FAQ:
>What is this thread?
A place for biological women to talk about their lives.
>Why aren't you on Crystal Cafe?
It has been aggressively raided for years and is dead.
>Well, you're raiding my male safe space!
r9k is not a male board. https://wizchan.org/ is.

Please don't, but if you are going to anyway, be polite and indicate your gender.

What a fantasy. Strangers do not approach strangers. A strange man approaching a strange woman in a coffee shop is a creep who just wants her for sex.

>>79396104
>What is/would be the biggest misconception people have about your boyfriend?
That he's super-wealthy.
>What is the most romantic thing your boyfriend ever did for you, or you wish they did for you?
When you're loving and reliable every single day, there's not much need to grandiose gestures.
>What was your first date like, or what would you want your first date to be?
We met when we were preteens and living on the same street, so we've never been on what I would call a 'date'.
>What is the biggest compromise you have/would make for your boyfriend?
I don't think I've ever conceded anything more severe than where we went to eat or what movie we watched.
>How does your boyfriend differ from your husbando?
Well, all of my fictitious crushes have been on girls; so that's a pretty big difference.

>>79396868
>i'd like to go on a date to a rollercoaster park or water park someday.

Everything is fine, nonas! Got to my destination without issues. Sorry, I must see how things are going here. It's boring since now it's dark and cold out.

The perfect thread since it applies now :)

>What is/would be the biggest misconception people have about your boyfriend?
That apparently he is some whiskey bottle throwing abusive guy when everyone except the people who say that about him have known him for three years when he moved here.

>What is the most romantic thing your boyfriend ever did for you, or you wish they did for you?
He hasn't yet. Though, I find it admirable that he's doing as much as I put on him. He's already quit cold turkey with the cigarette smoking, and is going to do the alcohol taper protocol when I get back from vacay. We'll get to the exercise thing eventually. One thing at a time.

>What was your first date like, or what would you want your first date to be?
I was wanting a day at the spa then to the cafe to be it, but he wouldn't have the spa part. I even told him while I'm getting waxed, he could have did a sesh in the sauna.

>What is the biggest compromise you have/would make for your boyfriend
He's not asking for a lot. It's really just looks that are his preference like the longer hair. The only thing I'm not going to be able to compromise on is the switching to evening or day shift so he has more time to spend with me.

>How does your boyfriend differ from your husbando?
Never had a husbando.

>What is the most unusual request you've had from your boyfriend?
I don't consider any of his requests unusual.

>>79396104
>What is/would be the biggest misconception people have about your boyfriend?
People assume he's an asshole and shy but he's really nice and talkative when you get to know him
>What is the most romantic thing your boyfriend ever did for you, or you wish they did for you?
He surprised me with a rodeo. Told me the whole time we were going to a play and I believed it the entire time, even as we parked next to a trailer with horses and I walked in and had that manure smell hit me lol
>What was your first date like, or what would you want your first date to be?
Went plum picking; neither of us liked plums but we were too polite to say anything and assumed the other liked plums. It wasn't until we noticed each other SUFFERING through eating plums did we realize we had a huge problem, what with picking a fucking bucket of them.
>What is the biggest compromise you have/would make for your boyfriend?
I moved halfway across the country, away from the land my family lived in for at least 4 generations, away from my family and everything I knew.
>How does your boyfriend differ from your husbando?
My husbando Rasher is actually a lot like my husband; prickly and quiet at first, but nice when you get to know them. But Rasher is a pig, and my husband is a human primate. I am also pretty sure Rasher can't read.
>What is the most unusual request you've had from your boyfriend?
He requested my assistance lifting an elevator to release not one but two barred owls. Long story.

NTA but there are multiple posters in these threads who make me think "wow, that's a cool person, I hope they find happiness someday" when I read their posts. Even if these impressions of those people are wrong, even if a person's 4chan posts are only the tip of the iceberg in the totality of their life, the impression of having a parasocial relationship with cool people still exists. Isn't that why we all keep coming back?
>>
>>79399041
Hey! Thank you for checking in! : )
>Despite knowing he is wealthy
Oh, he isn't. Maybe I misunderstood the question. What I meant was that a lot of people have said that they initially through he had a lot more money than he actually does. I mean, he's done pretty good; but I wouldn't call him 'rich'.
>>
>>79399054
>i don't know where you get that idea

Proceeds to write one of the greatest sentences known to mankind in response to 'sit alone at a coffee shop or smth'
>i don't think "the beauty of a mind" is very easy to detect irl.
You're most likely correct. I'm not sure how many men are sapio, but you're not going to find them unless you open your mouth to share your thoughts with boys. I'm sure you'll find one that responds well to you or at least learn who doesn't.
>>
>>79399092

>we Won't Become Adults
I am adding that to my to-read manga list, I really enjoy manga over anime.
>>79388866
>need a small group
Scheduling gaming with people irl has always been a hassle for me since becoming an adult. It sounds fun to try again sometime when life doesn't get in the way. The agreement for anyone not to communicate outside of game is too real though, I remember that being an issue with newcomers to multiplayer games like you mentioned.
>>79388099
> my bf's favorite part was when you had to try to murder the daughter's favorite toy?
That part almost made me CRY, but it was good at it's intent of jarring me from an otherwise lighthearted story. Especially since as the player, you *know* that destroying the toy won't make the two characters human, but you have to complete the objective regardless of that fact
also, *hug*

It's a social psychology term where people will "misattribute" a feeling as another based upon the situation. Like, people will misattribute the adrenaline feeling they get from roller coasters to feeling "love." It's interesting. I do not remember the original study but I think it involved crossing a "dangerous" bridge.

>>79399120
Tyvm. He would like to do his old army and DEA trainings he had to do to qualify, but he also thought it as a chore and not fun at all. I just think he needs to find something he enjoys. I don't know if he'd enjoy cycling. I just want his general health to be good. As I mentioned: if I'm goign to have a boyfriend, he needs to be physically healthy.

>>79399126
It's way too early. It hasn't even been a week yet since we made it official! Why would I drag him to something I planned months ago? And what about arrangements? I'd be too awkward even sleeping in the same room this soon. I'm just enjoying the chance to finally relax. I don't remember the stress of driving that long and distance being that bad.

What was your first date like, or what would you want your first date to be?
Our first date was dinner at a restaurant at the theatre before going to see Isle of Dogs.
What is the biggest compromise you have/would make for your boyfriend?
Giving him the benefit of the doubt more times than I honestly should have in regards to his anger issues and stubbornness. He did make some progress, but it was a case of 1 step forward, 2 steps back, 3 steps forward, 5 steps back and it became too much for me eventually.
>How does your boyfriend differ from your husbando?
My husbando is just Carlos Sainz ,who I would tear into like a cat with an unattended treat bag. (Mmm!)
>What is the most unusual request you've had from your boyfriend?
Asking me if I would dye my hair blonde one day. It was a silly request and he knew I was probably going to say "no".

>>
>>79401633
NTA but I like brave girls. I just have to believe you're sincere and not pranking me or setting me up for something. Some of your bravest attempts also work as pranks. If I were that grocery store worker then I would think you were trying to get me in trouble, because my boss would probably reprimand me if I let a non-employee do the work. I'm sorry it was a bad move, but it just means that that particular move was bad, not that no move will ever work because bravery will never be good. Each failure brings you closer to the right move. I believe in you and I respect you and I think you're going to make it.
>>

You're smarter than that nonsense. Even here you can see Ms Brazilian helplessness having to drug herself out of the boredom from her act not working.

>>79401699 is correct about the prank things, and also I don't know anyone who would accept food from strangers like that in my area, at some point we got this psychosis that means a sandwich from a stranger is more likely to mean you're getting robbed/kidnapped than a person with extra food wanting to share. Has less to do with claws and more with self imposed shackles at home that provide some comfort I guess.

It can happen, not friends friends because I don't know what that is but acquaintances where I started being an awkward silent guy that just mumbled stuff like some retard and went out of my way to avoid eye contact. If it's not for business reasons first impressions are overrated, specially if you see the people regularly and can mend your awkwardness in plenty of ways.

I choose indifference when mad because things I said and regret still pop up more than a decade later. Not worth the hassle.
Things might be less autentic if I don't go and say that stuff but they were already unauthentic, or authenticity maybe doesn't matter much so sweeping things under the rug just werks. I get angry about very stupid things anyway.

>are you friends with people you meet who are strange and off putting and strangers at first and who mess up and they talk to you and rub you the wrong way
When I was younger I made friends with people in school, and now I make friends with people at work. Some of them are weirdos and some of them aren't. I don't make friends with people on the street, regardless of whether or not they're weirdos. The context and setting of how you meet someone is really the most important part. If you're not satisfied with your current people-meeting opportunities then you really should try weekend classes or weekend work (or try it again if you already have). You probably already know this though. I'm not here with easy "one simple trick" solutions to fix your life. All I can do is tell you this truth: I do appreciate your bravery, I do respect you, and I do believe in you.

Normies say that hate is bad but when I hate I reject femininity and weakness and can be stronger because I just hate foids, gays, trannies, and everyone else who is against me and pulling me down into hell. All these inferior beings deserve nothing but my distain. As a superior human being I should be the one telling them what to do and they should be my slaves who live to serve the noble ideals I define and I create through my own superior intellect. I have nothing against love or compassion but these things turn evil if it opens up your soul to evil, like everything women say. And I say that hate is good and humane and noble when it protects you from the influence of evil.

That's a part of it. Though it's more that, for example, someone is experiencing that heart flutter from an event with someone, which then they think it's from being around that person instead of the event itself. It's not just limited to love :).

I find that men being shorter seems to be an anger link, though that's 100% anecdotal. I have a patient in the group home I dubbed "angry manlet" because he's 5'4" and one of his diagnoses is Intermittent Explosive Disorder, which he'll be set off by the littlest and dumbest things. Yeah, I have PTSD and I remember that when I moved to a big city I could hear the loud noises of peoples footsteps during the waking hours when they'd walk to Uni or to Work. It make my heart ache and I'd curl in a ball and hide. I'd pray it would go away, but it wouldn't. The only thing that would stop that was the vodka.

Are you sure you're not confusing me with someone else? I haven't posted a vocaroo in a while, and the last one I posted anonymously. But I enjoyed recording the few I did. I might record one for the fun of it, today. Season 2 of what? Sailor moon? I need to watch the sailor moon R movie now that takes place after season 2, I think it's supposed to be more focused on Tuxedo Mask, desu I'm not looking forward to it for no reason, but maybe it will be better than what I expect. Sailor Moon really surpassed my expectations so far.

I loved feeding the pigeons at the beach, as disgusting as I know that is. They even landed on my head. I couldn't be mad though they let me hold them.
Seagulls never got close though.
>>79406913
I'd just like to interject for moment. What you're referring to as a Sea Gull, is in fact, a Western Gull, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Larus occidentalis. Sea Gull is not a species of bird itself, but rather colloquialism of gulls, terns, skuas and skimmers found mostly in the Laridae family which consists of medium to large size birds that are usually grey or white with black markings on the head and/or wings.
Many avian enthusiast see species of the Larus genus every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the species of gulls which is widely seen today is often called Sea Gulls, and many bird watchers are not aware that it is not a species but basically a vernacular term for web-footed seabirds.
There really is a Gull, and these people are seeing it, but there is no species of gull that lives in the sea. Gull is the ambiguous characteristic: It refers to any seabird in the Laridae family that are coastal or inland species. The family classification Laridae is an essential part of naming a gull, but useless by itself; it can only be identified in binomial nomeclature in the context of the genus. Gull is normally used in combination with the common name of the species: the whole naming system is basically Larus occidentalis/L. occidentalis of the Laridae family, or Western gull. All the so-called Sea Gulls are really slang for Laridae!

>What is/would be the biggest misconception people have about your boyfriend?
That he's emotionally distant, or a stereotypical emotionally dumb guy, for lack of a better way to put it. He's more in touch with his emotions and keen to my feelings than they think.
>What is the most romantic thing your boyfriend ever did for you, or you wish they did for you?
The most romantic thing I always remember was on my birthday when we were both a lot younger. We had a nice dinner in the city and were on a bench watching the snowstorm starting to kick up, him in his nice dress shirt and pants, me in a dress and his jacket. Felt like I could have sat there all night
>What was your first date like, or what would you want your first date to be?
He made me dinner and we went to see a movie. Nothing fancy but I suppose it was enough considering where we are now.
>What is the biggest compromise you have/would make for your boyfriend?
I guess giving up my career to be a mom. I was making pretty good money and had paths available to me to make even more. There's a specific certification I could have gone for that would have upped my earning potential and if we moved someplace with an actual tech sector I probably could have boosted my income by a good chunk. Some short men choose to have Napoleon complexes and some choose to become Napoleon.

His wasn't anything related to height though and more toward his stubbornness. He'd seemingly take a stand on random things and would never budge and then get angry that anyone would try to negotiate with him about it. It became less frequent and he did learn to communicate to resolve issues over time, but the final explosive episode was in public and could very nearly ended with him getting hurt or killed that it became too much.

She sleeps pretty well usually, yeah. We usually go for a walk somewhere with the stroller and play for a while and stuff, plus she loves playing with the cat so maybe she's just tiring herself out? I'm thankful either way that she sleeps easy and (for now at least) needs more sleep than I do.

I've rewatched Angel Beats so many times that I forgot. It's my favorite, but I've watched it so many times that I just cannot get into it. Two others are Jigoku Shoujo and Blue Seed. Blue Seed is another that I've watched so many times I just cannot get back into it, despite me loving it. Jigoku Shoujo I need to rewatch since it's been forever. Though, it's very episodic. I'll have to try to remember what episodes I liked and rewatch them.

Yes, I think you're right about short men.

It's okay. It feels like I'm addicted to 4chan. But I'm enjoying it. Infact, I forgot how it feels so much better when Ive been drinking.

The difference is F/Z is the prequel and the events 10 years prior to F/SN. Many characters in F/Z appear in F/SN. I didn't really like F/SN so I've only seen each of the them once.

>>79412557
Funny how we were talking about F/Z and F/SN, yet you describe a subplot in Fate/Apocrypha which has my favorite character in the entire series: Jeanne D'Arc. I hate how they portrayed her in F/A, but I love her in F/GO.
>>
>>79396104
your body my choice lol. What you do dumb bitches think now HAHHAHHA
>>
>>79414192
>I didn't really like F/SN so I've only seen each of the them once.
That's a shame, I'm a big fan personally. Though I initially only played it to see all the ways Shirou would die in the various bad endings. I really like Archer too, though, so I'm biased towards F/SN (and UBW in particular)
>>
>>79414254
How you got through all of the VN...congrats. That would have taken so much patience at the end even just to get all the bad endings. I only got about 20 minutes in and I dropped it. I do like Shirou's and Archer's link (spoiler so anyone reading won't get spoiled):

Archer being Shirou that made a contract with the Counter Force and the resulting consequences of it.

If you are interested, F/GO has another version of Archer in the Shinjuku chapter which shows even more damming consequences that Archer goes through. Though interersting enough that he finds new ways of using his Noble Phantasm.
>>
>>79414356
I know a little about F/GO but haven't played it, I'm not really a phone gamer. I don't think I could make it through F/SN now if I tried, though. I just used to be way more into VNs than I am now. I do love the link between Archer and Shirou, and I also like the similarities between Archer and Gilgamesh's abilities, both basically boiling down to "I have all the weapons", while also being Archers, of all classes. Kind of tempted to get back into the Fate/Extella games now, I only ever played Link but it was a lot of fun just stomping all over enemies as Archer
>>
>>79414399
It is what makes Archer the perfect counter to Gilgamesh. I love to admit that Archer's NP is so cool. There's also how he can utilize the copied weapons in ways that the originals could not, despite them always being downgraded versions.

I haven't played any of the Extra games. There was a storyline event in GO based upon the Extra games in which had the alternate universe Archer. Are they the same? Sorry for the spoiler: the one that he overloaded his magic circuits so much that his body is extremely broken, changed his favorite swords into guns, then utilizes his NP to create UBW inside whoever he shoots? That is the version of Archer in the Shinjuku chapter GO.

GO is something I'm so burned out on. They just keep dragging it on. I just want the Lostbelts to be done and over with here in the NA version. The problem is there are even more chapters after this. It's such a money grab they're going to milk it forever. The concepts of the Lost Belts is interesting, but JFC let the series die already. I don't recommend anyone to get into it now. The story is too far along and the best available servants are rarely around anymore. I got all the meta servants like Waver, Castoria, and both Skadi's.
>>
think ill go to the boyfriend store today
>>
>>79414458
They don't really give this version much backstory that I know of. He's basically just F/SN Archer with longer hair and he's slightly nicer. They also call him Nameless. He's basically just one of the lieutenants for the main character, along with Nero, Tamamo, and Charlemagne
>>
>>79414463
pick me up a sweet funny one too.
>>
>>79414525
That's a completely different one. My guess is that they went with the Shinjuku chapter one instead of the long haired version. They probably went with it so they didn't have to program yet another version. Meanwhile, they have five million versions of Artoria, granted though she is the Fate franchise mascot. They also have plenty of different versions of her Alter as well.

>Tamamo
Two versions in GO: the main one and Cat. Koyanska was supposed to be until we find out in a later chapter that she just took the form of Tamamo and is again spoiler: one of the beasts of humanity.

The usual: "omg he expresses his emotions? What a rude, violent jerk (plz dump him and go out with me okay?)"'

>What was your first date like
Not your typical love story. Basically, you could say he forced his love on me (sort of).
I initially resisted, said "no, stop" and all that. but after 30 seconds or so he hit my G-spot, in a way no one else has done, a way I cant really describe. We were connected on a deep, spiritual level. After that I've never rejected his advances.
We've been together for over 18 months now And I've been off birth control for about 1 month
Love finds its way. I couldnt be happier than I am with him, he's a strong, confident man.

Going to the hospital to put in a paper application like I mentioned month or so ago. I brought my resume along with a copy of my licenses and other credentials. I don't think they'll hire me since everyone around here hires locally. They have issues hiring people outside the area as people will move here, then move back when they find out how expensive it is to not only live here, ut also insurance, the cost of the move itself, looking for roommates, etc. Even the apartments are a lot hence why many have so many roommates, and they'll have bunks with two per room. But it's worth a shot. Maybe they'll reconsider!

Then come back, relax a bit. I started rewatching Inuyasha the Final Act last night, so I'll finish that today. I just finished the episode where Inuyasha obtains the Dragon Scale Tetsusaiga. After that, idk. I may just eat out tonight at the place I always do for one night tonight. Their alcohol always tend to be strong. Even the Margaritas. Last year, I caught a buzz just off that one.

I think a lot of qualities have some evolutionary benefit. The one anon or nona awhile back pointed me to that article where people with ADHD were excellent foragers.

I got it. I'll reply to it later.
>>
>>79415452
>people with ADHD were excellent foragers.
It's why I am not a fan of calling them 'disorders', from what I've noticed from my friends who have ADHD is that they are amazing at menial repetitive tasks. Every time we would play Minecraft they would dig tunnels for hours on end. Evolution is not kind to many of us and it's a shame we need to medicate so many.

Both. The cops in this city are notoriously terrible too. They want to be the Judges from Dredd so bad, but are cursed to exist in a pretty chill city.
>And, as far as I have seen, recreational sledding.
Which is impressive because that indicates their ability for complex play. But their behavior regarding their ability to trade is maybe the most fascinating part of them. They recognize the function of currency and will pick up coins and bills off the ground to give in exchange for food, even if the food is not immediately given. This implies an ability to understand the concept of delayed gratification, which is one of the biggest indicators of higher level cognition.
>>79414192
So long as you're making time for yourself is what matters.
>The difference is F/Z is the prequel and the events 10 years prior to F/SN
Does it have insufferable characters though?
>>
>>79415879
Here's a fun fact: not everything labeled as a disorder is a disorder :). It becomes a disorder if it's causing some kind of issues in the person's life. For me as a child, my hyperactivity and inattentiveness was creating issues in the classroom. So, it was a disorder.

I just hate that it's so regimented. I feel if they changed school around to work with people with ADHD or any other disorder, we'd have more successful people. I really hated that I was just medicated just so I would shut up, stop being a brat, and actually listen and read the book. I always succeeded when I was engaged in activities.

>>79416905
I don't think there are any. It's a masterpiece for a reason. If you don't mind spoilers:

Shirou got his "muh hero of justice" bs from the main character in F/S. This person was the one who saved and adopted him, and taught him reinforcing magecraft. Though he's not really insufferable from it. He has a legit reason for his wish for the holy grail.

I really do suggest you watch it, esp if you liked F/SN. It can get really deep at times.

I'm sorry, I forgot that you said that. It is a lot better. It isn't cringe at all with Kiritsugu. He takes it very seriously and does whatever it takes to accomplish it, even immoral things. If you're a fan of action, you'll love his two major battles.

Watch it. At least give it the three episode rule.

>I always succeeded when I was engaged in activities.

I just don't like the whole, to quote South Park, "SIT DOWN AND STUDY!" They don't think we would like to? Unfortunately when we do, we just cannot concentrate. Try being on edge 24/7 and being driven by a motor. It's terrible, yet the alternative is bad as well. Do they think I like being on these meds that cause so many side effects when I was a child? All of that just because they don't want to create a learning environment for people with ADHD? It really makes me mad AF. It's why I think it wasn't much of an issue in days past because in the past, people who would have had ADHD would always be engaged due to working on the family farm or some kind of work.

it's not bait men simply don't deserve a chance, you forgive a man and he will to do it again, they don't think "oh she's so nice and loyal" they think "what a stupid idiot I did this to her and she still around, how far can I push the line next time?"
>>
>>79423647
Like I said, it doesn't matter whether it's bait or not. It's perfectly accurate and describes the reality of it. Men who provide a relationship of convenience for women will have to walk on eggshells for the entire duration because they're completely disposable.

I haven't been here in a while.
This is a radical change from the moid-chan that used to froth at the mouth at the idea of being asked out by someone.

Is it the same neighbor that asked you out? or are you just that evil?
>>
>>79423192
there, I posted.

It's that I'm trying to get rid of my old resentments. I think allowing the neighbor a chance is proof of that, despite not loving him.

I am missing context. You went out on a date with the neighbor?
Is he your current bf?

>>
>>79423819
at risk of being too intrusive; I do wonder if it's a good idea to try to "get over her resentments" with someone she doesn't love. If there's a lack of actual emotional connection, that could end really badly.
>>
>>79423815
Why the suspiciousness? I'm simply dating him because I think it's worth a shot and give dating another try.

>>79423819
Everyone is misinterpreting everything. I do like him, but not love him. I'm hoping it will blossom into love. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out.
>>
>>79423850
>Why the suspiciousness?
the current lack of love.
But as I said, I am taking your word in good faith. I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Just not how I'd do it, which casts doubt.

>le coffee brand coffee muh own coffee brand
Coffee is such a ridiculously easy thing to sell white label, and they all come from one of only a handful of sources, so anyone buying influencer-branded coffee is paying a ridiculous markup for packaging when they could literally get the same thing at a Sam's Club or Costco cheaper.

It's that exact reason I don't take anyone who consumes Black Rifle seriously. Either they're ignorant and were too lazy to do a few google searches or they know and choose to have it as a signifier, which makes them a tool. Either, way, they're an uninteresting person.

I'm only 1/3 through the book but no, female-on-male abuse is outside the scope of the book's focus.

That part is disappointing, but a book doesn't need to be perfect in order to be "good enough". I'm enjoying reading it, and I think when I'm finished it'll probably be good enough for me to recommend it to anyone who wants to know more about abuse, about the causes of abuse, about the types of abuse, about the warning signs of abuse, etc.
>>
>>79427054
>>79432286
The book is also good for anyone who wants to examine themselves with a critical eye.

I don't enjoy seeing bits of myself in here, but I sure do have an urge to always be right and to correct other people when they're wrong. My saving grace is that it's just an urge and not a pathological need. But I could still be more considerate and more respectful in my behavior.

This part also reminds me of myself when I was a teenager. I was a retarded moron who didn't know the difference between playful friendly banter and outright insulting people... so I ended up insulting people.

There's more to abuse than just violence and shouting, there's also mockery and humiliation. If you ever run into Teenage Me, please advise him to shut the hell up and quit being a jackass already. Don't ever let yourself tolerate Teenage Me.

This part is extremely disappointing.
Go watch TLC's My 600 LB life season 3 episode 3 for an example of a woman destroying, controlling, and destroying a man's life. Sadly the solution is for him to man up and stop taking care of her. But Victims struggle to do that because their will is broken anyway and they play into it, willing to be abused

You're in luck, early 2000's internet era shit is coming back in style for kids who weren't even around long enough to be nostalgic for it. You just need to know where to look, and accept the fact that these areas of the internet are filled with 14 year olds
On a semi related note, Tamagotchis are coming back in a big way.
>>79433756
Unrelated (or maybe it's the same episode I don't really watch this show religiously) but I just remember the one episode where the fat dude was in so much pain traveling to the doc and at one point in the episode he unexpectedly dies and they actually interview his gf/wife/ladyfriend like the morning after, I thought that was so fucked.

Literally the reason I stopped posting pictures and stuff on here. I almost let my location out one time. How's the bf doing while you've been on vacation?
>>
>>79434433
Exactly. I don't know why I was born with a Y chromosome. I think we need to aim for a future with only women in it - just make it impossible to have a baby boy or something. People think men are evil, but we're really more of worms/puppies/pets, wanting to use women as a body pillow. EVERYTHING for men is about women - I truly don't think most women understand this - this is a biological thing we cannot change.

He relapsed on his smoking. I'll forgive him this time for that provided he learns from it. He really misses me. I think this is the real reason he relapsed. But, it doesn't excuse it. He's going to have to eventually switch his extrinsic motivation (me) to quit his smoking over to wanting it for himself and his health (intrinsic.) If he does it because of something related to me, he's not going to make it long term.

I know. It is one of the conditions I have laid out for our relationship. It is a dealbreaker. He tried though and lasted over a week, so I know he can do it. Maybe when we start exercising and feeling how bad it feels when he's coughing his lungs out, it'll become an intrinsic motivator.

Cold turkey is one of the best methods. I won't mind though if he chooses another method like nicotine patches or Bupropion. I'll give him plenty of chances provided he makes an actual effort. If he shows, however, that he's not going to do it or try, our relationship is off. I told him this is a deal breaker. I'm not going to have an unhealthy boyfriend.

I respect vets for what they did and served, I just don't like that companies are literally basing their entire marketing gimmick on that entire thing. It's just pointless virtue signaling and not whether the product is good or not. Unfortunately, people fall for it.

I know, I know. I've been working in mental health for long time :). It's why I've been lenient on this specific matter. Just what I know from addictions, it's going to be a rough road. But I think he's capable of it. Also, he doesn't have much for me while I'm putting a lot on him. So, he deserves a lot of chances on this. That doesn't mean it won't have consequences in the future :).

Another day of 0 energy. Is this what getting old feels like? Everyday is a struggle to just wake up and stay awake.
>>79442296
Boy do I love living with no access to news. But unironically.
>>79442358
What would being mad at her do for me? She is the only parent I have. That is just how she is.
>>79442553
idk why ham puppets made me giggle so much but it did
>>79442456
My mother isn't perpetually abusive, she just occasionally flies off the handle. She has a poor grasp of her own emotions. I don't think she means it, but being a boomer she doesn't believe in therapy or meds.
>>79443239
Niiiice! enjoy your practice and kitty
>>79443951
I'm just trying to understand her and remain non-judgmental. Trust me I have had my bouts of hating her as a teen.
>>
>>79445518
I am guessing every two weeks yes. Today would be my second week now

>I don't think she means it, but being a boomer she doesn't believe in therapy or meds.
That really isn't an excuse. Stop defending bad behavior.

>My mom is using the threat of killing her cats to control me again. I tried offering to take the cat for her, but obviously she doesn't want that because it takes away her power.
>I just want it to stop, but I don't want that poor cat to die. I remember when she first got me those cats when I was a teen, I literally didn't want them because I knew they were leverage. But I can't help getting attached.
Women, amiright? One of their favorite strats.

How do I make moid friends that aren't coomers? please I'm losing hope in humanity really fast
EDIT: Phone autocorrect
>>
>>79446290
idk if you can, realistically. Speaking from experience, once you hit puberty it seems to go one of a few ways;
>they want to be friends because they want to shag you
>they don't want to shag and thus aren't interested in being friends
>they have a GF and don't want to make her jealous
>you have a BF and they don't want to make them jealous
You could go be a fag hag but, anecdotally, they seem to be basically women personality wise. So if you're specifically trying to get away from the cattiness, gossiping, one-upping type of stuff, fags will probably not be much better. I do find they are a little less competitive and catty than the average woman.

You don't, men like to fuck. Take it or leave it.
>b-but I've heard...
No.
>I'm losing hope in humanity
Your loss, become a nun.
>>
>>79445720
Do you think it's worth trying to understand her? Even if you did, what would it change?

>>79445788
If you do, what's the plan with it? Are you also looking for full time work?
>>
>>79446290
Seek to make a women-only world. Many men's lives are ruined by desperate thirsting for what they can't have. Their lives are ruined. But because if this they can't keep their desperation coming out with every interaction with women.

I am being clumsy as FUCK today and dropping everything. Maybe I shouldn't clean out the fridge today...

I'm too autistic. You mean using living things as leverage?
>>79446173
I feel like US president is a lot like the royal family. It's more appearance than anything else. People behind the scenes are likely pulling the strings.
>>79446342
I have actually seriously considered being a nun because that was a... nunnery? Near my hometown. Beautiful area, but the nuns just made foods and jams and stuff. I wanted to be part of the monastery, because they raised working dogs! Alas, vaginas were not allowed there, just like penises were not allowed in the nunnery. I couldn't imagine spending my days baking cakes and picking berries when just across the ravine there were dogs and puppies being trained as service dogs.

It is kind of sad, not having a parent. Or believing the only parent you have hates you. It is also really tiring having to hate or dislike someone that is supposed to be close to you. This way I can believe she means well, just does so poorly. She isn't always like this, too. Especially now that she smokes weed she has calmed down a lot
>>
>>79446396
dude shut the fuck up already, buy a fucking dollhouse and make your women only world at home

Just earn some money for the time being. It'll end I'll try to find something better. I want to at least save enough so I can return to school and finish my degree. Right now worrying about bills and stuff isn't helping. I can't juggle a job and school either especially when I need to study.

I can very much relate. Are you also diagnosed with ADHD?

I agree with you in that it's really tiring. But, do you think it's really worth it to try if it's really tiring? It sounds like it's more work and her history and actions should speak to you.

>>79446708
Balancing school and work is def a hard thing to do, so I cannot blame you on that.
>>
>>79444845
Don't worry, project 2025 is not a thing. The good thing about your skill is you can freelance, find new friends via gamejams and stuff like that. Time will get rid of the former crush
