets, taxes only for police and military
>Democratic Party - social safety nets and legalized abortions
>Christian Party - social safety nets and abortion bans
and you imagine a world without Trump.
>>
>>79381585
I'm not going to debate you on that because I already know most of Jesus's disciples were major sinners and many would have been stoned to death for their sins. Not to mention The Apostle Paul and his persecution and execution of many christians before being converted. It has nothing to do with "gotchas." The phaoroh in Egypt was used by God to free the Jews. Despite wanting to, God hardened his heart every time.

We're all sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God. I just call out Christians who idol worship as if he's a messiah. He's not, and people need to stop the act the worship. Yes, you can cite the verse about Jesus saying about me focusing on the splint in others eye while ignoring mine. Idc.

>lot of the conservatives that I know personally were actually very unhappy with some of the things which Trump said about our governor back during the primaries

to be fair DeSantis started it with his ai memes against trump. It's a really bad idea to go that route against trump.

i didn't think i traveled a lot, but looking back I guess I did.
I might be biased but the forests of NY have a special place for me. i Think the biggest 'swing' would have to be California, seeing some of the most otherworldly sights that even photos wouldn't do justice, and turn a block to see a homeless woman having diarrhea on the sidewalk.
Cairo is something else, people don't believe me when I tell them the story. Only place where I genuinely didn't feel safe stopping, and literally never did; I treated everything as a yield and just drove right on through
may I ask what brought you to Cairo?
>>79376473
Daytona both times, I had family there. It felt a little surreal, palm trees everywhere and well manicured streets and perfect houses like it was a movie set. Didn't help that that side of the family is also a little odd; they never turned on lights, had box fans everywhere, and only watched black and white no audio picture shows. We also ate turkey sandwiches for every meal besides some breakfasts, when we got water and cheerios.
Beaches were super fucking nice though. Lost my top in the ocean and cried, and I still have fond memories of those beaches.
Almost went to Miami with friends, but I found out they were going on a 'sexcation' so I skipped out on that.
What are your opinions on those places, Florida-Chan? I imagine they aren't good lol

The stuff they teach us here just doesn't work and the biggest thing they emphasize is "please do not do it." It's crap.

I love the Meow Mix song! I might just make it my new ringtone! I've been needing to change it for awhile.

Sometimes just watching that movie becomes a Groundhog's Day. My brother used to watch that movie constantly. There's a manga I read awhile back that's rarely updated called We Won't Become Adults which has this trope.

There's also the thing about verifying the people they write in. My write in of Jesus of Nazareth? Good luck verifying a person of that in the modern day.

It sounds like you're just aimless and you maybe need something new. But spending hours on c.ai is not going to help you feeling lonely in the slightest.

You need to stop thinking that you have no agency in how your day goes. Sooner you realize that your day is as good or as shitty as you make it, the better you'll be.

>That reich was very ahead of the curve with animal welfare.
The Nazis treated horses and mules and oxen likes expendable resources with less value than a car tire.

My maternal great grandfather family made a fortune breeding thousands of horses in Northern Spain which they sold to Germany and Vichy France, only for them to end up being used as pack animals hauling supplies in the mud of Ukraine until they were worked to death and then shot for meat to feed their malnourished army. An imperial state requires that life be given no value in order to maintain itself, be it the civilian, the soldier, or the animal. All must die to serve the state.

We had to use it for Pilgrim because we were having trouble with the in-game audio, but it's understood that you shut up the instant you die.
>All must die to serve the state.

Just be aware that the so called USA government you see on so called media, does not exist.
The world you have seen on some called media as something you are supposed to believe is, is no different from posts on /pol/ made by Israel-cult VPN hiding in their bombed out final bunker.

No one actually voted. And if anyone did, no one really believed they were voting for their true government.

True government is many organically equal leaders and infinite verities of simultaneous dimensions of divergent congruent progress.

Not played Pilgrim yet. Not having in-game audio working would just be a no-go for my group. Sometimes games make great use of your audio, or sometimes mods like the skinwalkers for Lethal Company.
>That was how the Soviet Union dealt with Chernobyl.
Not quite an equivalent, but the point still is still valid. If someone said I was to die, and presented me with the option of dying of radiation poisoning to save the rest of the world versus getting blown up in a war, I'd take the former.

get an exfoliator be that a product or a tool, also look up what kind of acne you have because i know there's different procedures.

pretty much. any place with a skincare section should have them, make sure to specify you have dry skin.

it's nice to do it. iirc the damage to the skin has to do with the uv light and not the intensity of it.

Why do I bother being nice? Just ran around a trashcan of a backyard to herd a chihuahua back to it's house. no lighting. For some reason, among the other trash, there was a concrete chunk that I didn't see, and I think I twisted my ankle and knee on it. At least I got my cycling in today but I was planning on a hike tomorrow, looks like that will have to wait...
Also why are people just awful? It's like the minute we discover what an orgasm feels like, we become just evil.
