As an unintentional side effect of forcing myself to care about the world though, I became much more judgemental. It's hard for me to ignore wrongs, especially when it happens in front of me. I have become a confrontational person.I don't like confrontation even if I'm good at it, and the person being confronted almost never admits fault or learns from the experience. So it's a bit pointless. I never wanted things to become like this, I just wanted a reason to stay alive. But it's like, by becoming invested in my life again I became unable to ignore what's wrong with it. And what's wrong is so huge that there's nothing I can do about it. It's like the entire culture is rotten. It's agonizing.
